From the service to the food; everything was a wonderful experience. They are pleasant from when you walk in the door to when they see you out as you leave. The service was so prompt, they explained everything and made sure you felt as at home as possible. Drinks didn't have a chance to empty, they made sure everything stayed topped off. All the food was so good to us, one of the chickens was a bit spicy but in a very good way, it was our favorite of the 3 flavors they offer and the desserts were not only beautiful but also very tasty. Flan can be hit or miss at a lot of places but I feel they nailed it. I really hesitated on writing this review, but I keep seeing it being hyped up on social media and I wanted to put our experience out there just for some balance. So my husband and I saw this place on tiktok and it looked amazing. We love all the new "all you can eat'" restaurants that have been popping up lately and we're always down to try a new place. In this economy, who doesn't love an AYCE joint, amiright? The tiktok was posted Thursday the 24th of August and we got reservations for that Friday the 25th. My bad. I probably should have given it some time before going. In my defense their reservations were wide open for that weekend when I made the reservations. All time slots were fully open. I received my reservation confirmation email and we were excited. My husband and I had been practically drooling over the menu online and we already had things in mind we were very excited to try. So we get seated and the salad, and the potato salad is brought out, along with the cheese and honey dish and the fried polenta and parm. We finished that off fairly quickly. The portions here are not large. Most things brought out had 4 pieces of food per plate. So for three people, everyone got one piece of food per whatever the item was and then had to either split the last one or fight over it. I completely understand the small portions; with it being AYCE it's important to keep the risk of food waste low. After that we were brought out the fried cheese. Then the various chickens. The chicken was pretty tasty not like, spectacular, but it was good and I'd eat it again. At that point I mentioned to my husband that we were missing some stuff and they never brought out the bread or the soup. The bread (and accompanying spreads) was something I was really looking forward to. We mentioned this to our server and she says okay she'd bring us some. Asked if we needed anything else? Ummm the pastas? Isn't there supposed to be a bunch of pastas included? At this point it made me wonder if they were hoping we wouldn't realize we hadn't gotten a bunch of stuff? Anyway, there was a long wait at this point and then they start to bring out the pastas very slowly. As they come to the table we divide into three and eat (so each person can try them and get a forkful- again very small portions). They brought out three pastas total and then asked if we were ready for dessert. Well no, we still haven't gotten our bread or spreads or the soup and we've only tried three pastas. They ask what we would like; and they don't know what we've already received or hadn't gotten, so we pull up the menu on our phones and start requesting the ones we hadn't gotten yet. Plus the bread and spreads which makes the third time we've asked. I feel like a jerk at this point, and like I'm bothering THEM. Like we're the ones dragging this out. The whole point of their theme is that you don't have to stay on top of ordering because they're constantly bringing you out one of everything. The restaurant is busy, but other people have bread and soup?? They finally bring out bread- no butter, no spreads. Anytime we ask a server for butter or the spreads they disappear into the kitchen and they never come back around. If you're out you could have just told us, then we wouldn't have kept asking and wasting peoples time. The real kicker is that we were planning on shelling out the extra money for the picanha but everything came out so out of order and with such long time gaps between things that it threw us off and we completely forgot. At this point 10:00 (their closing time) is rapidly approaching and we've been here almost THREE hours. I tell my husband forget about the items we didn't get let's just have them bring over dessert and get out of here. Which I will say the dessert was very good. The staff seemed to be apologetic regarding our experience (we didn't complain or anything but we had to ask for multiple things multiple times which never came out and they were aware of this). Seems like all of the other reviews are very positive so I'm assuming we came at the wrong time. I would definitely avoid coming here if they're having a busy night. read more

The prices for the drinks seemed to be a bit lower than other places, and they were all very tasty. However, they accidentally forgot one of the drinks at our table, but they quickly rectified the situation. The meal format is a flat rate for dinner, and it comes with what seems like an endless train of food. The first part of the meal is bread and salad, served with three wonderful spread options. While the bread is delicious, remember that there is a lot more to come. After the bread, they brought out several types of appetizers. There was a chicken broth soup (very tasty), several varieties of cheese prepared in different ways, and all of them were delicious. Next, they brought out three types of chicken and several rounds of pasta. The chicken was all very good, with the spicy one being my favorite. All of the pasta was also very tasty, with the noodles being made in-house, and it tasted as such. For dessert, they brought out four different types, and all of them were very tasty. On top of the wonderful meal, the service was very impressive. They made sure we were always stocked with food, drinks, etc. They also did an excellent job of explaining all of the dishes as they brought them out. You can also get as many refills of anything as you want. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a different dining experience. My friends and I went to Casa Pollastro thinking that we would get to choose what we wanted to eat from the menu. We were wrong. We were given everything from the menu, making it quite a feast. We were impressed with the service - everyone was friendly and attentive. It truly felt like we were at home being fed by family. Everything we had was tasty but my favorites were the fried polenta, galeta, tortellini in broth, and passionfruit mousse. Make sure to pace yourself and leave room for the galeta which is the highlight of the meal. We also love how the business is family-owned and operated and came from Brazil. First and foremost, this is a must. There were several things I noticed throughout the meal that made our experience different than those around us, but the food was so incredible. Everything was fresh and bright and so tasty. