Anyways, I brought my car in for a wheel alignment and couple of other things two weeks ago. Although Terrell wasn't in charge of my vehicle, he was very kind to me and answered all of my questions. A week later, however, the wheel was tilting slightly to the left again. So I went in the second time to fix it and Terrell took care of everything. Dublin Honda and Honda Financial Services have given me the worst run around of any car manufacturer or dealer. First, I spent over an hour to speak to a Honda Financial Rep on their 1-800 number. That was fine I get more people are calling now than they would have in the past because of COVID. Unfortunately I was told they could not process my request over the phone and I needed to submit my request in writing. I was given an email address to send all my information to, which I did numerous times and did not receive a response. Still hoping for one after numerous emails and weeks later. So I went to Dublin Honda where I received the car and the specialist wouldn't even put his cell phone down to help me! He suggested I call the 1-800 number and when I told him my experience thus far he told me to send another email and then went back to texting on his cell phone while I stood there. My last idea was to use the contact email on the Honda Financial Services website. They responded in a few days, but said they couldn't help nor put me in direct contact with anyone who could. I needed to call the 1-800 number. Called the 1-800 number, and waited another solid 45 minutes to reach a representative, just to again be told they can't process it over the phone. I guess long story short, beware of Dublin Honda - once they have your money they're not going to help you. Not a fan of the sales guy. TITO PEREZ is his name. BEWARE. Horrible experience. The sales guy acted as if he was doing us a favor by showing us a car. Rude and short. We actually were ready to a car today. Not from this guy. Add to that we test drove the car and it was filthy. I don't just mean dirty. It had trash in the car. An orange Fanta bottle rolling around in the back seat. Certified pre-owned doesn't give you the excuse to have trash in the car in front of prospective customers. He says that someone from the dealership must have been using it for a few days. Well on their website it says the vehicles are cleaned before any test drive due to the pandemic. I SUGGEST YOU STAY AWAY. And to top it off, tried to bait a switch the deal. This is a car for my daughter. She filled out the online form to hold the price of $23,500. He walks up all flip and say well the website shows $25,000. Dude, you were already being a jerk. Add to that, try to bait and switch my innocent daughter. I'm heading to ANY other dealership to buy a car. Decided not to hide behind a review. We had a bit of a whirlwind week dealing with car dealerships from Modesto to Sacramento, that ended up leading all the way to Dublin. It was tough to find someone who not only gave fair trade-in value, but *actually had vehicles in stock* to trade for in the first place! Tito from Dublin Honda got in touch with me first thing in the morning after I left a very late night inquiry on their website. My wife and I headed up to Dublin from Modesto later that day, and things finally started falling into place. The trade was good, and though the EX we had originally planned to look at was sold, Honda qualified us for the Touring they had just received and at such a good rate we couldn't leave without it. Luis took great care of us in the signing, was very quick and thorough, and explained everything as he went without taking hours and hours. We were in and out in no time. It was the first time I've ever left a car dealership before sundown. The new CR-V Hybrid we chose was so fresh off-the-truck that they hadn't even had a chance to inspect it yet, so they let us take a 2018 CR-V home as a loaner for the night, including a trip to IKEA on the side. Beware of price gouging and very rude staff.................. I'm currently in the market for a hybrid car. I was online searching and made some phone calls to dealers. I spoke to couple dealers and they said that they don't add any dealer markup or market adjustment but since I live 3 miles away from Dublin Honda, I thought I would give them a try and start with them. I checked online and I was contacted by Mark Burda and he told me when I get there he will show me the car. When I arrived, I saw that they have a whopping $4,995.00 dealer markup! I honestly told Mark that if the dealer is willing to waive the markup adjustment, I would be interested but he was very rude and abrupt! He told me "The dealer doesn't discount the Hybrid cars and that is from management, have a nice day"! He said that in a very demeaning way! Wow............ Thank you Dublin Honda! Not going to lie I was NEVER in the market for another car was happy with mine. That change around end of 2021 and beginning of 2022. I knew market was crazy for awhile now but never thought anything until all these dealer hitting me up to buy my car. Fast forward to getting in contact with Dublin Honda because they have a 2022 Civic Sport Boost Blue 6 speed. This was the second dealer I contact for this car. First was San Leandro Honda but then sold it to SF Honda. So I talk to them and we agree on the price but then the stupid dumbass manager working at SF low low low ball my trade in and I told them you think I am stupid to give away 12k so you can make profit from me got mad got up and left. After this was is when I contact Dublin but the website gave me some crazy ass number for this car when I put my info in to get e-price. I was like