Kept seeing the IG influencers posting about the banh mi sandwiches here and have been wanting to compare the crispy pork to banh mi hoa phat. Decided to swing by before work to grab sandwiches for myself along with a few coworkers. I was there slightly after they opened and while I do appreciate the freshly baked bread, it took them 20 mins to fulfill my order (15 banh mis). Of the 3 I tried, I really enjoyed the Korean short rib as it was really flavorful. In addition to the normal cucumber and pickled carrots/radish, they included kimchi cucumbers. The only thing I'd change would be how big the slices of the short rib as some pieces were hard to bite through. The wifey enjoyed her grilled chicken and the crispy pork was good. They were pretty generous with the amount of protein they put into the sandwich with the exception of the chicken. Comparing the bread between Banh Mi Hoa Phat, the bread here has less of a crunch and is a bit more like regular bread than a baguette. What I do miss is the garlic soy sauce that Banh Mi Hoa Phat includes with all of their sandwiches. Don't get me wrong, both places offer great sandwiches but the sauce really makes a difference in adding a ton of umami. Will be back soon to try their rice dishes as they looked tasty.
Super swift and friendly staff came during the last hour as my nail techs said this spot just opened and it's super clean and good! They were not wrong everything was delicious as a bahn no hunter and lover It's provably my new fave spot! The springs rolls were also delicious. I didn't try any drinks as I wasn't to grab sugar cane at another spot. But omg don't sleep go grab a dac biet here now! Love how nicely everything is packaged and they purposely separate all veggies so your sandwich doesn't get soggy!
I really wanted to like this place and it was to replace going to Banh Mi Hòa Phát. Sadly it was mid for me. I ordered on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy. A few orders in front of me. I was looking up at the menu and the person behind the glass handed me a menu. The glass partition felt like I was in line at the bank. Kinda cold. The place is smaller than I expected. The food was ok. It tasted ok, not bad but not the best. The bread was soft and baked fresh. You could tell. The xui mai was very peppery but I liked it. The heo was crispy. The milk tea was so below average. This made me really sad. $7 for a milk tea (no toppings) and it's tasted so bland. Buy it from some where else. Even better wait for 7 leaves to open. I order: Banh mi heo quay Banh mi xui mai Milk tea Total: $30.91 I should have read the lower reviews. As a person with anxiety the system to pay SUCKS. I tap my card and am promoted with 3 options of tip. I felt so pressured that I chose the LOWEST option without knowing it was 20%. The option to not tip is not shown clearly. So for someone who was already feeling anxious trying a new place, being put in front of this small screen with basically only 3 options is a death sentence. I won't be coming back. My advice if you try this place bring cash. I'm not the first person swindled by their 3 options to tip. Yes I read the response with there is an option not to tip, but it's hard to read a 2 inch screen.
If I would I'll give ZERO STARS. Very disappointing experience. I specifically asked for extra jalapeños on my sandwiches, but instead I was charged $5 for two very small containers of chili oil that I never ordered or asked for. I was surprised to see the charge on my bill when I got home. If I request an extra ingredient, I expect to receive what I asked for--not be charged for something I never requested. The $5 charge for two small containers of chili oil felt unreasonable and should have been explained or confirmed with me before adding it to the bill. Customers should be informed before being charged for items they did not order.
After an amazing Yelp event at Bread Spot in Rosemead, I had to return for more 5 star banh mi especially with crispy roasted pork. My eldest daughter and I got here really early shortly after they opened on a Saturday morning. We got 3 sandwiches (Bread Spot Special, Crispy Roasted Pork, Grilled Chicken) and two drinks (Vietnamese Iced Coffee with ice, Green Thai Tea with no ice) for take-out. We didn't eat here as we were on our way to the 2026 Ronald McDonald Walk For Kids event at Brookside Park in Pasadena. All 3 banh mi were very tasty. A whole truck load of meats in every bite (figuratively speaking). Roasted pork was crispy and flavorful. Chicken was well marinated and tender. Special meats complemented one another very nicely. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Well done! As for the drinks, my Green Thai Tea had great flavor and taste. It's a keeper. However, the Vietnamese Iced Coffee did not have the same caliber of flavor and taste. It was quite bland for a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, hence, it's not a keeper unfortunately. Lady staff was super friendly and nice. Ambiance was cool and welcoming. Restroom was amazingly clean and comfortable. Parking is in the back of the restaurant or street parking at the front or side are available, too. I have been back one more time for take-out. I look forward to dining in next time. Came for Yelp event last time and had to come back again for their roasted pork banh mi. Learned that the owners of golden delight are part of this spot as well. Designs feel similar to it. They ran out of banh mi right when I got there but was told it was 15 mins for a new batch. The roasted pork banh mi came with crispy pork and an amazing butter/mayo sauce. Bread was fluffy inside and slight crispy outside. The dac bite was also solid with the pate and Vietnamese ham. Brought some banh mi back but due to their enclosed plastic containers, the banh mi I brought home were a bit softer.
Hands down my favorite banh mi spot in the SGV! As their namesake boasts, their bread is INCREDIBLE. Soft and fluffy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. My two favorite banh mis are their roasted pork sandwich and their bread spot special, but you truly can't go wrong with any of their banh mis. My friend got their beef sizzling plate, and honestly, if I would be tempted to try it next time if I wasn't SO IN LOVE with their sandwiches lol. The packaging for the sandwiches is also really well done, so getting it to-go is super convenient, but I actually enjoy dining in. The store is so aesthetic and clean (which isn't always the case for the fire banh mi spots lmao), and enjoying it fresh really hits. Parking can be a little tricky, if you can't find street parking, we usually park in the lot behind the building with an entrance on Earle St.
Dare I say these might be one of my favorite spring rolls beside summer roll! So refreshing and really well filled with fresh ingredients. The spring rolls were so good! Also the banh mi had almost like a truffle flavor that was so good with the crispy baguette. Place is new so so clean and cute and employees were efficient!

