Girlfriends and I went out-n-about in Coronado and found ourselves craving burgers and fries! It was both my friends' first time here so I was stoked for them to eat some fine burgers. It was packed that day (4/16/17) most likely because of Easter, so finding a table was somewhat of a STRUGGLEEEE -_- My friends both ordered The Lounge Burger while I ordered their Classic; we also shared their fries and onion rings. I've been to other Burger Lounge locations and my past experiences with their food has always been fantastic. This visit was not an exception to that! My burger patty had a hint of pink to it (just how I like it!) and was JUICYYYYY. Without a doubt, it was super yummy! Two critiques: the fries could've been crispier/more fresh; secondly, the price that we paid versus the size of the burger was kind of a slap in the face. The portion is perfect for me but, if you want your money's worth (aka a bigger burger), this might not be the place for you. Either way, I genuinely like Burger Lounge and enjoy coming here from time-to-time. I am definitely looking forward to future visits and future burgers with them! read more

I ordered a burger which had cheese and at 11:00 am they were out of cheese! Then it was supposed to have pickles and secret sauce?!?! One -two pickles and a dollop of spread of sauce?!!!! I've been to this and many other burger lounges before but decided to right a review now because this meal really hit the spot. I came in around 4pm to a surprisingly crowded place. There was a one or two minute line. The cashier asked me if I wanted a water while I waited, which was exactly what I needed on this hot and sunny day. I ordered a turkey burger with grilled onions (game changer). Get the grilled onions, you won't regret it. Despite the crowd, I received my food within 7-8 minutes and was even later asked how I liked my meal by a very enthusiastic worker. I believe it came out to a little over 8.5$ which isn't not bad for a burger. I wouldn't hesitate to come to this or any other burger lounge location again. This was a great place for takeout. We stayed on Coronado island for a few nights and our hotel didn't have much in the way of food for kids. We were very happy to find burger lounge which had options that the whole family enjoyed. From chicken nuggets, to burgers, to even fish sandwiches. Everyone was happy. On Coronado for a couple hours and decided to stop for Linux h at a place that everyone in the family might like. Stumbled, literally, on the Burger Lounge. The menu is super simple but they do have lots of options to cater to specific dietary needs-- vegan, gluten free, meatless, quinoa, lamb, chicken. etc. I'm a fan of real beef and Gluten, so the burger was calling my name. The only problem was choosing which one. I opted for the Husky (it's a double) add bacon. AMAZING. Grass fed beef was on point. Everyone loved the burgers, chicken tenders and chicken sandwich also didn't disappoint. the fries were fresh and delicious, but the onion rings were by far the best we've had in a long time. Perfect crunch and batter to onion ratio. I'm not a huge fan of organic/craft sodas, I'd rather have a coke with a burger, but that was the only negative for me. If I'm ever back on the island or in San Diego, I'm definitely hitting this place again. read more

We love this location although it's a small space very limited seatings but because there are lots of things to do in Coronado city. For me BL is the winner! I usually love to order the small fresh veggie salad with an Alaskan cod fillet or the albacore. The fresh salad is deliciously made tasty and not boring it has fresh ingredients like the romaine spinach tomato cucumber corn red onions jicama carrots n feta cheese. Loved the house lemon Basil vinaigrette. Amazingly yum! Hubby loves the kale Caesar salad and the grassfed bison burger or the Classic with pickled onion Gorgonzola n garlic aioli wow tasty burger ever! Kiddos usually gets the BL kids meal with organic cheese and the applewood Bacon nitrate free! I highly recommend the free range turkey burger and of course organic quinoa Veggie burger ! The burgers are great, usually pretty juicy, a solid taste, with good ingredients. It is a little pricy for what you're getting, but still worth it. The time spent waiting is usually about what you would expect given whatever circumstances there are. The fries are 3.5/5, they're ok and a little pricy. We used to be regulars here. Today, after waiting over half an hour for our "fast food" lunch and needing to get back to work, we asked for a refund. They appeared to be busy with on-line orders taking priority over walk ins. The manager grugingly issued the refund. She still charged us for the fountain soft drinks (I might have expected an accommodation on those, but hey, that's just me) and COULDN'T REFUND THE TIP we left when we initially placed the order. The burgers are great, but obviously they aren't staffed, or the manager doesn't know how to staff, for more than two customers at a time. You have to remember, you do not always have to purchase a burger when you visit the B. Lounge. For example, you can always order one of their fantastic salads, and if you are in the mood for some protein, just add some! I added one of their terrific basil filled turkey patties. I ordered the Romain-Kale salad for $7.95 and then for $3.95, I added a seared turkey patty. The salad was great and came filled with a lot of great ingredients, such as, crisp Romaine Hearts, tender Baby Kale, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, crispy thin Sweet Potato Shoestrings, and a flavorful House Made Creamy Caesar dressing. The romain and kale were both quite fresh and crispy. I appreciated the younger kale they used to ensure tenderness and quality flavor. The Parmigiano-Reggiano had that great salty and nutty element and the sweet potato strings were very crispy and mildly sweet, but best of all, they added a very nice texture to the salad. The dressing was just right. It was not abundant, as to let overwhelm the salad, but enough to let you know it was there and gently coated your mouth surroundings. Its flavor was not to shabby as well. Good stuff indeed. The turkey patty, may of been on the thin side, but it sure was delicious, and not to mention it have a great gentle sear. The sear give the turkey patty a nice little crunch here and there, but was very tender and moist for the most part. It's flavor was among some of the best turkey patties I have experience to date. Well worth the extra $4 indeed. So, if you are ever craving a salad, check the B. Lounge out, because they will certainly set you up with a good one. read more

