When I saw this place I thought it would be the best pizza ever, it looked so aesthetically pleasing from the outside, and overall looked like a really good pizza place, however, I'm disappointed to say that the pizza was mediocre, and the customer service was even worst. They will fail to greet you with a "hello" or "goodbye", they don't offer hospitality in the slightest. Not to mention, the cook stared at me the entire time the pizza was cooking in a discomforting way. Everything you ask for will be a "no", even creating your pizza in the way that you want it to be. The ranch is 80€ per each small cup, they will not offer you napkins or plates. As a overall summary to this place, I do not recommend it to anyone and I will not go there ever again. read more

I love pizza from Bizza. I love that they are walking distance from apartment, I love that wonderful humans are manning the phones and the front desk even during a pandemic, and I love that they make delicious food - pizza and appetizers, etc. consistently. I have been ordering from Bizza for many years now, but I've never appreciated them more than right now. My favorite pizza is their Go Green veggie (add pepperoni), they do it so well. So many more vegetables than you'd get anywhere else. We have also ordered their, Wild West BBQ pizza, mozzarella sticks, spicy chicken strips and wings and they have all been great. I've had Bizza slices before. The pizza is what I call good. It's basic good pizza. Bizza should be a baseline for pizza should be. Light flakey crust, quality fresh toppings, and topped just so you get a nice filling bite, but the slice doesn't immediately fall apart if it's held at the odd angle. And they are consistent! But it wasn't the pizza that prompted today's review. I had a fantastic delivery experience on a Friday night! I went to eatbizza.com ordered a pie, and it was at my door in 25 minutes! Unheard of in this area. They use toast and it automatically linked to a doordasher, no logins, no accounts, tip included. I'm a fan of the streamlined process and it appears to work very well. They are famously busy on Fridays, and tell me they are on top of their game to get my order in my hand to quick. Good on ya Bizza. read more

I want to give them more stars because the vegan pizza and food is so good, but I cannot find any reason to justify the insane vegan tax on their pizzas. A 10" vegan pizza is $25 and if you want to get a 16" it adds $18. Eighteen dollars ?! That's an entire pizza for someone who eats dairy. Getting a cheese pizza and changing to vegan is $7. I was really close to giving this spot a bad review but they ultimately won me back with their customer service. Given I visited this place twice in one day (during the Haight-Ashbury Festival), I was a bit taken by their prices, but the pizza was pretty good. The 2nd time I visited, I ordered a single meattza slice. After waiting quite some time, I noticed that my friends that ordered before me were getting all their slices. I knew about this place because it was recommended by one of my cousins, and she told it was really good( and that there deep fried Oreos are a must). Went down to Haight street to try it out and let me tell you that it came up to my expectations. I ordered there steak and cheese sub, and sub the regular fries with garlic fries. It was so good, the bread was thick so it didn't get moist, but also the meat wasn't greasy which felt really good. I haven't tried the pizza but every time I go I get the same thing since it's really good. There deep fried Oreos are also really good, I'm guessing they use a red velvet flavoring for there breading since they come out red( different type of breading). But when you bite it, it melts in your mouth. I recommended this place if your around Haight street. read more

Came in to this place on their first day open and I was blown away! It's a traditional American fast food pizza spot, the kind that is scattered throughout SF but things at Bizza are way different. The place is clean, nearly spotless and everything inside works like it should which usually isn't the case at fast food spots, especially in high traffic areas like Haight. They also have two big TVs that play all the major sports games. The paint on the place is also very good and a lot of hand drawn artwork. The food is amazing, you can tell it's not just your run-of-the-mill pizza, ingredients definitely taste better than most places. The cheese is really good and their crust, slightly crispy on the outside while soft in the middle and most importantly not too thick. The perfect balance to keep the toppings on the pizza and not on the floor. After that initial slice that got me hooked, I have continued to return to Bizza, slowly consuming the entire menu when in need of a late night snack or fast food. The wings are also another staple, I have to get some each time I come. They are hand tossed and sauced made to order! Not that pre-made stuff that taste like freezer. I actually don't understand how a lot of these other pizza places stay open with such mediocre pizza, most of these places cater to the late night crowd and don't really care figuring their customers don't really have any options so they cheap out- not the case at Bizza! Great atmosphere! All the staff and environment is friendly here, you could even bring your family. They know their stuff if you have any questions about the ingredients. THIS IS HOW A MODERN FAST FOOD SPOT SHOULD BE! But remember this is Haight street so its not unusual to have something weird going on out side or come inside the door. read more