They are definitely bringing their families here.l Ordered 1.Bread Spot Special Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt 2.Crispy Roasted Pork Bánh Mì Heo Quay 3.Korean BBQ Short Ribs Bánh Mì Sườn Bò Đại Hàn Drinks Jasmine Milk Tea Tropical Fruit Tea Soursop Tea Since I tried the Chicken Banhi Mi last time, I decided to try the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. The meat was perfectly cooked and sweetened. I loved their fresh hot baked bread. With all the fixings, the sandwich made it even more delicious. I loved my refreshing fruity drink, Tropical Fruit Tea. The service was great and ambiance is modern and beautiful dining area. Parking is in the back or you can use the side street. I will definitely be back again.
A surprisingly spacious banh mi sandwich shop on a readily accessible busy street corner--street parking by the residences behind the building. Since I couldn't make it to the Yelp event hosted here last week, I came yesterday for lunch after washing my car. Very clean, bright, and inviting inside. Lots of two-person tables a a couple 4-person ones. Tons of natural lighting from the windows on two sides. Kien who helped me up front was friendly and professional. When I asked about what flavor the tropical fruit tea was, he said it was one of his favorites with pieces of mango and strawberry in it. My go-to banh mi sandwich is grilled so I ordered it for comparison. I'll definitely come back to try one of the 14 other offerings (Korean bbq short rib!). Once you order, they call out your order number when it's ready. The packaging to go is so neat and tidy, with all the cucumbers, cilantro and jalapeños wrapped up, separately from the pickled radish and carrots, separately from the bread with meat and mayo. A little cup of hot sweet chili sauce on the side was a nice touch! Their French bread gave an audible crunch with every bite (I could hear the crunch from my nearest neighbor 3 tables away!) the grilled chicken was well marinated dark meat, very tender, no fatty parts. Let me just say there was nothing left but crumbs by the end of my satisfying delicious lunch! I took my tropical fruit tea to go since I had a ways to drive home. Super yummy with tiny pieces of watermelon, strawberries, mango and other fruits! Not too sweet. Highly recommend! I'll be back even though it's a drive!
I tried 3 different banh mi and honestly I love the bread here it's soooo fluffy and soft. My fave has to be the pork belly banh mi. Their pork belly is so flavorful and the soft fluffy bread makes it so yummy. Another banh mi I really enjoyed was the Korean bbq meat one! That was flavor overload. I've also got spring rolls and their spring rolls are filled up! The eggrolls are also very crunchy and delicious well. I def recommend people to come and try their pork belly sandwich!! This place also is very clean and modern looking. I feel it would be a great place for people to come hang talk and even study. The workers are super nice as well. It's nice when they are nice and patient when you're trying to decide what to get. I love the recommendations they provide as well.
Bread Spot is a somewhat new banh-mi spot that has a modern take on a Vietnamese sandwich shop. While other places just make your sandwich and wrap it in parchment or butcher paper, Bread Spot puts them in a clear plastic container, labels it and keeps the vegetables separately in small bags. This allows each person to customize to their own liking. This is a great idea for those who are new to banh-mi. We tried their crispy pork sandwich and also the meatloaf. Both taste fresh and a decent size. The crispy skin gave my sandwich nice texture, but some pieces of the pork had very little flavor when eaten by itself. The inside is clean and bright. Tables are placed throughout but most are small, for 2. We heard about their delicious cookies that's available on weekends only, but when we arrived before noon, they were sold out due to a special event. So we ended up having sandwiches instead. The prices are a bit higher compared to other banh mi places but I expect you're also paying for the presentation and ambiance. Still, they seem to be very popular as there was a steady flow of customers when we were there.

