As someone who suffers from insomnia, I often go to sleep hungry. On the days I forget to eat, I stop by Dennys for my late night/early morning dinner. Ordering online is a breeze, but today I decided to dine in. I was afraid of running in to loud people but patrons and staff were courteous. My server Luis was helpful and friendly. Where do I even begin? I haven't been to Denny's in over 10 years, so I decided to give it another try. We ordered basic breakfast items (you can see in my photos), and the bill came out to around $45. The food honestly wasn't anything to brag about--it just didn't hit the spot for me. Our server Kimberly was OUTSTANDING - not only did she greet us with a warm welcome but throughout our dining experience we watched her juggle 6 different tables, the register, and to go orders! The chocolate banana pancakes were crispy and fluffy, with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg + hash brown + bacon on the side. Per my 10 year old grandson, this place is amazing. He ordered chocolate chip pancakes and the premium chicken tenders for breakfast. He loved it. He also won a stuffed animal from the machine!! Highlight of his day! Lol! He said they were so yummy and tender and juicy. I ordered the grand slam breakfast. My eggs and pancakes were perfect, everything was hot and crispy, the decaf coffee was yummy. Our server (Melany)!gave us excellent service! It was busy because it was Father's Day, but they didn't make it seem like it was. We ended up at Dennys last night because it was my son's birthday and that was what he picked and this is the state of Dennys. Based on the very few people at the restaurant I am going to say they are in a horrible situation and most likely are going to have to close locations or change their business model because I'm sure the cost of food and labor is really hurting them. Now let's get to the food. My wife got the fried fish plate and it was actually really good and the tartar sauce really made it. My son got the fire burger and some new sweet churro balls with icing filled with maple syrup and it was delicious (not blood sugar friendly) but really good. We ordered the chicken strips and season fries to share and the chicken was so over cooked it was almost burnt tasting and not really that good ( I could of complained but with how slow they are and can't fry something that simple I didn't want to have them try again) I ended up with a side salad and a double cheeseburger. The salad was good,cold and fresh. The dressing use to be better seems like they water it down now. The double cheeseburger was delicious. They really made a great burger this might be a future for them if they keep at it and make some tweaks in advertising to try and drive business. Would I go back again. Idk burger was good but it was also $19 yes I said it $19 for a burger so probably no time soon, unless it's the middle of the night and nothing is open. read more

Served with two eggs, hash browns plus two bacon strips or two sausage links." A crepe that comes with hash browns? Then eggs and bacon? Yes. My sugary breakfast dreams have come true. If you are craving something more proteiny, I recommend the Country Fried Steak and Eggs. It's "A chopped beef steak smothered in country gravy. Served with two eggs, hash browns and choice of bread." Food smothered in gravy that comes with hash browns? Yes. The Country Fried Steak is also a dinner and comes with "Two chopped beef steaks smothered in country gravy. Served with two sides and dinner bread." All those are great. I feel if you want a potato in different forms such as fries, mashed potatoes, hash browns, or seasoned red-skinned potatoes, no problem. There are a selection of omelettes that are tasty, pancakes of all sugary goodness, and dinners. Coffee is great and one of the best things: different flavored lemonades. Of course I stick with the usual strawberry lemonade and there are actual strawberries in the drink. I am curious what their mango lemonade taste like, but that's for another day. They also offer Arnold Palmers. I recommend this location since it's pretty big and I've only had nice staff when I've gone. The food has always been great and I've never had a problem. read more

My spouse and I went to this particular Denny's this morning. He had the avocado bacon burger while I had the double burger no cheese. We never had such greasy burgers in our lives. As soon as I bit into the burger grease came pouring out of my burger. If he hadn't warned me grease was coming out I would have had grease all over my shirt and pants. It poured on the table and in the plate. When I put the burger down on the plate the bottom bun immediately soaked the grease. The grease was also all over my tasteless fries. His burger was the same way and when he bit into his burger the grease came rolling down his hands. The waiter did not even once asked how the food was. Maybe he knew that their burger was greasy and tasteless. That killed any idea of eating at any Denny's again. You would think that IHOP would be the best as it stands for International House of Pancakes (a lot of people don't know this) but Denny's "healthy " whole grain pancakes are to die for! My family and I went around 11:39 am on 9/28/2025. I ordered the veggie omelette with hash brow on the side and toast. Since I am in the beginning stages of letting my baby taste the food, I opened the omelette for the veggies only to find a dark maroon thick hair. My husband and I didn't think that's what it was a hair at first; we figured out it was a pubic hair! After showing it to the waitress she said sorry and when she went behind the counter and told the other servers and I imagine the cook; the server with braces the guy had the biggest smile and when he noticed that I saw his entire reaction turned red in the face but kept laughing quietly around the tables by himself. The server offered to redo the food but I was appalled and felt that it was a knowing action towards the server. What people at restaurants need to know that they are a team and should behave to the satisfaction from A-Z so that families can return. I was kind to the server because she did a great job over all and it wasn't her actions that got me to leave this review. But ever since Covid and all the shut downs of places the cooks should be extra careful and sanitize their hands after using the bathroom. They are taking around 30 minutes through an hour just to get are food took 10 minutes to get are order and ate drinks.

Came in at 2:00 am after work, of course it was slow. Server / Host was no where to be found and took about 5 minutes to get seated. Sat down ordered coffee and about 10 Minutes later he comes with COLD stale coffee. I ask him if he has any HOT coffee and he says he'll make a new batch with an attitude. I also ask for vanilla creamer that they had the previous night and were out, probably just too lazy to grab some. There are tables with plates & food just sitting there with no one but myself inside the restaurant, this server is extremely lazy. He shouldn't have his Job if he isn't going to do it. They were decent workers when I came one very late night. Frankly I had a falling out with someone and after a time of emotionally processing and crying I decided I wanted to be somewhere safe at such a late hour and have a small dish to eat. When I came in I honestly looked very sensitive and socially pulled away. I didnt want to make eye contact. When I glanced at them, i saw they look toward me. It seemed like they wondered if I was under the influence of drugs or something. No I was just very sad, and I understand it was an honest mistake, but it honestly felt discouraging. Also Kind of felt overlooked, bc I expected someone to approach me with a menu, when someone asked what I wanted to drink and I said tea, i had to wait a long while again until I reminded another person that I asked for tea..... when I'm very discouraged I don't have a big appetite, I just don't, so only ordered two side dishes. Comfort food items, that are a fave of mine. Eggs and mashed potatoes. Waiter gave me a strange look... even though I clearly explained I am very sad and don't have a bit appetite but want to order something very simple. Im a tiny person and don't always need a lot... I'm glad i didnt order much, food was both very salty. so... quite honestly, it wasn't a great experience that particular night. Don't underestimate the Denny's Value Menu! I came by last night around 10pm. There was surprisingly a lot more people there than I expected, but we still got seated right away. I ordered the $8 Country-Fried Steak Skillet from the value menu---SUPER WORTH. A country-fried steak with gravy and two eggs on top of potatoes and peppers on a hot skillet. It's filling and super tasty. I was debating on either this or the Country-Fried Steak breakfast plate, but I'm glad I chose the right skillet! It's $4 cheaper, has potatoes, and is the same size steak as the other (My friend ordered the $12 plate). Another steal on the value menu is the $4 Shareable Sundae! Anyone else like to have breakfast for dinner? Whenever I get that late night feeling the only place I can count on within reasonable driving limits is the local Denny's. And my go-to BFD meal of choice is pretty much always the Grand Slam Slugger. This comes with two buttermilk pancakes, two sunny side up eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links along with hash browns or choice of bread, plus coffee and juice.
