We concluded our visit with our daughter by deciding to find a dessert place that served something with the popular Dubai chocolate. My wifey was in the mood to buy boba, but she found Domo Mochi Donut & Corn Dog on Yelp and decided to change her mind because Domo served Dubai Chocolate Smoothies. Domo also served mochi donuts, so drinking their tasty Dubai Chocolate smoothies and eating their yummy mochi donuts were the proverbial icing on the cake of our weekend visit with our daughter. Domo is located in Arcadia within a small strip mall. It's located in the same strip mall as Soonhee, CC Cake, Opus Sushi, and it's a few doors down from Happy Lemon. Parking is in a private lot, but I'm sure during peak hours, the lot can get packed. Domo is a small locale with about three black round tables that each seats two people and there's a few tables outside, so it would be difficult to have a large party hang out here. Inside, the color scheme on the walls are pink and white, the flooring is black laminate, the walls have a graphic of a partially eaten mochi donut, there are hung pics of the food Domo serves, and there's a small arcade game where you control a mechanical hook to grab prizes. The young man behind the counter was friendly and apologetic about our wait for the Dubai chocolate smoothies. Dubai chocolate is the new fad where businesses are trying to capitalize by selling chocolates and other types of food that incorporate this popular chocolate. Every time I visit a Costco, my wife tells me to look for Dubai chocolate that always sells out. When my family and I were talking about where we wanted to eat dessert, once I heard that Domo sold a Dubai Chocolate Smoothie, I told them let's see what this smoothie is all about. Besides this smoothie, Domo also sells mochi donuts, mochi churros, a few savory choices, and boba milk teas. For their Dubai chocolate smoothies, they sell two flavors, which are the Dubai Chocolate Smoothie and the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie. We ordered both flavors to see which one we liked better. We actually loved both flavors with Dubai Chocolate edging out the Chocolate Strawberry because the strawberry needed to be more pronounced. We loved these two smoothies because they were flavorful, creamy, the Dubai chocolate was generously intertwined in the drinks, the pistachio base was yummy, and the shredded kataifi were tasty as you took each sip. Take my advice and order some mochi donuts to eat with your smoothies. We ordered a pack of three with two of the donuts being Banana Pudding and one being Strawberry & Cream. The banana pudding was our favorite, but I really enjoyed both flavors. The icings of both donuts clearly tasted like their flavors, the donuts were fresh, they were finger licking, and I wished we had ordered more than three. We had a great weekend spending quality time with our daughter where she took us to some memorable restaurants. Visiting Domo was a first for all of us, but it won't be our last visit because we really enjoyed their Dubai Chocolate Smoothies and their Mochi Donuts. read more

Excellent mochinuts and Korean style corn dogs! Staff are super friendly and the shop is cute and clean. They're in their soft opening at the moment but are doing great. This used to be Chung Chun hotdog but they've been taken over by a new franchise (Domo). The menu is similar but with some new items and the quality is excellent. They also offer trendy Tanghulu, egg donuts, milk teas and Korean style coffees. We tried their Crispy Ramen corn dog and their Half & Half Potato corn dog. The Half & Half Potato corn dog comes with the top half as mozzarella cheese and bottom half as the sausage - all wrapped in a super soft and fluffy potato batter - it was flavorful with a lovely texture and the mozzarella was nice and stretchy lol! The Crispy Ramen dog was great too. Their mochinut flavors change weekly. Today we got their 3 for $7.50 deal and tried the Ube Latte, Mango, and Custard Pudding flavors which were all delicious. The flavors are prominent and their textures are wonderful - slightly crisp on the outside with light, fluffy insides that have that perfectly chewy mochi style to it. Very nice! Mango was my fave one and comes with a small piece of mango attached. Prices are about what you'd expect nowadays. They're in a good location in central Arcadia in a shopping plaza. There's plenty of parking but it's always busy and can be chaotic with tight spaces too so bring your patience. read more
