Need a break after your 90 minute wait before/after dim sum at Seafood Cove II (upstairs)? Ready for drinks after shopping at Asian Garden Mall (across the street)? Use a boost after A Dong supermarket shopping (a few doors down)? Head straight to Chill! Absolutely the best Einspanner Matcha in town. The sweet cream on top is so good, you will not want to mix it (so you get a taste with every sip). I was lucky to catch the owner/matcha expert Trang in the shop on my visit this weekend; she's amazing! Teeny shop with some comfy sofa seating if you can grab it. Parking in this plaza is a challenge, but don't give up. It's so big, and so much is going on, there are as many people leaving as coming. Don't sleep on this place -- absolutely the friendliest and tastiest boba shop in the OC.

Was in the area pretty late on a Friday night and wanted a matcha but everywhere else was basically closed except for this spot. Parking wasn't bad and I was quite literally the only person in the place haha. But the guy who took my order was super chill and efficient and I was in and out of there in maybe 3 minutes. The menu looked super good but I was basic and got a double matcha. All drinks are made with oat milk (for my fellow lactose intolerant peeps). The drinks are a great size for the price imo and it was high quality and very tasty. I'm super impressed!!!

Vibes were positive but the drink itself was way too sweet. I asked for less sweet but it was still really sweet. The matcha itself lacked depth but that might be cause it was overpowered by the sugar. In my opinion, this place is more vibes than quality. Having said that, I'd still be down to try again...it's an okay spot to chill at.

Chill Coffee is such a welcome addition to the area, especially because it's one of the few boba spots open early. Sometimes you want something other than coffee in the morning, and this place absolutely delivers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with comfortable seating, great music, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Everything feels thoughtfully curated without being overdone. I ordered the Lychee Oolong Tea, and it was incredibly refreshing. The tea flavor came through beautifully, and it wasn't overloaded with sweetness like so many other boba drinks. I also tried the Pandan Matcha, which was perfectly balanced. The earthy matcha and subtle pandan complemented each other so well, and again, it wasn't overly sweet. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back and am so happy to have an early-opening boba spot in the neighborhood.

Happened to talk by and saw that they had one of my favorite flavored coffee: pandan coffee. And it meant my expectation, creamy, rich, and strong with the delicious pandan taste.

Located across from the Asian Garden Mall, with tons of coffee and tea shops in every corner, chill coffee stood out to me since they have a variety of matcha and coffee. To my surprise, coffee was strong, smooth, and rich. Matcha was perfectly balanced with milk and matcha ratio. I also loved that it came in a 24 oz cup for about $7. They also have a an option to add as much espresso free of charge. I love strong coffee, so I don't know about adding an additional shot. Probably if anyone wants to stay awake all day and night. The staff that took my order is very friendly and helpful. He knows the menu very well, and can adjust to your preferences.

Service was very attentive and friendly. Boba tasted like mochi balls. Got three drinks and sweetness level is pretty good. I got half sweet so drinks were not sweet at all. Milk tea is good. Not too much milk and not ok much tea. Lychee green tea is average. Not premium but decent snd refreshing.

Tried the kumquat honey lemon tea from Chill Coffee and it was actually really refreshing. Got it less sweet, which was definitely the move -- still has a nice natural sweetness from the honey without being overpowering. Flavor-wise, it's bright and citrusy with a slight bitterness from the kumquat, balanced out well by the honey. Doesn't taste artificial or syrupy like some places. The passion fruit puree with seeds at the bottom adds a tangy punch and a little crunch, which makes the drink more interesting texture-wise. Portion size is solid and feels worth it for the price. Overall a good option if you want something light and refreshing instead of a heavy milk tea. Drink came fast, friendly staff. I'd get it again, especially on a hot day.

We decided to try this place while we where waiting for our table for dim sum. We really enjoyed our drinks here. Both drinks were absolutely delicious. Our drinks were on lacking in flavor at all. The service was excellent and fast. This is a cute spot to sit and relax and enjoy your drink. The price was not bad either $12 for two drinks. We definitely will be back to try more. read more

Tons of coffee spots are popping up in OC almost every week and I love trying out all of them. Some are a hit and some are a total miss but its always nice to see how people like to change things up to be different. The drinks here are good. I got the matcha and it was surprisingly very good, My husband got the egg coffee and while strong was also very good. We also tried a tea, the kumquat tea and it was so refreshing. They also play good music here. Felt like I was at a club in Vietnam. Parking - HORRIBLE but if you frequent the area, you already knew that. read more