fuck no and then Tito Perez email me but I didn't answer for like two days because I was salty from the price. But then I chill out and email him back to see if price was negotiable. We talk back and forth for couple days thru email and I called him too but we didn't get the deal done so I was like FUCK IT I am keeping my car. Then on 1/17 he called me to ask if I am interested still told him I was good because we won't agree on the deal and Ill chill out and let the market die down whenever that is. So I thought I was done looking for a car and buying one but out of the blue Tito text me on 1/18 and was like hey if you are interested please call me and we could work something out and get you the car. Then I don't know what got into me and I just show up to Dublin Honda and we sat down for about an hour or so and work out the price and my trade in value. Tito I want to give you all the props and appreciate your patience for not rushing me and giving me time to think and do a little math during our negotiation process. So everything work out great. I got a great value from my trade in and got a good price on the 22 Civic Sport Boost Blue 6 Speed. Oh yeah the finance manager was cool and got everything done so quick and didn't even ask me to buy any extra stuff and I like those finance manager when it comes to buying cars. Love the Express service here. I've actually used the regular service too and my experience with them have been positive too. Can't comment on the sales division. The Express service guys are just awesome and organized. You pull your car up, wait, they'll come out to greet you and get your information. I think I've gotten Shane the last few times and he's very friendly and helpful. Typically the waits are ~1-2 hours for an oil change, but there are usually a lot of cars getting serviced as well. I actually drive out to Dublin Honda to get my car serviced as I've had bad experiences at Fremont Honda Expresss service. They don't try to sell you anything you don't need and they aren't pushy about stuff, which I appreciate. I'll definitely keep taking my little Civic here cause I know they'll take good care of it. read more

If I could give negative stars I would....be careful with these shady scumbags. First off Manny sold me a used car with a busted hood latch, engine air filters that looked like they had never been changed in the life of the car same with the cabin air filters and to top it off a few days after driving it around my hometown to and from work the oil drain plug falls out and leaks all the oil out of the car...leaving me with a mess to clean and more work to do. When I contacted the owner Ken Harvey (who by the way gives no shits about his customers) he told me that there was nothing they could do about his own employees mistakes. They also kept hassling me to buy the warranty and all this other add on crap. These people are real sketchy I'd advise anyone who is thinking of coming here to please choose anywhere else but here. I made the mistake of explaining that it was for my wife so he just assumed that it was time to get his club for the baby seal until the artic wolf in me came out. Unfortunately it was a high end trim but we had some unforeseen events dropped on us. So we needed to purchase a new car premature. So I was evidently ready to bite the bullet and pay a lil more but Jesus Christ this guy was making second guess my self. He had 3 other deals going on so you know that was a red flag. Corona virus or not this guy seemed like that was no reason to sucker people into a car. The experience was so strange and distant. I just had a bad feeling especially when he said he was looking for a car for his wife and that was the car he wanted to get her. Lying or not that was the corniest psych out you could imagine. Ok so I guess he must've been telling the truth cause he was going to give me 3k below trade in value for my car. He says "Let's make a deal" I say "yeah right?! For who? You?" Scum. I say thank you and leave. I owe on my car I get it but I was looking to break even on a fair price maybe pay a lil bit neg but Jesus. 3k I'm the red then I have to put a bigger down to buy myself out it and for the new car. Funny. Then come next week they'll sell it for 23-25k. I did my due diligence to check the value on my car and sure enough I was getting screwed. I had 6k ready to throw down if they at least gave me 21-20k for my trade but they really came at me with 17k. I went to Hayward Honda and they were ready to give me 19.5k for my car. We just couldn't reach an agreement cause the color we wanted was all the way in Stockton and my wife didn't want any other color. Still way better experience. Mark B answered all my questions and sent me YouTube videos yo learn about my new car. No hard sell tactics. I hate high pressure sales. Mark was relaxed and focused on what was important to me. The car is a dream. So clean. Such cool features and styling. It's only my second new car purchase and my first Really Cool car. COVID safety meant I got to do the test drive alone which I preferred. The discussions with Tito in internet sales were pretty straight to the point, and it didn't take too long to come to conclusion. Of note, I'd like to add that there was no pressure when I came to drive the car and peacefully left after to think things over, overnight, which I appreciated. The staff seemed motivated to get me though the process without a lot of hassle. I've leased 2 vehicles from Dublin Honda. My daughter and my dad purchased a vehicle as well. We thought that we were getting the best deal receiving help from a "friend" however I won't be going back - we definitely didn't get any deals. 