Stopped by here to grab a quick breakfast after my little one's soccer class. Wasn't expecting much, just a quick bite to eat. Totally glad we came here. The food were really tasty, and the portions were HUGE! We spent $36 for 3 adults and 1 kid, WINNER WINNER! I ordered the corned beef hash, and MY GOODNESS!! This was impressive.. not only were the portions huge, the presentation was beautiful. The food was great as well! Even my brother took half of my food haha My brother ordered the biscuits and gravy, and we both thought it was just one biscuit lol well it came with 3 and 3 sausages.. again, HUGE portion. We ordered the kids meal for my LO and had him split it with my dad.. so glad we did it that way because even the kids meal was huge. They were super cute and brought out a Mickey Mouse pancake! This is one of the best breakfast/brunch places in the city of Dublin, and it's been a mainstay for locals for quite a long time. They have a more or less traditional and predictable menu, but that isn't meant as a negative critique. This restaurant has all of the comfy, homely, and welcoming quirks of a traditional American breakfast diner, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The coffee is better than average, and their omelette are very well made. They also do chicken fried steak in a literal skillet and serve it that way, hence the name. My friend loves breakfast so decided to go try Copper Skillet since they offer outside dining, open at 8 am, and a variety of breakfast items. 8 tables placed in the parking lot (at the entrance) with umbrellas for shade. Be sure to bring those sunglasses as the umbrellas can only shade so much...staff wearing masks, gloves and bring your coffee and water in take out containers which seems wasteful but probably necessary during these times..hmmm...utensils and napkin wrapped in saran wrap for each customer. Food simple, prepared nicely and reasonably priced: half waffle (or French toast) with a protein, 2 eggs and hash browns done right! Yeah love a crispy, crunchy hash brown without it being dry...delicious... Staff friendly, respectful but a little lacking on follow thru...waiting for items, getting the credit card returned but overall, decent...and will chalk it up to getting back into a groove. I been here a couple times and its a hit or miss to be honest. There are days the waffle is on point where you can eat a bunch of waffles. Fresh, fluffy, and airy and pieces of buttery heaven. Then there's days you order it and its cold, chewy, and sad. However their breakfast is aways good but its pricey. Fresh toast, crispy hashbrowns, and decent eggs. Had their chicken and waffles today for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. Chicken was freshly fried and one of the better fried chicken fry's I have had in a while. Waffle was a waffle and decent. I've been going to copper skillet for as long as I can remember. The quality for me just isn't there anymore. I ordered huevos rancheros and when it came out it reminded me of a nachos bell grande with egg from Taco Bell. I tried to eat it, but I couldn't. Other than that the egg scramble plate, french dip, french fries, and egg breakfast with pancakes were fine. Nothing special, but their huevos rancheros were awful. My daughter and I look for a restaurant in the Dublin area when we meet half way for a fun lunch date. We haven't liked the chains available in the area. the food is definitely down home comfort food. The presentation is great. The potato salad was homemade with a wonderful taste, the hollaindaise sauce on the eggs benedict was extravaganant, the service was friendly and efficient. the place is dated in decor, but don't let that distract you from the food. The shopping strip in which they are located could definitely use some yard maintenance, so that this restaurant would look more appealing from the outside for the customers. That is the landlord's responsibility, but if I was the restaurant owner, I would do the weeding out front myself! We will definitely go back again, as the prices were also very reasonable. read more

We brought the family in for breakfast today for the first time and I'm so happy we stumbled upon this neighborhood gem. Very cute decor, clean and inviting. We had 8 people and were shown to a lovely booth that easily accommodated all of us. The menu is large and varied with something for everyone. We tried the club sandwich as well as well the French dip and kids chicken tenders from the lunch menu. Everything was cooked perfectly and their French fries are really excellent. We also tried the 2 egg breakfast from the breakfast menu which was also delicious. The portions are hearty and the price quite reasonable especially for the quality of the food. Still open for dinner on Friday nights and we had to go for it! Corned beef hash and eggs, shrimp fajitas, and the salisbury steak dinner. The breakfasts are always excellent. The shrimp fajitas was a pretty big portion and lots of shrimp. The salisbury steak was pretty big with super whipped mashed potatoes. This is the second restaurant in Dublin that I would frequent that changed ownership and quality of the food went down. The hot open face turkey sandwich is turkey from a can. Very bad. Also had a hamburger and the meat was sub par. Pancakes were excellent. Service was friendly and fast but your credit card machine strategy for customers to choose 20%, 25% or 30%? Attention new owners: your competition is too stiff for you to cut corners. If you're going to make it, I suggest you focus on quality. The immediate reaction I got when I saw the restaurant was "this must've been a Pizza Hut." They even still got the Pizza Hut booths, and we were seated at one of them (and I liked it!). Service was nice, and the waitress who helped us was friendly. We ordered Half French Toast with Bacon and Eggs, Pancakes, and NY Steak with Hash Brown. My Half French Toast with Bacon and Eggs was pretty good. The French toasts were really egg-y, dusted with powdered sugar, and came with a side of whipped butter (yum) and maple syrup. The bacon strips were ok. And my over easy eggs were cooked right to my order. Mine was $10. My bf got the pancakes, which were not bad. They were pretty standard pancakes. Neither bad nor great. And my brother went wild and ordered a NY steak. For breakfast! The steak was cooked right but it didn't have much seasoning. Hash brown was just ok, and in my opinion could've been crispier. I forget how much the pancakes were, but the NY steak was $14. Overall, it was a good breakfast experience. I'd come back again to try their other stuff. read more

