Tried Dirty Pepperoni for the first time last night and was extremely disappointed with the service and experience. I was in the Long Beach area and decided to give this place a try that i've seen on tiktok. It was a Friday night around 9PM, not extremely busy inside but a good amount of customers. From the moment we got there it was a little chaotic. Very confusing system of where to order/ ask for a table to dine in or just get some assistance in general! We finally got helped and were seated at a booth table that was very small and crammed (definitely uncomfortable). There was only 1 waitress at the time and she was juggling more than 6 tables, so it was very hard to get assistance from her which led to the service being terrible. Our waitress was very inattentive, we only saw her when she took our order and gave us our food. No check ins at all we were ignored for our whole experience. Once we got our pizza our waitress did not give us any plates to eat with... which was weird because that's usually the first thing they give you at restaurants. But anyways, it was extremely difficult to reach her and ask for plates we had to get up and wait until someone at the bar could get us plates. We also ordered wings, which did not come out until almost 20 minutes after the pizza!!! Seriously ridiculous we had already basically finished our food and were about to cancel our wings but again like I mentioned it was so hard to get any assistance AT ALL!! Also, our waitress completely disappeared after we got our food we could not find her and there was no one helping out at any tables. A while after that a new waitress came in and started helping out people who were waiting to be sat. This waitress was even worse! She was terribly inattentive, rude and just in her own world. There was a table of guys which it looked like she knew and I kid you not she was at their table talking to them for the remaining time we were there. She full on was standing there chatting not doing her job bringing them out free pitchers of beer just hanging out.... Does anyone do their job here? We were not checked on or assisted at all! And it looks like we weren't the only ones, so many other people weren't being helped. Not to mention several people walked out that were waiting to be sat because of how inattentive and unprofessional they were! I've never had such an unusual experience like this. Very understaffed from the looks of it. Please don't come here unless you don't mind the lack of customer service and professionalism! The pizza itself wasn't bad. Very honey forward you couldn't really taste anything but the honey. I'd say a 6/10. The wings were burnt but they weren't too bad. I wouldn't get them again. Very disappointed in the service of this establishment. Extreme improvement is needed this was an awful experience. Definitely will not be coming back anytime soon at all!!! read more

After weeks of seeing this place on TikTok I finally gave it a try. I believe this place is fairly new. I showed up right at opening and a lovely lady greeted me ; who was also the server. Shout out to that lady who worked about 5 tables at a time. There was really good music playing . The booths seats don't have that much space but they give you a city view . So I order an 8 piece chicken wings . I tried to mix flavors but that's not an option so I decided to get garlic Parmesan . The wings are crispy just how I like them but they lacked the garlic Parmesan flavor. They had other flavors that sound really good like Korean bbq .Now the star of the show The dirty pepperoni pizza ; traditional pepperoni pizza with a hot honey drizzle. The venue has a great ambiance, the staff were very nice. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I ordered my pizza to go. It looked amazing, when I tried it, it was kind of a let down. So I decided to come and check this place out since it just opened and me and my family like pizza brought my son here for his birthday and the pizza was really good. It's oven toasted thin crust with good flavor, but the wings were no go for me. They were overcooked basically burnt and they just pour the sauce on top of it. as far as the pastrami sandwich that was a no go for me either it's not on your regular sandwich bread it's pizza dough that they make it with and they add ranch dressing on it not a good combo also as for the service it was OK you sit down they bring you your menus take your order and they're pretty fast. They didn't have salad and it's not a full bar and they only had limited beer available. This was a great experience. We got to sit outside and being from Texas, sitting outside in July and not melting is amazing! The patio allows for a view to see the world go by while in the shade. My friends and I just visited this pizza spot recommended to us in downtown Long Beach. Unfortunately, we were unable to sit inside because there was a big party reservation, but there was plenty of outdoor seating for us to sit anyway! The music is like 80's dance music, it was a vibe. The cashier and waiter were very nice. Decent pricing. They have an upstairs area but I didn't go up. My order took about 15mins. I got it to go. The personal was more than enough for me. I love how they gave me a really good amount of black olives. The pizza had a food flavor. Want too thick or too thin. Hey ! So I finally got to try the pizza next door to blind donkey , like literally after last call to be correct , First! The service was fast , who ever took my order was very kind , so many people were waiting for their personal pie , from what I know they don't do single slices , but it honestly worked cause I finished my whole personal pan , I ordered just a regular pepperoni pizza & towards the end I asked for the hot honey from everyone who said was good . Came into Dirty Pepperoni on the night of Game 6 of the World Series to watch the game and grab a bite, and I must say this spot definitely has potential to become a neighborhood favorite. First off, the space is beautifully designed with warm lighting, a modern look, and a cool energy inside. There's an upstairs and downstairs setup, and even though it was still their soft opening and the upstairs wasn't open yet, you could tell it's going to be a whole vibe once it's fully in use. Service was good and quick, especially for a soft opening. Everyone was friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We started with a Caesar salad. It was solid, fresh, and did its