Amazing food, beautiful restaurant. Ricky was very attentive, and quick. Definitely would come back. I might like the food more than Wagyu house. The buffet is bigger here

First time and the experience was 10/10. I got the Gold tier so I can try the A5 Wagyu. Nite the first 2 section of the gold tier: you can only order 1 order from each section and that's it. Then the rest of the selections within the gold menu is unlimited, on top of everything in silver tier. I was too hungry to take pictures and wish I could have take more pics. Overall the meat quality was top notch. The A5 melts in your mouth. And some other meat, the seasoning was really good with peppery taste. I recommended getting the gold tier. All the sauces were good as well. And the sides. The handroll sushi was great! And the tomyum soup was so delicious! They also have 2 different types of milk tea for unlimited drinks! And the matcha Mille crepe was so good as well! I love the decor of the place with manga covers and Japanese styles. Shoutout to our waiter Ricky for helping my group of 6 people cooking the meat. He was very accommodating and answer all our questions!

Last year we tried Wagyu House and ended up getting a membership. This year I was excited to try their sister location. Unfortunately, I ended up disappointed. The place is located right where Perimeter Mall is. I haven't been on that side in years, so I had no clue that you have to pay to park. No biggie. I went with two other friends. Initially, the told one of my friends that she could do the $35 special on her on, but once our time started they came back and told her she had to go with what the table is going with. Which I thought was the rule, but didn't know if they were slightly different than Wagyu House. The layout of the restaurant gives off casual vibes and is nice. There weren't a whole lot of ppl there. One of the reasons I chose the weekend is because of the seafood options. However, there were no crab legs or AYCE seafood options. That was my first reason for feeling like I got cheated because in the 90 minutes we were there, it never came out. The other issue was that the food we ordered didn't come out. When it did, all the food was not delivered to the table. We had to ask our second server for the food because the first server said she would check on it, but it never came. At the time one of my friends hit me with some crazy news and therefore I didn't make a big fuss with the manager. The Wagyu that came with our tier was absolutely delicious. Everything else was meh. To me I feel like we were cheated out of experiencing what we came for. Speaking with another friend, who went to the Duluth location the week before, and both of us agreed that Wagyu House was much better. I don't know when I'll give them a second chance, but I do believe in them having one.

Chubby Cattle coming to ATL was a huge win for the food scene. AYCE lovers, this place absolutely delivers. The service, management, and Chubby Cattle team is consistently great, and the food quality never misses. There are so many delicious options. You order most items straight from the tablet, plus there's a buffet area for extra goodies. The selection is impressive- Wagyu, a wide variety of proteins like pork belly, beef, steak, and more, plus some dim sum favorites, sushi, nigiri, curry (special shoutout to the rice machine, because yes, it deserves its own moment), dumplings, fried bites, a solid drink selection, and even desserts including some soft serve ice cream and bubble tea (without the boba) to finish strong. This location is in front of Perimeter Mall. The ambiance is another highlight. This Chubby Cattle location is spacious, perfect for larger groups, and has a fun, lively vibe. Walking in genuinely feels like you've been transported to another country- great energy, great atmosphere, great time. Pro tip: There's a set time limit for AYCE, so order strategically and keep an eye on when you can submit additional rounds on the tablet. Plan wisely and you'll leave very happy (and very full). Also, there's some paid parking right out front but you can park for free at the mall near Cheesecake Factory. Overall, Chubby Cattle is a must-visit if you love AYCE done right.

We came for lunch right at opening and opted for the Diamond tier. There's a 90-minute dining limit, so pacing matters. Mixing richer, fatty cuts with leaner ones is the way to go in my opinion. Standouts for me were the shank and the Australian wagyu, both excellent in flavor and texture and offered that rich-lean balance. Service was attentive and efficient, especially since we were one of the first tables of the day. I imagine things could feel more rushed when the restaurant is busy, but our experience was smooth and well managed. Located in the former Breakers restaurant space. Would return.

The service was great I really like how they changed the ordering into iPad and the sushi is freakin great dare I say better than meats even tho the meats were pretty high quality. The seats are nice and stoves are clean.

I love ayce bbq and went to try out this new restaurant that opened in perimeter! They have everything you can think of - sushi, all kinds of wagyu, dumplings, vegetables, slushies and more. I enjoyed everything we tasted! I am normally hesitant of buffet sushi but these were being made fresh and were very good! Some of my favorite meats were the miso brisket, short rib, and wagyu ribeye! They also had a miso soup and rice machine. The rice machine is so smart because it is way more hygienic than having to self serve/scoop out a container. For drinks I got a lychee slushee which was delicious. We also ordered from the bar the matcha peachtree which was my favorite - very unique taste of peach and matcha! The soju-rita and lychee martiniz were also good choices. I would definitely recommend this spot. Pro tip- to save $ try coming in the week day or for lunch :)

I love chubby cattle group. So when I saw this newly open place, I had to check it out. There is no tiers at this location. It's one price all you can eat. I like that you can grab your own meat as well so you don't have to wait for the servers to bring it to you. I love the decor at this location. It's a little different than the others as well. They also have manga lined up all around the whole restaurant. Do not open the manga books, please they are displays only. I noticed some of them were open. I like the idea a lot since sometimes when the kitchen is backed up, you have to wait for them to bring it to you at the other locations. I also love that this location has more variety when it comes to the side, dishes and buffet option. They actually have more desserts here and they also have a lot of different appetizers as well and the buffet. The only thing I didn't like about this location was you have to have a chubby group membership in order to get the more premium cut meats. I go maybe once a month and to a chubby group location. Maybe I should get a membership but usually at the other locations you can get Gold or Diamond tier and you can get Wagyu Otoro. It's one of my favorites and its melts in your mouth good. At this location, they only had regular Wagyu cuts, which wasn't bad, but I really like getting the diamond tier. Ever since my trip from Wagyu house I've just been blown away by the A5 Wagyu. I just can't eat normal Wagyu anymore. I probably would come here again for conveniency, since they grab your own option was nice. On days where I don't feel like walking definitely the other location.