1. My lease payment on an Accord is almost $500 a month. I thought and was told this is the going rate yet I see advertisements for $200 give or take. I feel I was taken advantage of. The car I purchased was damaged when I drove it off the lot. The agent told me it was just dirt and the guys would clean it, when I drove away it was dark and I didn't notice it. The next day I realized it was actually damaged. It was fixed immediately however if the salesperson had paid attention to detail and thought more about his customer than the sale he would have noticed it was actually damaged and saved me a headache. Add in covid and I am stuck in a lease of nearly $500 a month for a car that gets driven maybe once a week to the store (not their fault but the cost is not worth the use any longer. I've tried contacting Honda Financial but their hold times are very long, you can't ever get through). 2. My daughter purchased her car with my mom yet somehow the same agent input all of my information so every time she receives a call about her car it comes to me. I've asked for it to be fixed but a few years in and I am still receiving her phone calls. It's annoying and had the sales person paid attention and to detail (again) this wouldn't be happening. Bottom line yes Honda's are good cars, yes cars are expensive but I feel I was taken advantage of during the leasing of this vehicle and I won't be back. read more

Been coming here for years to get my Honda Civic serviced and I must say one of the best customer services ever, no matter the person helping you out in the services department. For someone who doesn't know much about cars, they always explain to me the process and ask for permission before preceding if any other issues are found. I appreciate that they are not after my money unlike the previous dealership I used to go to. Today's experience also was great since today was my last visit here recently. Made an appointment at 8am and Jay took care of me. Since they offer rides via Lyft or their shuttle services to bring you places during the appointment, the location I need to go was not in range (since they only bring you locally), he made sure they work on my car promptly so I didn't have to wait till noon (expected time of finishing the vehicle). Regardless if it is an oil change and I go to the express service (first come, first serve basis), I never wait more than two hours. Which is so ideal since the previous places I gone for oil changes will make me drop off my car in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. If additional things are needed as well, they will call you to see if you want to get it done the same day so you don't have to come back again. The next day or couple days after the appointment, someone always calls me to make sure my vehicle is in good condition and ask if my experience in the service department went okay. I highly recommend this place because they really care about your car and you. I drive 25 mins each time just to go to them when I have another Honda dealership that is 10 mins because I prefer them better. read more

It's very hard to take a car dealership seriously, because of the sales tactics and scripts. So, it's likely normal to see bad reviews for a lot of dealerships. This review was well earned by the guy who couldn't tell the truth if he tried. The first lie was that they didn't have any accords on the lot w/BSI. When I pointed to the car in front of me and showed him that it had BSI he said, "Oh yes. We have a few accords w/BSI" and then started pointing them out. Finally, we got back to his desk and he gave me a ridiculous price. I was told by others that Dublin Honda prices their cars very high. They do. Anyway, I explained that we would be going to Auto Nation to buy the car, since it was much cheaper. He responded by telling us that Auto Nation doesn't sell new cars. Uh, I bought my car brand new at Auto Nation a few years ago and a friend recently purchased a new car at Auto Nation. Then he told me that is not possible, because Auto Nation doesn't sell new cars. At that point, I tried really hard not to laugh as I was getting up to leave. Then he said, "I told you that Car Max only has used cars". Who said anything about Car Max? The next day we ordered a car from our favorite guy, Satish at Dublin Toyota. The car came in much sooner than we anticipated and we had our usual great deal, no haggling. The service department failed to secure the skid plate after an oil change. Didn't notice until I was on 580. I did not know what it was, only that there was a horrendous scraping sound. Had to drive several miles to the next exit, called the service department, who said to bring it back. Had to drive all the way back with this thing scraping the ground. I was scared, REALLY scared, that whatever it was would cause an accident or damage to my car. Not fun. They bolted it back on. That was it. No "sorry", no compensation, nothing. I called the next day, but the service department did not pick up. Emailed the dealership but got no response. My car is in need of an oil change, but I'm never going back there again! read more

Really bad customer service. We walk in, and no one comes to greet us, even though there are a group of sales associates standing around. So we find someone to help us sitting as his desk, and he is not helpful at all - it seems he doesn't even try to answer any of our questions. He eventually shows us a car, but since it's raining outside, he just points to the general direction of where the car is, gives us the keys and sends us on our way - without even an umbrella! He says he'll follow once he finds the umbrella but never comes out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I'm going to spend money to buy a car, I'd want to be treated better than here at Dublin Honda. read more

