Hi my friends and I went the other night for pizookies and we went at about 10pm. We got there and there was plenty of open seats however the hostess said "Would y'all turn around if we said we couldn't seat you" and we were like "Yeah" then she said give me a few minutes then we will sit you (took 20 minutes to sit down). However right when other people got there they were seated immediately so we were very confused. Then once we got seated our waitress kind of threw the straws at us and was very mute. Along with that we never once got napkins and it was very messy. I also ordered a s'mores pizookies before the guy next to us and he got the s'mores but I had to change mine. And when we got it the ice cream was melted and the cookie was cold like it was sitting out forever. We have given this location multiple chances and today is the last. We waited over 30 minutes past our pick up time/check in and then get home (5 minutes away) and our food is not only Cold but looks like this. It's disgusting. A couple weeks ago we ordered catering for a party and it was a disaster. They did not give us enough food and when we complained to the manager he said that the salads were correct for 12 people. However when we requested him to plate salads for 12 people with what he gave us, he realized it wouldn't even feed 2 people. He had the kitchen add more lettuce but it still wasn't right. On New Year's Eve, we came in around 9:00 pm and just wanted to relax and have a few shots. They have a full bar and we wanted a buttery nipple, BJ shot, 3 wise men, and a shot of tequila. They were unable/unwilling to do the first 3 shots. We were told that they did not have a button for the shots and did not know how to make them. WOW really?, with what looks like a full bar set up. Great place to meet with friends. Menu has lots of options and variety from light to regular comfort foods. Different seating areas, service was friendly and quick. Waited at counter and young lady said she will be right back. Ok no big deal. Place wasn't that packed. Was told 15 mins to sit. Ok. Called up and told to sit by the bar wherever. Waitress comes and went to order a hot chocolate and nope don't have (it's on the menu) ok. A hot tea. 10 mins later comes back and says they don't have cups for the tea. Whatever. Should have left at this point. We just order. Salad and a pretzel come out about 20 mins later. Almost an hr later from ordering a chicken sandwich and bowl of chili arrive (chili is cold). Waitress never stops back. Walked by the table 6 times atleast and didn't acknowledge me. After a bit she comes and asks about desert. No thanks just a bill please. I've been to a BJ's in so many states I've lost track. In my circles BJ's was the place we all went to for dessert. Those amazing pizookies put them on the map! However, recently I've ventured into BJ's with the family and was surprised to see BJ's has come changed things up recently. They've expanded their menu to include healthy options that aren't simply a smaller portion of something unhealthy. Their Enlightened Menu offers really tasty options (Kale and Roasted Brussels Sprouts Salad + burgers + tacos + pastas) with a filling portion size. BJ's also works for our family since their kids menu really offers something for those little picky eaters, including fresh veggies or fruit in lieu of french fries which makes this mama happy. In addition the noise level is just right for a family with young kids. The cost is pretty similar to your big chain restaurants. read more

I love coming to BJs especially for the blackened salmon. It has a delicious butter sauce. I have them change brocolli for asparagus and a baked potato instead of rice. Salmon sometimes tends to be over cooked at some restaurants but not here. It was perfect. Service was excellent too. I use the app and pay and get rewards too. The Pizookie with ice cream on top is a nice way to end the meal but I had willpower today and passed. read more

REALLY disappointed with our first (and probably last) visit to BJ's Brewhouse. Because the menu looked wonderful, we thought we'd finally give it a try. We went for dinner at about 4pm on a Friday.... Not a busy time. The first thing we were hit with was the fact that they were out of about half the menu items due to "supplier problems". While we have encountered this off and on during the age of COVID...some places may not have an item or two available, this is the first time where it seemed like the place was out of everything good. We settled for chips and queso, fish and chips, the Nashville Hot Chicken, and the New Orleans Jambalaya. The fish and chips and the Chicken sandwich were both rather plain....nothing to write home about, and the Jambalaya was way over seasoned. The only bright spot was our Cookies and Cream Pizookie (a large cookie with ice cream on top). Beyond that, even though the place was not busy, our server was not very engaged. If we ever set foot in a BJ's again, it won't be this location. read more