Went today, drove past 2x, I took a pic. Its on the corner. I was really wanting tofu, they dont have that style. For ovo veg they have eggs and veg spam. The bread was so fresh!! Did not know what to expect, so glad I tried it. 100% value for price which is so key these days. Easily for me to save other 1/2 for later, it didnt come cut, I had to ask, so ask firstIt had a light sauce and usual toppings. Theres a menu in their photos, def worth checking out. read more
Solid banh mi spot with adequate seating! Love how it's also a family-owned business. It's currently the soft opening until the end of the month of January where if you spend more than $10, you get a free iced Vietnamese coffee (cafe sua da). I ordered their dac biet and crispy pork. Highly recommend the dac biet as a solid top choice. The crispy pork's sauce was absolutely delicious. Plenty of parking located in the garage behind the building. read more
This time, I returned with a pickleball buddy to try out Bread Spot. Both of us came in with pretty high expectations. We both ordered the Iced Vietnamese Coffee and ate family-style, sharing the Sticky Rice and the Pork Skin Roll. The only thing I didn't personally try was the Pork Sandwich. The Food & Drink * Iced Vietnamese Coffee: Very strong and flavorful with the perfect amount of condensed milk. * Shredded Pork Skin Roll: Very fresh and loaded with vegetables. It's served cold, though it's worth noting that the traditional smell and taste might not be for everyone. * Savory Sticky Rice: This was a highlight! It featured high-quality ingredients with great textures and complex layers of taste. * Grilled Pork Sandwich: According to my friend, the sandwich was quite greasy. The Experience Overall, the flavors here are savory and bold. My only critique is that the meat felt one level too greasy for my preference. Pro-Tip for the Restaurant: It would be great if they provided a wet wipe or two and were more generous with utensils (forks, knives, and spoons)! Service & Atmosphere The shop is efficient, featuring a kiosk for ordering and a display screen with announcements to pick up your order by number. There is a restroom available on-site. Clean interior, parking available for free in back covered parking structure, restaurant is large with some tables available for dine in, staff service was excellent, note that you can't edit matcha drinks online ordering but they are able to accommodate in person. We got the Bread Spot special banh mi and it was sooo delicious. One of the best banh mi we ever tried. We also got the Mangosteen Passion Fruit Tea and Banana Matcha Latte. The Mangosteen Passion Fruit Tea was very good with fresh mangosteen, however the banana matcha was definitely not as good. The matcha is not ceremonial and the banana is not fresh, it's artificial flavor which wasn't great for the price of $7. Lastly we got the Savory Sticky Rice - Xi Mn, my mom says it's good, but would be better if there were more greens. Overall, love this spot, amazing food and great service!!! read more

Tried this Vietnamese banh mi spot a few weeks ago and it was pretty solid overall. I got the spring rolls and sea salt coffee. The spring rolls were good, packed with a lot of meat and about 1.5 shrimp per roll, so they actually felt filling instead of mostly noodles and lettuce like some places. The sea salt coffee was decent too. It wasn't as strong or bold as other Vietnamese coffee spots I've had, but the flavor was still good and easy to drink. Service was good too. I was here on a weekday morning, and it was pretty quiet. I stayed for about an hour to study and it was a nice, calm environment to get work done. Would come back to try the banh mi next time. read more