Was procrastinating in getting an oil change with my 2013 Honda Civic once the service notification went on especially during the pandemic. Once I booked an appointment in advance online which was pretty seamless and the day arrived, I took my car in a few hours earlier just to see if they could finish sooner. I was greeted by Shane Governor who was upbeat and easy to chat with. He gave me a tip that even though I had an appointment towards the end of the day (Saturday), it was good that I brought in the car earlier as there aren't guarantees on a quick turnaround time. I appreciated his straightforwardness. He helped me out with a promo to bring down the costs (the little things matter for repeat business), offered a carwash (totally read my mind) and assured me that the car would be ready by 5pm, if not sooner with a text notification from him. About 3 hours after dropping off the car, I was notified that it was ready however both the cabin and engine air filters were in pretty bad shape due to all the smoke/ash and wind from the recent fires. I figured I could buy the materials and swap out myself so that's what I did but Shane provided ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE by showing me how to do so rather than feeding me to Youtube since it would have been my first time. This gesture alone (not to mention the others) locked me in to definitely come back rather than going to another company for future service. Sales : I was looking for a pre-owned vehicle depending on my budget and after searching around for sometime i decided to purchase it from Honda for obvious reason of trust and service, so i bought 2012 Civic in 2012 for a hefty amount compared to Individual buyers, and guess what within 2 days i had to claim insurance to change Engine Harness wires. (Reason was given by dealer that some animal may have cut the wire), It was a hassle for me and cost me out of pocket for Insurance ~1000. Service : So in order to make sure that i do not indulge into other issue, i decided to service at Honda Dublin. All the repairs like Engine Harness, oil changes and other services were done at Dublin Honda. Now after B14 service paying almost 800 bucks, they messed up my Oil can threads and asking for another ~800 bucks! Also they don't bother about customers. I extremely had a very bad Honda car owner experience at Dublin Honda in last 3-4 years. Dont have less start rating than this. I hope that helps to others before going to Dublin Honda. Brought my car in two weeks ago ac wasn't working key fob almost dead. Sat here half the day for them to "discover" that they needed to keep my car. I was told they did not have a loaner at a car dealer?! Ooh wait poof he found one! My car is "fixed". They didn't change the battery in the fob or take five minutes and rinse off my car?! Today 8/31 car completely stops working leaving me stranded in another city. The car gets jumped. Seemed ok I drive to another city have lunch. Car doesn't start again waited in the heat for almost 2 hours on 2nd AAA calls in one day! Call the dealership I'm told to bring the car up here. In which case I'm told it needs a new battery for 195. But it had a full diagnostic two weeks ago?! Battery was fine two weeks ago. I ask for the battery model to check other prices. Mark Youhana types in a cost to check out the car. It's 210 but guess what? If I buy the battery for 195 that fee is waived. Talk about strong arming. Pretty unethical and the first time with five Hondas that's happened. Surprise surprise they don't have a loaner either. Mark then calls over Rami Alsharif who has the same " Im trying to help you lady attitude" Im told almost identically by these two the battery was fine two weeks ago. Batteries are like light bulbs it can be fine one day and replacement needed a week later something smells like it's burning under the hood. This statement is ignored. I guess replacing the battery will fix that and the electrical brake problem alert too. Did I mention it's my only off day and I wasted 50 dollars on movie tickets because I was stranded at 3pm. Update 9/8/21 up until this point everything was good but I started to notice some issues early on with my clutch as far as shifting etc it's only been a couple months how is this possible?? So I took it to my local dealer Pittsburg winter Honda to get a diagnosis on my clutch and see what's the issue. They inspected it and told me that the clutch was worn and needed to be replaced completely and estimated about $2800. Talking with their advisor she suggested I go back to where I initially purchased the vehicle Dublin Honda, because this was most definitely a direct result of the previous owner either not knowing how to drive a stick or abusing it plus I literally just bought the car. I took it to Dublin Honda today to get it taken care of and they needed to do their own inspection ok that's fine. They confirmed the same thing the clutch needs to be replaced both me and the advisor thought because I just purchased the car not to long ago that it would be covered. Common sense would dictate if a customer purchases a car and it's a "Certified Pre Owned" that there should be no issues and it's under a one year warranty with a certain mileage criteria which I'm still under that this would have been taken care of... This is mind boggling how people can run a "business" and operate this way. Also to add Dublin Honda quoted me $3,555.39 to do the job It's disgusting. read more