Great bone in fried wings, nothing else. On 1/21/18, Sunday, celebrated my husband's birthday and table reserved for 12. The restaurant was unable to accommodate 12 people (9 adults and 3 kids)...we put the kids in the booth of their own while the 9 adults squeezed into what was set up for 12 people. So so so disappointed -- I almost slipped and fell on their VERY greasy entrance that I would not even recommend bringing an elderly person there. How can this establishment even pass safety inspection? Then being told by the hostess that it is only slippery due to my not having "anti skids shoes on." Seriously? It was like walking on ice starting from their main entrance at the lobby. I ordered prime rib medium and so did my brother, medium. His came out raw and mine came out overcooked. Everyone else completed their meal when ours came out the 2nd time around...still yet, not corrected; but who would send it back after the 2nd time? We were hungry and everyone was finished with their food. For $29/per prime rib plate, you would think they could have made this meal acceptable. My brother's prime rib was well done (still not medium after sending back) and my rib was just right -- medium). Cooked right, came out room temp to my table the 2nd time with overcooked, soggy asparagus -- these were the only 2 items I had on the plate, no au jus, no horseradish nor did the server ask if we needed anything. Our server was nice, Gary, but inattentive -- still, we gave a decent tip (20% total of the bill) because I'm courteous like that as I've been a Waitress many years ago. Water had to be asked for repeatedly, he never came out with his crew as they delivered all food to the table (no one one knew who got what plate). Could it be because the football game was on? The only good about this particular BJ's was their fried wings and it was a good thing that we ordered several plates as appetizers or we would have been starving waiting for our dinner. Lastly, SAFETY IS REALLY MY MAIN CONCERN...Fix your floor and get rid of that grease off of it; that's a nice lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

