There is no explanation needed for this Los Angeles famous hamburger joint. I came here with a friend just to pick up and of course I ended up ordering a burger for myself. The staff was great and we had our food within five minutes. I had a vanilla shake as well as my large cheeseburger with steak fries and it was pretty awesome. My friend had the large burger with an egg. I was a little taken away that they dropped the king burger name. I am a little sad that the shack down the street closed. I ate there most of my life. At any fast food chain or restaurant I've ever been to, you can order just a burger patty on its own for a few dollars instead of ordering a burger with no bun at full price. I have to say the location off La Cienega is super quick with deliver and Latoya is super sweet and hooked up the extra bbq sauces at no charge. Very disappointed :( I came here today after work very hungry and I ordered a large hamburger with skinny fries and a fountain drink. After the cashier charge me I put some tip as I always do in every restaurant I go. The guy who was in front was friendly like others times . When I got my hamburger I notice that the meat wasn't cook enough ( it was red in the middle) I didn't bite the hamburger at all. I just make sure it is cook appropriately to avoid health problems . I went to the cashier and explained what I have and I request another meat (I told him I was willing to pay for that) and he agreed. Then they were talking and the cook refuse to make another one . I asked the cook very polite that I need another one . But he didn't stop saying that he did it ok . At the end , i replied it's ok I am leaving . I put my fries and my drink in the garbage. This place is awful. The service is garbage. I used to go to Fatburger all the time when I was a kid, however I had the worse experience ever today. I was served by a 50year old ish Korean male. Even from the beginning I noticed his attitude. The lady in front of us asked for a cup of water and he gave her one, but not without putting his hands in it and dropped it and gave it back to her like nothing happened. Then me and my friend get to the counter. He gives us attitude, we told him our order 3 times bc he kept getting it wrong. Then we get our food, I asked for bbq sauce and ranch thinking 2 sauce is fine, he told me he has to charge for the second so I took only 1. Then my friend wants sauce for his order. He went and asked him for sauce. This 50 year old man then looks at me and starts yelling at me saying word for word "are you serious man, your really having you friend get you sauce?" My friend got a burger and fries and he wanted sauce for himself, not for me. I got mad told him that he got food too, and this worker really had the audacity to ask me if I thought I was better than everybody else? I was about to go off but my friend told me not to do anything since he didn't want a scene. Instead of resulting this matter, the worker actually started talking crap right in front of me, word for word saying "some people think they are f*cking special" that's when I got mad and asked him what his problem is and he just starts laughing in my face. He also was disrespectful to other customers, this other lady didn't know what drink she wanted and he told her what drink do you want lady in a big attitude. Horrible! I'm literally horrified at how the male employee was speaking to a senior citizen so incredibly disrespectfully. The employee was arrogant and I couldn't believe the words he was saying to me as well. I ordered an impossible burger with gluten free bread, he was waiting for me to guess what the bread was called and when I got it "there we go" was his response. I was so discombobulated ordering that I forgot to add a vegan shake. They ended up charging me more for it but then the employee started arguing with me on the price I owed after already paying close to $30. FATBURGER used to be so good. This franchise couldn't get my order right. The cashier and the manager didn't know how to issue a refund. That makes no sense. They both told me the opposite of what was actually happening to cover their errors. In the end, I told them to cancel the entire order. We agreed that I would leave without any food. However, I still see a charge for $2.74 from that August 4, 2021. I called Fat Burger and left a message with the girl who answered the telephone, but no one returned my call or issued a refund for the $2.74 erroneous charge. Do not go to this location. Today I came in for lunch and I was warmly greeted by everyone as I walked in. The employees here are extremely friendly and you can tell that they enjoy their job because they all go out of their way to make your visit pleasant. The food is good and the floors are clean.