So my sister and I weren't too keen on the traditional Thanksgiving meal this year so we dined on shabu shabu at Chubby Cattle at the Perimeter Mall today. I don't know what restaurant this used to be but they've transformed it into a hip Korean bbq spot. Inside is really nice, clean with urban vibes. Service was good. Whenever we got ready to put meat on the grill, our server was right there to assist. Our grill was changed halfway through the service to make sure we got great tasting meat each time. It was some of the best Japanese BBQ I've eaten, with tender cuts of wagyu beef that melted in my mouth. The AYCE bar with other pieces of beef and seafood plus Korean sides, soups, dumplings, drinks and desserts was plentiful. It was a delicious meal where I got to try some interesting dishes and spend some quality time with my sister for fun times and good laughs.

My friend found out about this place online so we made reservations in advance. Unfortunately, we were not able to stick that reservation time so I called when we were on our way and put our names on the waitlist. Even though they estimated a 45 to one one hour wait, we will get a table in about 30 minutes. There were plenty of tables available, so they must've been understaffed to be having people wait. We enjoyed a variety of their dishes, including the proteins, vegetables, soup, dumplings, sides, and the plethora of drinks. The quality was pretty solid, and the staff were as friendly as they're busyness would allow. Overall, we had a good time, but the expense is a little too steep for me to justify coming again. Cool environment, but I would prefer to return to a different Korean barbecue spot.

Skip the chicken skewer. The king mushrooms were great.

Dropped in today for lunch with a couple coworkers. Understand they're just shy of them being open and they had just started being open for "lunch". Imagine our surprise though when we found out there isn't really a lunch option, just straight up $60 all day dinner unless we sat at the bar and ordered something else (really wasn't well explained and until after we'd been sat). With the sticker shock behind us we went to work and largely was impressed with the offerings. It's obvious the meat quality is superior than just about any other ayce kbbq spots out there, maybe aside from their own top tier offerings at their other locations. While variety is good and I'm sure some ppl will appreciate it, it's pretty obvious the "also rans" are just there purely as filler. By that I mean the Chinese food section, the curries and stews, really didn't look very appetizing, and the couple bites I did try were very meh (salt and pepper shrimp for instance, just go for the cocktail shrimp instead). I will give credit to the vegetable bar for having fresh and varied things I've not seen elsewhere such as shishito peppers, king mushroom salad, etc. The dozen or so Japanese/sushi options were hit and miss, I enjoyed the seared beef and salmon nigiri, but the rolls were no better than sushi kingdom quality. Special shoutout to the Wagyu slider though, that was done surprisingly well and my coworker went back for seconds. Regarding the meat itself, vast majority of what they had and we tried were various cuts of Australia Wagyu, some lean some fatty and none we didn't like. Didn't wander much into the marinated offerings, or the fresh seafood, but looked to be plenty of options there as well. Overall, good spot and great service from John. I'd come back despite the higher price tag.

I'm literally obsessed with the quality of their beef, seafood, curry, and stews. Pure comfort food and impeccable cozy private booth vibes. Skip lunch and bring your empty stomach here for dinner. This is the best Chubby Group restaurant concept yet with more of a buffet. Jet is our favorite server here.

10/10 loved everything here. Trang was an amazing server and super informative. My favorite was the wagyu uni caviar nigiri as well as the wagyu wrapped enoki. The matcha crepe cake was wonderful. Big fan of the lychee slushee. Not to forget the music as well. The vibes were vibing for sure

Dip it in ranch or blue cheese and it elevates even further. This is the kind of dish you think about the next day. Pimento cheese wontons. 5 out of 5. Crunch on the outside. Rich, creamy, sharp flavor inside. No shortcuts here. Every bite is deliberate. Now the mains. Brisket. Tender, properly smoked, clean bark, fat rendered right. No dryness, no shortcuts. Ribs. Balanced, flavorful, cooked with precision. No falling apart mess. They hold structure, which tells you everything about technique. And yes, we ran the wings back again. That says enough. One miss on the table. Bulgogi salad. 3 out of 5. Not bad. Not memorable. When everything else hits this hard, average stands out. Ambience is dialed in. Casual but intentional. You feel comfortable. You feel like you're in the right place. This is not hype. This is execution. 5 out of 5. I walked in curious. I left impressed. I will be back.

Scammy with prices…read more I went to the ladies night and happy hour. The food and drinks were great but the wait staff didn't apply the discounts so I was charged full price. I followed up by email. They applied the discount but didn't readjust the tax or tip. I followed up with them twice and they ignored my email. They are keeping money that they wouldn't be entitled to has the waitstaff totaled the bill correctly. I also ordered a beer that was not on the menu. It was $12. The waiter should have told me about that when I ordered. Skip this place.