Sadly this was not the best experience. I know I'm not an old man, but I am 35 years old father of 3. My wife and I decided to drive down from Sherman on short notice. I wanted to order a beer but I forgot my wallet. Again, father of 3... When the food came it was mediocre at best. My kids Mac and cheese was craft easy mac, the box from the store costs a fraction of the $8.00 BJs charged us. My burger was acceptable but bland and my wife was let down by her "Southern Comfort." When the bill came, the don't even scan your card anymore! They require you to scan the QR code and input it all on your own. Worst experience ever had from BJ's. Very disappointed. We didn't have to wait too long since We put our name on the waitlist online. The waiter told us that they don't do prim rib special on Sunday. It clearly said on the menu and the website that they have prim rib special Friday Saturday after 4pm and all day Sunday. He told us he's going to check with the manager and We had to wait a while and he said they will make it available this time like We are asking them a favor. The waiter came back to tell us they don't have one of our order 20 minutes after We ordered. Then he went back to ask manager and he never came back to us to let us know what's going on. We didn't get our food for long time. We ordered an appetizer and that should've came out long time before. Finally We asked a waiter and all our orders and appetizer came out at the same time. The appetizer was cold and looked like it was sitting out of a long time. I ordered the Sal's Brewhouse chicken and it didn't come with mashed potato. The table and all the menu were sticky and felt very dirty. It was horrible and We all lost appetite and our son never fuss at a restaurant. But after the long wait without food he was tired and hungry. BJ's was one of our favorite restaurants. It was my husband's birthday. But I don't think we'll be back anymore. First time ever eating at BJ's. Started off on the wrong foot with the hostess. The table was dirty and still had the previous guests payment on the table. She would have licked the plate on that Asian salad had it not been over board. I had the blackened shrimp tacos. The sides were awful. Chipotle sauce, greasy chips, and some green tinged mayo avocado sauce. The tacos were good. They also offer flavored teas. Which are good if you can get them to bring you a refill. States unlimited. I got one refill. (Fail) The menu is like reading "War and Peace." It is overwhelming, way too many options. Doesn't appear that they have one speciality food that makes them shine. They do offer a large variety of beers. Our waiter without a name tag provided ok service. Never been here and you guessed right, don't think I will be returning. Absolutely nothing here grabbed my attention as wanting to be a repeat. Through there you can check to see if there's a wait, and tonight at 5:30, there was none. When we got there three minutes later, there was a ten minute wait. So I'd say that wait list thing needs improving, but we were seated by 5:40, so it wasn't a big deal. Service was excellent this time around except for the very beginning. We didn't get silverware until after the salads came and after asking twice. Other than that, it was a flawless performance. Victoria was a doll and she smiled the entire time. I got a wedge salad and it was great. My hubs got a sirloin that he said was better than Texas Roadhouse, and for him that's like the highest praise ever. It was cooked PERFECTLY. The pic makes it look small, but it's a thick cut and he got a salad (not pictured). We both had cheddar mashed potatoes but you couldn't really taste the cheddar, which bummed me out. I got the Parmesan crusted chicken, which, in all honesty was not great. I'd seen pictures of this crispy chicken dish and what I got was drowned in lemon sauce and soggy. It still tasted fine, but wasn't my favorite. So here's the real update: I originally stated in my review that this place is basically just Cheesecake Factory. I stand by that, but here's the deal: unlike at the Cheesecake Factory, I didn't have to wait an hour. I didn't pay $18 for that chicken...I paid $13. This place is far more kid friendly, something we didn't notice when we came here the first time. It's not as fancy as the CF, and that's good for our 4 person family. The kids menu here is pretty fantastic. Plus, the cookie pazookie is just something everyone has to experience. I can't give it five stars. It needs tweaking still, but I can say that before the GM reached out if written it off. We just left and we are already coming back to watch the game later this week without the odd and try out the happy hour specials. It's progress that wouldn't have been made had the GM not reached out. So thank you. Get the salted caramel pazookie and thank me later. read more

Worst burger i think I've ever had. Meat was dry, flavorless, and definitely not cooked medium-well. Missing a lot of toppings. Bun was very cold and doused in mayonnaise which made the lettuce soggy. Fruit in the kids meal was bruised and gross. It's almost like the people making the food are either lazy or just lack the passion in the food industry. It's a huge shame because when you go and spend over 40$ for a dinner, especially during times of inflation, you hope for even a little bit of quality but this is the last time we're eating from here. I called and the manager was nice enough to at least give me a partial refund but I'm wishing I had spent my money elsewhere. Liberty burger in Allen has decent burgers so I recommend that place over here. read more

My partner and I came here for a date and the atmosphere is perfect if you're looking for something a little more casual, but not fast food. Average price is about $15-18 per meal. It wasn't too busy when we came because it was later in the evening (9:30pm) but food felt like it took forever to leave the kitchen. I ordered shrimp tacos, and my partner got a jalapeño burger. My tacos were freezing by the time I bit into them, but the saving grace was that they tasted good. My partners burger was warm so I assume that's what took so long. We ended the evening with their pizookie which was delicious. Our server was nice and was helpful with any questions and got us everything we needed. read more

This used to be a favorite with me but after today I will never come here again. I ordered a beer and salad. When the waiter came to put fresh pepper on my salad, we both saw a bug jumping around on it. He immediately took it and ordered me another one. The second one arrived and after about five minutes of it just sitting there the waiter finally checked on me and asked how it was - I told him he took my fork and so I have no idea. When the fork arrived, I poked through the leaves and found ANOTHER BUG! I showed it to him and he said he would talk to his manager. I told him I didn't want to pay since I couldn't eat it and was grossed out. They comped the salad but wouldn't comp the beer that I left unfinished on the table. The "system" apparently wouldn't let them comp the beer. I know about technology limitations but from a customer service perspective they screwed me. And I don't appreciate it. read more