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is outstanding. White linens and finely polished silverware and attentive staff. Drinks we got, the purple pineapple and the Italian margarita, were outstanding. Staff was a little overbearing at first, almost making it feel rushed for a moment and like we couldn't even finish a dish before they were asking to take it. I had about five bites left of my soup when one waiter asked if I was finished, even though I was actively eating it. When the main courses came, nothing was described to us, so we were forced to use the menu to try to figure out what everything was, as opposed to other tables we noticed each dish was being explained. We were able to figure it out but some assistance would've been nice. The desserts were so well presented and tasty. This is a must visit for sure. It comes in the traditional flavor, piripiri and Parmesan crusted. The traditional and piripiri were the stars of the night! The piripiri sauce was not overly sour like many places. It had enough of a sweet and sour and spicy combination which made it the perfect sauce. Chicken was almost fall off the bone, moist and juicy, so incredibly flavorful!! I hunted down my yelp profile to write my first review ever of a restaurant. Casa Pollastro absolutely blew me and my wife away. Easily the best bang for your buck in the city! The chicken was amazing, my drinks were quite good too. My wife is gluten free (not celiac) and they had many options to accommodate her, which we were pleasantly surprised to hear. The quality of the GF options were on par with other options. Service was amazing. Jack was attentive and made me and my wife feel very well taken care of. The rest of the staff made sure that we were taken care of, too. Overall, I hope more people stop by. It's a gem to have in the neighborhood. Especially with the price! Great easy date spot. There was a singer in the middle of the restaurant belting out lyrics with profanity in them, including several F bombs, while there were many families in the restaurant. Just felt strange overall, the food was very expensive for what the quality is. They kept saying everything was homemade as they were being it out to the table but it truly tasted like canned Boyardee pasta. Also, the servers wearing leggings and not actual pants was a major turnoff. They served a five course meal, none of which you choose yourself. And every single element was yummy. The service here was quite nice, however the food very hit or miss. To start, the small appetizers were all okay. During the appetizer portion, they introduce you to their 'honey' with their honey-drizzled cheese bits. It is quite apparent that the honey is not 100% real honey and is a high fructose corn syrup alternative. If you like it, it'll be okay. I am not a fan. The problem with it is they actually put this ingredient in some of their pasta dishes as well. And all but one pasta, is very sweet. Using the 'honey' and brown sugar. The chicken was good. And the deserts were all nice too. The flan was our favorite! Overall, I wouldn't really recommend the restaurant, because of overbearing sweet flavors for the pastas and using the honey alternative. read more

On Friday OCT 13 my girlfriend and I were searching for a nice place for dinner prior to going to a nightclub for a special night out. This restaurant was chosen based simply on the pictures shown on Yelp. As we entered the foyer we both commented about what a beautiful place this was. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were seated pretty quickly. All I can say is that this place was amazing. It was an awesome experience from the time we were seated until we left. Casa Pollastro is located just off the Dallas tollway. Upon entering the restaurant lobby and host stand, you see a beautiful waterfall wall. The dining area is large with some quasi separated rooms and the bar. Well decorated and nice vibe. We dined on a Wednesday evening and we're the only table for the first hour. Our server explained the concept - southern Brazilian with a focus on pasta and Galetos (chicken). The meal began with beautiful fresh baked bread and a tortellini soup, sops Capelliti. Bread amazing, tortellini firm but soft. Broth a bit salty. Appetizer/salad course was a fave. Fried & grilled polenta, fried pepper jack cheese, a Brazil cheese with honey, potato salad and green salad with a honey mustard vinaigrette that I want the recipe for. All were truly outstanding. The chicken course brought three varieties. The Piri Piri was spicy and delicious. The traditional was very good. The Parmesan crusted was a bit salty and dry. So many pastas- they make all pasta on site and you can taste the quality. The butter nut squash, bolognese and jalapeño poblano pastas were our faves. Some of the cream based pastas were a bit heavy for our taste but were delish. Desert course was fun! Mousse de Maracuja with the passion fruit = outstanding!! Sagu con crema is loaded with warm spices, think spiced or mull wine flavors. Loved it. The chocolate mousse and flan were also really good. Service was great. In fact maybe too attentive! What an experience. We came here Easter Sunday no reservation nothing. They seated us right away, the place was getting busy too. We came right after mass at noon right when they opened. The service was impeccable! So much attention to detail and there was always someone watching carefully to see when your down with a dish so they can keep it coming. We got to try everything they had to offer. My favorite was the soup. Very flavorful, and the Brazilian limeade it was spoon heavenly first time having it, I lived it so much I googled how to make it at home pretty simple but soon indulgent. All the pasta dishes were good, just very rich and cheesy, but hey, that could be your thing? The roasted chickens were cooked perfectly. Our favorite was the garlic parm one. There's no need to get the regular one. It's really bland and just rotisserie. We tried all the dessert and I liked the passionfruit one the best. Creme brule was a bit sweet. One complaint is that they include $3 for a to go box for some left over. Understandably this may be done to deter the free "refills" but this add on should be disclose by the waitstaff nevertheless!
