Where do I even begin? I haven't been to Denny's in over 10 years, so I decided to give it another try. We ordered basic breakfast items (you can see in my photos), and the bill came out to around $45. The food honestly wasn't anything to brag about--it just didn't hit the spot for me. But the customer service made up for it. Our server, a young Latino guy with braces (sorry, I forgot his name), was absolutely awesome. He had such a great attitude and really made us feel welcomed. Would I come back? Yes--for the service, not the food.

Nasty, under cooked, Country Fried Steak & Eggs

The food was horrible!!!!!! If I can give this place a negative 0 I would. I order the country fried steak and it was horrible! The taste was unbelievable. I got the country fried steak and the inside of it looked like death when I cut it open. I also got Mac and it was hella watery! Wasted 60$ on this bs! It was under cooked, the side of biscuits was undercooked! Everything was just nasty and watery!

    busy kitchen at 11 pm!

Best Dennys yet. We arrived at around 11 pm to be seated with a surprisingly busy atmosphere. Our server Kimberly was OUTSTANDING - not only did she greet us with a warm welcome but throughout our dining experience we watched her juggle 6 different tables, the register, and to go orders! The chocolate banana pancakes were crispy and fluffy, with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg + hash brown + bacon on the side. The burger was phenomenal and actually matched how it looked on the menu - thick, juicy, and oh, so flavorful!

Per my 10 year old grandson, this place is amazing. He ordered chocolate chip pancakes and the premium chicken tenders for breakfast. He loved it. He also won a stuffed animal from the machine!! Highlight of his day! Lol! He said they were so yummy and tender and juicy. I ordered the grand slam breakfast. My eggs and pancakes were perfect, everything was hot and crispy, the decaf coffee was yummy. Our server (Melany)!gave us excellent service! It was busy because it was Father's Day, but they didn't make it seem like it was. Everything ran smooth, we were never rushed and she was kind and professional and remembered everything we asked for. Thanks Melany and Thanks Denny's! My grandson gives you a 5 star review! Happy Fathers Day!

All the ingredients are fresh. Well balancing... Especially brioche bun is premium. As Tap beers, we tried 3 different flavors, Indian ale, my mango, one more flavor...everything was great. $1 OFF for loyal members. My hubby likes the onion rings. Today was the same taste, super crunchy. We like the Stand because the service and quality are super. Next time we will be back for the movie. So close each other, Regal Edward's and the Stand. I can't say I'll go out of my way to eat here [in person], just because when I dine out I prefer a more traditional 'dining out' experience, but I certainly recommend it if you're in the area, and it will be on the list the next time I'm around and want to just chill with a burger and a beer with a friend or two. Pricing didn't upset me much - $75 for three people, which included two sides, a beer, a fountain drink, and a shake, in addition to our main orders. So, not bad for 2026. Big ups for the free pickle slices, too. :)

Good spot for groups. Service was very friendly including our server and the hosts. I was impressed that when they brought all of our food out, there were multiple servers and they knew which dish belonged to whom in our party of 5. They have a wide variety of menu options. I ordered the lamb burger because it's not something you normally see on a restaurant menu. It was delicious! Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food. Looking forward to going back!

All appetizers are $4 off-Whoo hoo!!! Muscles weee delish-in a garlic lemon sauce. The poke wraps were tricky to eat, as the wasabi inspired sauce was really runny...so they got really messy...but they were solid. It came with rice with soy sauce. All pretty basic ingredients. The dining room was nicely decorated- dark walls w oversized brightly painted art systematically placed. The dessert was disappointing. We love tiramisu..so we thought the pistachio tiramisu would be a fun take. Pistachio overload. No layers of flavors like tiramisu at all. The only nod to tiramisu were the ladyfingers. (Not smoked i. Espresso and served in. A cup. Definitely avoid that if you are craving a tiramisu. After we told the server this...he did say a lot of people expect it to be like tiramisu. (Knowing this, Not sure why he didn't give us a heads up)

I especially want to shout out Melissa, Justin, and Alberto. Their service is beyond exceptional, but it's how genuinely warm, personable, and welcoming they are that makes every visit so special. They always make my daughter and I feel like family, and that kind of hospitality is rare. We stopped by on Sunday afternoon. Perhaps due to the time, getting a table was easy, even as…read morewalk-ins. The available menu was the brunch menu. We started with appetizers: mussels ($23) and braised lamb belly ($25). For the main course, we ordered a ribeye steak ($69), Scottish salmon ($46), and "dirty pasta" ($36). Drinks included a glass of wine ($17) and a glass of Coke ($4.50). With tax ($23.15) and an "employee benefits" charge ($5.51), the total came to $249.16 before gratuity. The mussels are cooked in a broth of white wine, nduja sausage, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, and parsley, with a toasted baguette served on the side. I liked the overall taste of the dish, but the mussels were small. The braised lamb belly was an interesting dish, as it was served with kimchi and thin sheets of daikon radish on the side. I assumed the idea was to make a "taco" by combining the three components. I liked it, though the lamb had bit of gaminess which might not appeal to everyone. The ribeye plate comes as steak only, with sides available à la carte. The steak was cooked nicely--juicy and flavorful, though I was a bit surprised by how rich it tasted. The "dirty pasta" features large rigatoni, ground duck, ricotta, and sauce. It was good, and the duck made for an interesting change from the usual beef. As a complete plated meal, I think the Scottish salmon was impressive--both for its visual presentation and the taste of the meal as a whole. The restaurant floor has a split-level design. Upon entering, you'll find a large oval bar surrounded by tables and booths. Step down a level, and there are seats offering views of the Long Beach marina. This area with a view is protected by windows--which is good, as the marine air is often cool and breezy. It seems that nearly all the establishments owned by this restaurant group have names starting with the letter or word "A." When searching online, use the words "a pch restaurant," as "a pch" alone is apparently too vague a search term. A final note to management: I was surprised to see a $5.51 charge for "employee benefit" on our bill. I playfully asked our server what benefits this covered, but they didn't know. They mentioned it could be removed if I objected, but I chose not to. My point is, if you're charging diners, shouldn't your staff be able to explain it? And if the line item can be so easily discharged, maybe you shouldn't be adding it in the first place.

We came all the way from Santa Clarita and we're not disappointed. Past all the namebrand places by the aquarium and came here and we're not disappointed. No one was disappointed actually, we were surprisingly pleased with our selections. Sleeper items are the fried cheese curds by themselves. Make sure you get these. Also the onion rings are batter dipped. And beyond delicious! Only bummer is the drinks are cans, so if you need more than one drink, be prepared to pay for each can. The food was super delicious!!

I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.