job, but nothing I'd specifically come back for or write home about. From there we split the Dirty Pepperoni pizza and asked for it extra crispy. It did not disappoint. Nice undercarriage with a solid crunch, good amount of pepperoni, and overall a very satisfying pie. But the surprise star of the night was the Dirty Pastrami sandwich. It was delicious and the perfect balance of creamy richness and acidity, super flavorful, and honestly not what I expected to be the standout item. Low key a must order. Overall for a soft opening the vibes and atmosphere were on point, the food was solid, and the service was on it. We ordered the prosciutto and pomegranate seasonal pizza for takeout. The crust was very well made and the ingredients seemed high quality. The prices were high compared to take out pizza but the restaurant (which was closed at the time) looked very vibey and cool! Next time would preferably go in for dine in but I think the pizza we ordered was among the more expensive items on the menu. The pizza here is a very thin-crust style, which I generally enjoy. I would have liked the crust to be just a little crispier, but it was still very good. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the toppings were generous. We ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple, and the combination worked surprisingly well together. The ambiance is one of the highlights of this place. The restaurant is located inside a historic Long Beach building from the 1920s that was originally a hotel. The space has since been converted into a few restaurants with a whiskey bar downstairs, which gives the whole place a really cool, historic vibe. It's a unique setting for grabbing pizza. Service was perfectly decent for a pizza spot--friendly enough and efficient. The only real downside is the price. They only offer two pizza sizes, medium and large, and the medium we ordered for two people was just barely enough. The medium pizza with three toppings was $32, a small salad was $11, and a fountain drink was $4.50. The food was very good, but that's definitely on the high side for pizza. Thanks to a great IG food blogger, we dined at Dirty Pepperoni tonight. I literally sent hubby one of their soft opening posts, took my long nap (I'm a nightshift'er), and when I woke up I was told to get ready to eat and this was where we were going! BTW... hubby and I are lowkey on this search for a cool pizza place hangout, so....... Parking is the usual Long Beach get-in-where-you-fit-in kind of situation. We parked in a lot around the corner and it was a 3 minute walk to Dirty Pepperoni. We were greeted right away, and were able to sit at a table within 5 minutes of being there. They have a fairly simple menu, which I appreciate. Good food shouldn't be complicated, right? It's their soft opening so we were told they're not serving alcohol at the moment, they're not serving the dessert pizzas, and they're not serving their by-the-slice menu option. I already knew the twins were gonna order just the pepperoni pizza because they're picky like that, and I was looking forward to trying their seasonal pizza and one of their salads. The twins did get their pepperoni, and we decided on the Linden salad that comes with black olives, red onion, banana peppers, and roasted red peppers and drizzled with Italian dressing. I'm not sure if the dressing is house-made, but it was delicious. We weren't able to order the seasonal pizza because they ran out of Brie cheese and pomegranate, so bummer on that. We ordered the Broadlind, which comes with red and green chorizo, bacon, red onion, and jalapeño. I've never heard of nor had green chorizo before, but it's really tasty! It's more herb-y and veggie-y than the red chorizo because of the cilantro and poblano peppers and such used to make it, apparently. They ran out of their regular ranch, but we were offered their Pink Sauce, which is their take on ranch. I think I heard our waitress say something about dragonfruit was added, I'm not too certain? We received our drinks first, then our salad, and then our pizzas. The hourglass decor on the tables are nice, and they run for 15 minutes. We received our food in a timely manner, according to the hourglasses. The twins made sure of that! The twins thoroughly enjoyed their pepperoni pizza, and they both took turns doing their cheese pulls, a good arm's length! They ate every part of the pizza, too, which can be a big deal. If they eat the crust, it's a darn good pizza! Hubby and I left one slice of our medium-sized pizza. You'd think with all of the chorizo and bacon that the pizza would be greasy, but it totally wasn't. The thin crust was perfect and crisp, when you took a bite the rest of the toppings stayed put, and if you're a pizza slice folder'er type, you can do so without the slice falling apart on you. We ordered the pastrami sandwich to go for my oldest son. He said the sandwich was "very good"! I didn't see any pickles, but I like how they also use banana peppers. Overall vibes were your usual chill and friendly Long Beach standard. There was a good mix of families and couples, everyone seemed to enjoy their food, the waitstaff were friendly and prompt, and every dining space was filled during our time there. We spent about $90 for 4 sodas, a salad, two medium pizzas, and a sandwich. I'd love to come back to Dirty Pepperoni! I was greeted by Mina who is a sweet heart who helped me find what I needed. I took my order and had a beer while I waited. That's when I met Kumari who is top tier at her job also has the sweetest soul, she put me on their garlic sauce that is top tier and is a must! This was my first time here, before this my favorite pizza in the city was "Thunder bolt" this has changed since. The crust top tier, the ingredients are the best, the pizza is the truth! Ingredients are of high quality and freshness. We had the Dirty Pepperoni, medium. Perfectly balanced mild spice experience with the spicy pepperoni and hot honey. Crust was perfectly crisp, and pizza overall had a slight char. Also tried the Dirty Pastrami and this is what absolutely sold me. Thinly sliced pastrami, nice and fatty. Topped with pepperoncini, pickles, mustard, and provolone, all nestled in a fresh baked pizza crust like bread that wraps around making for very little mess. This is the type of sandwich I'm going to think about regularly going forward. Doubling back, all in all this was an absolutely excellent experience, I highly recommend.