Very cozy new banh mi spot. The staff is very kind and hospitable. I got the crispy pork banh mi. It's pretty good but definitely pricier than what you'd normally pay for banh mi (I guess that's almost everywhere nowadays thought). They have lots of drinks as well. Very friendly and happy service! The restaurant is clean, well laid out, and the menu is easy to read. We got the #1 dat biet sandwich and egg rolls to try. The outer skin of the bread is more hard-crispy than airy crisp, but the filling was super well balanced and delicious. It was all good together. This is a brand new banh mi place in 626. I was the first hundred that got the gifts from the business a cute bottle and bag that they gave on the grand opening. This place is located on Garvey blvd in the corner of a brand new building in Rosemead city. This place decoration is very luxury, bright, clean and neat in the gold and white theme. One of the best looking banh mi places i ever seen. I haven been coming back here for banh mi and other delicious dishes since they opened. All the staff are professional, welcoming and nice. My go to items: Roasted pork sandwich- super flavorful crispy skin with less fat roasted pork. Their banh mi is soft so it didn't hurt my gums from eating it like other places. Grilled pork banh mi - I personally think it's better than banh mi tho. They also give a decent portion and the meat and flavor are on the spot. I also love their chilling paste that comes with. Spring rolls/Nem rolls - big rolls with tasty sauce. Savory sticky rice- they gave decent portions and super tasty. This will for sure keep you full! Bucket tea - they give out so much toppings and their tea is quiet strong with to my liking. This drink can be for two people to share. Coffee - strong and tasty. Been coming here for the 3rd time, and we are loving everything we've ordered so far. Bread Spot has friendly staff who can speak fluent English and Vietnamese. Very clean place and plenty of seatings. The drinks and food are also very good. The banh mi are loaded with meat. Price is reasonable. This will be our spot when we need a good drink and food and we don't feel rush. read more
SGV has always been Asian food central and another banh mi spot has joined the community. My boss got us this for breakfast but we didn't get a chance to eat it until late ish lunch since we were busy. Quality was there! They did not skip on flavors and for my personal tastebuds, the bread assemble was perfectly seasoned/putted together. The fact that this is a crispy pork banh. It was not too salty because I had that experience elsewhere. Every bites, you'll heard the crunch to the crispy pork or the veggies. Fresh ingredients! Bread wasn't as flaky at the time we ate it but at least it wasn't stale or anything else. Seen sign for place before they open and I'm glad they did. Was looking for a place to get lunch in the area and came across this spot on yelp. The worker at the counter was friendly and helpful. The vibe is also nice, music isn't loud and there wasn't much of other noise so its a good choice if you're looking for a casual lunch or to eat and read. Food was good, I liked the crispy pork banh mi that I got and the matcha latte wasn't too sweet. Was also given a free viet milk coffee with my purchase as it's their soft opening currently. New crispy pork belly banh mi, drink and dessert place in Rosemead. Everything was delicious and they even offer to cut your sandwich in half. Just a heads up, they do add fresh scallion to sandwiches. I got the mango passion fruit with zero sugar and it was super good! Hubs got the tub of tea and it was fun! The matcha milk tea was good, not too sweet and we enjoyed all fun pudding add ins. Then we also ended up getting cookies cuz someone is a chocolate chip Cookie Monster! The Vietnamese Coffee cookie stole the show though! The cold desserts were perfect for today's warm weather! Check them out! A great selection on their menu! Was craving banh mi on a rainy Monday so on Yelp I went. The bread spot popped up so I decided to try it out and so glad that I did. I tried the meatball banh mi and also the dac Biet special banh mi. They were both super flavorful and the baguette was fresh! My favorite had to be the dac biet, flavorful and meaty with a bunch of veitnamese mayonnaise, NOMM! Customer service was great and love their packaging as well! Hubby and I decided to check out this new bread spot located where Yotea used to be. The place is new and modern looking, definitely not your traditional old-school sandwich shop. The staffs were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the crispy pork sandwich, grilled pork sandwich, bucket milk tea, and soursop tea. Crispy pork sandwich (3/5): Good flavor, but the pork had a bit of a stinky smell. Grilled pork sandwich (5/5): Very flavorful and definitely the highlight. Bucket milk tea (4/5): It was good, but nothing too special for $12. Soursop tea (2/5): Unfortunately it smelled a bit like soap and was too sweet for my taste. Overall, not bad. We'll probably come back to try other items on the menu. The only downside was that it was really hot inside. There didn't seem to be any AC or air circulation. Next time we'll most likely order it to go. read more