I've never had Eggs Benedict that don't include Canadian Bacon. They really ought to have specifically mentioned that their version ONLY includes, eggs, an English muffin, and hollandaise sauce, with NO Canadian bacon, or called the dish something different (Vegetarian Benedict, perhaps). There are many variations on the classic that don't include Canadian bacon (California Benedict, smoked salmon Benedict, Florentine Benedict, etc), but if you're going to call a dish "Eggs Benedict", it needs to include Canadian bacon (that's just an integral part of the recipe). I did enjoy the sauce, but was very disappointed that I wasn't given what I ordered (I.e., a real Eggs Benedict). read more

My son and I just had breakfast here and I will never eat here again. I ordered the number 34 which is supposed to be onions, mushroom, tomato, and Italian sausage. The omelet was basically flat and the onions, mushroom, were overcooked and the tomatoes and Italian sausage were virtually non existent. The insides of the omelets were very runny. My son ordered the 6 pancake stack and when they arrived they were overcooked on the top and when you looked at the bottom they were severely overcooked, were very hard with no soft texture whatsoever. My son sent the order back for another order that would hopefully not ne over cooked. Honestly, I can say this is absolutely the worst omelet I have ever had in my life! You would easily pass by this restaurant without even knowing because of its unassuming location and minimalist signage. Copper Skillet is the place to get large and to the point breakfast and lunch food. It is charming and intimate inside - the restaurant is a giant square with a straightforward row like floor plan. Even if there is only two people, they'll shove you in a giant booth if it's available. It can also be kind of confusing following them through the restaurant as they just start walking. Watching them from our table they consistently do it this way. Be at the ready as they'll head out if you're not paying attention! Portion sizes are absolutely enormous. Two people can easily be satisfied with one of their dishes. Instead, we just shoveled food in our mouths and regretted it later, but definitely not in the moment. Our first dish was the Eggs Benedict with ham. Too much hollandaise sauce. Feels home made, which has its good parts and bad parts. It has a more comfy taste opposed to an extremely refined or light and fluffy taste. Our second dish was Linguisa with three eggs. I opted for the eggs scrambled and hash browns. Changed out the toast for fruit as I'm attempting to avoid bread - don't do peaches. They're definitely canned (which I've loved since I was a kid), but I was expecting fresh sliced peaches. Copper Skillet has long been on our list of brunch places to try in the west TriValley as my wife had fond memories of eating here as a kid. So this morning we packed our two brats in the old minivan and chugged over, getting there around 11:30. Parking was easy, and we were seated right away as the brunch rush was just ending. We ordered coffees and waters and then placed our orders, which came in about 15 minutes. Kids both ordered pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage ($5.00 each). They seemed to enjoy them, as there were fewer leftovers than usual. My choice was the Reuben sandwich ($10.25) - unsurprising for this is one of my go-to options when I'm unsure of what to order. It was quite good, and came with a side of hearty chicken vegetable soup. The winner: Mayleena scramble ($11.75). My wife ordered this - without country potatoes, and with flour tortillas. Huge portion size. A bit on the oily side (expected as it contained chorizo) but otherwise delicious! Bathrooms need updating but were clean. My observant better half noticed other tables with kids got crayons and coloring books while ours didn't. I think it was a simple oversight - as the service was friendly and efficient. This is an old diner type place. I like this place for breakfast. You can get a lot and get out for under $30 with coffee. We lucked out with no wait time. First time I did a breakfast special. I had to return my bacon after taking a bite and realizing it was cold, the waitress returned to the table with my same bacon that I bit and it was burnt, obviously the cook put it back on the grill which is unsanitary. Found this online and decided to give it a try. Good food, service was good. Good portion size for your money. steak was good, good seasoning and very good job on cooking the steak medium rare. Biscuits and gravy were good too. FYI biscuits and gravy come with 4 biscuits so you can definitely share.. good breakfast place if your in the area. Waffle was very good..