While on a recent trip with my wife and friend of ours in Coronado, we decided to try the burgers at the Burger Lounge. After looking at the menu my wife got excited by the fact that the Burger Lounge uses only grass fed beef for their burgers. She had been previously telling me she wanted to start eating grass fed beef as an alternative to the hormone riddled meats I am accustomed to. I was a bit reluctant at first but I decided to give the place a shot and see what it's about. They have several burgers on the menu to choose from as well as turkey burgers and chicken tenders. I ordered a burger as well as an order of onion rings to share. The burger was very filling and tasted pretty good (it does taste a bit different for the first few bites but you get used to it) and the onion rings were great as well. All of the ingredients used for the burgers are organic and healthy which is new for me. The restaurant looks small but has a decent amount of seating inside to choose from as well as tables lining the walls of the entryway outside. The servers were very friendly and explained the menu in detail along which was nice as it was our first experience here. Like most of Coronado there is little to no parking outside on the street but you can easily find a close lot and make the walk over. It appears Burger Parlor has a few locations throughout San Diego and Los Angeles County but nothing in the OC where we live. Hopefully they will expand into the Orange County market soon as an alternative to the many other burger places in the area and to provide a healthier alternative to a classic. I would recommend giving them a try and would eat here again the next time I am down this way. read more

Yum! :) I have been to Coronado about 6-7 times now, but had not gone in about 6 months. In all the times that I had gone, I have never been in here. This time we took a trip with my husband and a friend of mine. We went to some normal spots and we did A LOT of walking. We originally had planned on trying out a place halfway home, but we started scoping what else was here. It was a toss up between here, the deluxe hot dog place, or probably going somewhere on the way home. When I looked at the menu outside, I was set. Everything was healthier, grass fed, and organic. I try to take that route more and more, but it's quite difficult in regards to price and even just finding the stuff. A grass fed beef burger with organic toppings for $7.95? I think yes! Both my husband and I got a Lounge burger which is a burger with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onion, and thousand island. I don't remember what tomatoes they were but they were good. It was kind of funny hearing all the options, but nice to hear healthy options. Grass fed beef, romaine lettuce, (not that unhealthy iceberg crap), tomatoes... then it was.. Do you want that with organic american cheese or organic white cheddar cheese? grilled onions or fresh raw onions? I ordered mine without onions as I am not a fan (but yet I eat onion rings). My husband got his without tomato or cheese. My friend ordered a turkey burger. I also ordered an iced tea. Passion or regular? What the hell. I went for passion tea this time. We also ordered a side of onion rings which came with organic ketchup, and we got ranch too. Onion rings were also delicious. Hearing the words fresh and organic left and right was a refresher for me. I felt like I was eating something normal. The taste is different too, a taste that I love much more. Some people complain about a smaller sized burger for 8 bucks with no sides, but honestly we were all stuffed from the burgers. It is very filling. You can also get a bison burger for a little extra cost. Service was very friendly, and they were quick to check and see if you needed free refills. I liked that. My con is that I wish they had locations in OC. Right now they have SD County and LA County. I hope that one day they will open one in OC so that I can visit much more often. read more

I remember the first time I went here and saw that there was a lot of people that are here and even in line outside this establishment. Me and my brother at that time was just curious so we went inside and just went with it. My brother ordered some burger and I just ordered a Chocolate Malt Shake. Let me tell you this, not a lot of the restaurants that i go to have malt and them and God knows I love Malt in my shake especially if it is Chocolate Shake. And guess what? THEY HAVE MALT! I was so happy when I got my shake and tasted malt in it and they actually put a lot. And I was very happy! It's just the little things, but in short, you should try it here. Worst fish sandwich and chicken tenders I've ever had, with the absurd prices BL charges you'd think they'd be able to change out the frying oil on a more frequent basis. Nothing worse than biting into fried food that has been cooked in old oil, very unpleasant. My brother and I ordered on the app before we got there thankfully but it was still a 30 minute wait. Every time I come to SD for a business trip the first thing I do is go to burger lounge. I absolutely love their burgers. The fries are very good too. I have to take away a star though because when you order "half and half" for fries and onion rings they only give you like 3 tiny onion rings and an order of fries.