This place is very nice very modern looking. Their staff is very polite and professional. I was so pleased on how they handled my cancellation on a large order due to some emergencies and without question they gave me full credit. I will definitely be going here more than any other place for Bahmi sandwiches. read more

I recently tried these drinks and was very impressed with both the flavor and the creativity. The beverages were delicious, well-balanced, and enjoyable. The toppings were especially eye-catching -- beautifully designed and equally great in taste. One suggestion I would offer is to consider packaging the toppings in a separate container rather than placing them directly inside the drink. When submerged, it was difficult to fully appreciate their visual appeal, and the liquid altered their original colors. Additionally, the cups were filled to the very top, which unfortunately caused some leakage. Overall, the concept is unique and the quality is excellent. With a small adjustment to presentation and packaging, the experience could be even more refined and enjoyable. read more

On the corner of Garvey and Earle. It's in the same building as Yo Tea. Unfortunately, Yo Tea closed down :( Same parking lot though or park on the street. Service was good. Like that it's new and clean. Hope they keep it that way. FOOD: Grilled Chicken Sandwich 5/5 Our favorite. We both thought it was good! Bread Spot Special Sandwich 4/5 It was alright. Nothing wrong with it, but not stellar or great. It's not exactly your traditional Vietnamese Special Sandwich. It had pork floss in it. I'm okay with it, but it's definitely different than the standard Special Sandwich. Overall, it wasn't that special or "wow". Edible. Spring Rolls 4/5 3ct. Not bad. Consists of shrimp, pork, veggie and rice noodle. It comes with one cup of sauce, but felt like it wasn't enough though. Looking forward to try other sandwiches like the Crispy Pork. DRINKS: Sea Salt Coffee 4.5/5 $6.50. Not bad. Kinda liked it. Would order again. Special Milk Tea 4/5 Bf liked it. I thought it was ok/fine. Flavor is decent, but $7.50 for a basic milk tea with no topping is kinda up there in price imo. Could easily get a decent milk tea elsewhere for cheaper. read more

The food is good, not great. I wouldn't go out of my way but I wouldn't mind going back. We got banh mi heo quay, banh mi ap chao, and garlic and butter fried chicken wings to eat there. We also got the banh mi thit nuong to go. The banh mi ap chao does not look like the picture on the menu if you want to get that. The drinks were good. We also got the oolong milk tea and jasmine milk tea with boba. The boba wasn't fresh but not old either. The staff are very kind and the restaurant is clean. There is a good amount of seating in the restaurant if you want to dine in. It does get a bit packed during lunch rushes. There is a parking garage in the back and it's spacious. read more

Excited to try a new Banh Mi spot in town. Very clean and modern. Plenty of spaces for big groups and families. I got Shrimp and Pork rolls, jasmine milk tea, and 2 Banh Mi Dac Biet (#1). The rolls were fresh and tasted great. Jasmine MT was strong and good as well. Banh Mi was good for the most part and I liked that they added spring onions and cha bong. However, the mayo/spread and cha bong they used were very sweet. It throws the taste of the Banh mi off. Hope they consider adjusting the sweetness. Will return to try other the other banh mi and milk teas they have. read more

New opening in Rosemead! The atmosphere and interior décor are very nice--definitely gives off a Pasadena-style brunch vibe. It's especially inviting after an early morning walk. The front staff were very helpful and kind. I ordered the bánh mì đặc biệt, and in my opinion the fillings were good. I'm excited to come back and try other bánh mì options. Right now, they're offering a promotion where you get a free Vietnamese iced milk coffee with any order over $10, which is a great deal. read more