Got the 10 % coupon pop up from yelp and figured why not try the new spot out. I went there with 2 girls friends at 1145 am on Saturday The place seems like it was just starting to get the lunch crowd, so we got in just in time as by the time we were leaving the place was packed. The guy in the front Tony (name tag) was very nice and seems to really enjoy working. From the looks of things, he enjoyed eating pizza as well :). We ordered a medium pizza (Tonys Special), wings and a Cesar salad. OMG! That pizza was absolutely amazing. (Side note) It's 6 pm now and we had 2 slices left over and I just can't wait to eat them here in a little bit. The salad and wings were also 5 star. The staff that work there are incredibly kind, patient, and hard working-- when I was there they were doing a great job handling a lot of customers right before closing. The pizza and the food was really good, but the staff was super rude. They would ignore us when we tried to ask for things and were just overall short with us for no reason. We tried asking for a refill on one of our 2 drinks, (you get one free refill per drink), and they quite literally yelled over us telling us we couldn't get another one because we'd already gotten one, (on the other drink). They have 2 mile delivery radius. I live on ocean beach, a 10 minute ride, but that's outside their stupid radius. They nicely offered me to pay a $8.99 delivery fee on DoorDash/Uber Eats though. The prices on Uber/DD are much higher than in-store. Now I have to pay $39 for a XL pizza instead of being able to take advantage of their 2XL and a 2L soda for $35 with free delivery. The pizza is okay, but absolutely a rip off because I'm one mile too far. For Pete's sake, it's even a walkable distance. read more

I work in the Mission District and there aren't a lot of pizza joints nearby but whenever we have a craving for pizza, we always order at Bizza. They have great quality pizza. A little on the pricy side but overall tasty. We had the Margherita and One Bad Date. So so soooooo good! The bbq wings weren't bad either. My only issue is their delivery service estimations are always very off by an hour or so. That's the only reason I am docking a star. I appreciated that they are open on Mondays. Service was so-so speed-wise. The prices seemed really steep, but when I saw the size of the pizza slice, it justified it. It's like 2-3 times what I think of a typical slice of pizza (like from Dominos or other chain). I really appreciated the vegan options. The slice was generously full of toppings. The main reason I found it only ok was it was way, way, way too salty. I could barely finish the slice. I had two different types of specialty slices, and they were both incredibly salty, so variety didn't matter. I feel the same way about Cybelle's too, but not about Patxi (RIP Inner Sunset one) or Above Ground in the Mission (RIP). The other thing was, the window menu and 'kiosk' and inner menus didn't match. Bizza hits the spot when you're craving pizza! Bizza has some pretty interesting combinations that I have yet to see at other pizza spots! Lamb gyro anyone? Additionally, they're very efficient and will have your pizza ready in 15-20 minutes! On our visit, we order half Lamb Gyro and half One Bad Date to go. I loved the One Bad Date. I could smell the garlic as I brought a slice of the One Bad Date up to my mouth. With copious amounts of red pepper flake, this combination is amazing! Highly recommend! The lamb gyro was pretty good too. Not quite as good as the One Bad Date, but still pretty yummy. I will say that I wish they weren't so skimpy with the lamb =/ This might become my go-to pizza spot in the city since it's walkable from my boyfriend's apartment. The service was very abrupt, the 3 workers were not friendly. Did not want to happily help the customers. Declined fountain refills with a drink over half full with ice. I Originally said I was taking the order to-go. Got it served on 2 small paper plates. When I asked for a to-go box, I was handed a small pizza slice shaped box. While the pizza was oversized and didn't fit in it to begin with. I asked for a larger container and was charged .50 cents just for a to-go box. While also the pizza was very low quality.