Cute and intimate coffee shop. Not much seating and in an extremely busy shopping center. We were on a 45min+ waiting list for dim sum upstairs on a Saturday morning so this little coffee shop was a welcoming reprieve. I am so glad I found this spot! We got the pandan matcha & the double matcha. They were only $7 which is pretty good compared to what other cafes are charging, and the size is pretty big too. The double matcha has a very strong flavor and the perfect amount of creaminess. The pandan matcha is sweeter with a perfect balance of matcha and pandan flavor. I would say it is probably one of the best pandan matchas I have tried. The service was excellent as well. Shoutout Tracy because she was so nice and gave us great recommendations. This is also a perfect spot if you're looking to study because they have a good amount of seating options, they are open late, and I believe they sell all matchas for only $6 after 6pm! I can't wait to come back to try their other matcha flavors! read more

new spot of the week! chill coffee is right across Asian Garden Mall in a busy plaza but parking wasn't too hard to find. vibes were nice and staff were friendly when i came. somewhat limited seating areas, especially for groups. i got the double matcha since it was one of the top drinks! already comes with oat milk which was awesome. first sip reaction was that it was pretty good! you could taste the matcha and the foam on top was yummy but it wasn't super strong. the only thing is that it didn't survive throughout the day (got watered down and matcha taste was nonexistent after a little awhile) unlike some others. overall, still good and i'd come back to try another drink from their menu! read more

Chill Coffee in Westminster is my new favorite spot for unique coffee and tea drinks! I ordered the Salty Cream Coffee (+1 shot for free) and the Salty Green Oolong Tea. Both came beautifully layered and tasted even better than they looked. The Salty Cream Coffee was bold and creamy with just the right touch of saltiness that cuts through the sweetness -- super addictive! The extra shot gave it a nice kick without being bitter. The Salty Green Oolong Tea was light, refreshing, and had a lovely subtle floral note with that signature salty cream finish. The shop itself has a bright, modern, and relaxing atmosphere with big windows letting in plenty of sunlight. Friendly service and quick prep too. If you're in the area and want something beyond basic lattes, this is the place. Can't wait to try their matcha drinks next time! read more

Found a new coffee and matcha spot in OC and had to try it! All their matcha drinks come with OAT MILK! Loved the matcha and Viet coffee drinks here. They were very creamy and packed a punch! I recommend trying signature phin coffee drinks! That first sip got me wired lol. If you want a caffeine free alternative, I recommend the Tiger Mochi Boba! Their boba mochi was goood! It was like a mochi like texture, not the typical boba pearl balls. The best part is you can add more shots of coffee in your drink, no charge! Service was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful with tips on what to order for my first visit. They have a few tables inside. Nice little decor on the wall. read more

I came by on a weekday around 2:30pm and there was no line. The shop is nice and clean, however pretty small inside. I ordered the salted Vietnamese coffee . The young lady who took my order asked me if I like to make my coffee sweeter as their coffee tends to be bitter. I appreciate she mentioned that to me before making my coffee. My coffee was still considered bitter for me however drinkable. May come back if I am in the area. Parking is ok on weekdays, maybe tight on weekends. read more

Nice little spot tucked underneath Seafood Cove 2. Service was great, the drinks came out quick, and everything tasted really good. Chill Coffee was founded in 2025 by two best friends with a shared dream: to craft the finest coffee and matcha drinks in the heart of Little Saigon. One co-founder moved down from Portland, OR to turn her vision into reality, while the other has long called Orange County home. Meet the Business Owner: Tracy N.

Tracy’s journey began in Saigon, Vietnam, where she grew up with a love for crafting drinks for friends and family. From soda pops and lemonades to coffee and tea, her passion for beverages was evident from a young age. After moving to the United States, Tracy spent most of her life in the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon. In 2019, she opened her first boba shop—and within just a few years, launched a second location, building a loyal following and gaining over five years of hands-on experience in creating delicious boba tea drinks. In 2025, Tracy made the move to sunny California, inspired to bring her beverage-making talents to Orange County. With a deep commitment to quality and creativity, she now focuses on perfecting her coffee and matcha offerings—drinks designed to spark joy and bring a smile to every customer she serves.

I especially want to highlight the owner, Trang. She was incredibly caring and took the time to help me choose the perfect coffee. Very cute coffee shop in the heart of Little Saigon Bolsa. They are located right underneath Seafood Cove, across the street from Asian Garden Mall. I've tried many of their coffee drinks and matcha series. My favorite are the egg cream brûlée coffee (less sweet) and matcha with vanilla cold foam (less sweet). Their coffee latte is super good and on par some of the best coffee shops in the area. You can pick Vietnamese coffee or American latte for the coffee base. You can ask them for extra coffee shots with no additional charge! Their matcha drinks are amazingly good. I drank 4 cups in the last 7 days. I've came here multiple times and the matcha here always hits! My go to is the salty cream matcha (very airy and that hint of saltiness really brings the matcha together ) The service is always really quick like 5 mins max! The Salty Cheese Boba is really good. The sweetness and the saltyness does not clash at all. Served the food really fast even though there was only one person that's working.
