The server left my family speechless because how inconsiderate she is to the customers. We ordered 2 seafood pancakes and usually it comes with one side of soy sauce per dish. She only gave us one sauce and expected 3 people to dip in one. So then we have to ask for more, which she didn't seem very happy. But when she brought another pancake, she didn't give any sauce at all. It's like we already asked for refill so she doesn't want to give us extra. And it's not like the restaurant give us the generous amount, only just 1/3. When we asked for to go boxes, the lady in front the counter gave us only one box but we asked for two. We really tried to like this restaurant since their food is decent, but the service is really bad. There are so many Korean restaurants with better services than this one. read more

Very nice staff and food was decent but the stock photos do not match the menu. One photo even shows fried chicken - not on the menu or offered - I realize it is the international district but it would have been easier to order if the descriptions were better. Sad to leave a review like this, but was disappointed with my experience this time with Gangnam Seattle. I've had food from here twice since they changed over from Mr. Chicken. Both times I can say the flavor is on point! That's the saving grace and why it's two stars rather than one. What's disheartening is that my intended order wasn't wrong only once, but twice. I called a phone order for crispy drums, soy garlic chicken, cole slaw, kimchi fried rice with cheese, and an all mozzarella dog. When my order was being taken, the lady was asking for my number but got distracted and only heard the first 6 digits before hanging up. I got to the restaurant, and was told upon checkout that they ran out of cole slaw. Of course I couldn't get a call since they never got my full phone number. Okay, no biggie, it's not the main star of the show anyways. I left with the bag of food, mind you it has the receipt of all the food I ordered attached to it. So you could see what the original order was. I had gotten home to check the food, and ends up the crispy drums were missing. Was a bit disappointed already since there was no cole slaw. Went back and the lady apologized as she brought out the to go box of chicken. She also put in a coke, which I thought initially was a sort of apology drink added to my order. I got home a second time and laid everything out. The new order of chicken was suspicious, and it ends up being chicken tenders rather than drums. Note, drums are more expensive than tenders (even with a drink added to them), but at that point, it was frustrating to have to go back and forth for an order that was wrong a second time. Yes the food was good. But the service/attention to detail needed work. Especially at a time when there was maybe one other customer in the restaurant when I picked up my order and nobody there when I came back for the missing item. I live in the neighborhood, and I wanted some light food to eat in this unseasonably hot weather. I was very pleased to see that Gangnam sold containers of their individual banchans, as well as rice! I purchased some potato and fish cake banchan, as well as some steamed rice, and it made for a perfect light lunch. The fish case was especially delicious; it's made with slices of fresh hot pepper, which adds a nice kick to the dish. I'm definitely coming back soon, to try the rest of their dishes! read more

We have been coming here since the beginning of the summer and it has been nothing but great. The service is 4/5, food is 5/5 and price point is 5/5. Our favorite dishes is the Korean Chicken (Better than most we've had in the city), Soft Tofu Soup and the Korean Corn Dogs (they are cheaper and better than the competition across the street). Starting with the positive the sides are incredible, the fish cakes, kimchi, and salads that come with your meal were awesome and among the best I've had. The price point is great to, as many have said it's a casual little hole in the wall Korean spot. The lady working the front and as our server was also super kind and friendly. That being said the entrees weren't great, I got the bibimbap and it was very subpar, mostly not being seasoned well and providing no interest to a very simple dish, the girlfriend got the bulgogi over rice and the bulgogi wasn't very tender but the flavor was there. I feel like this place is a hidden gem and sort of want to keep it to myself but also want it do well and stay around for a very long time. This place used to be mr.chicken which had very good fried chicken but not much of other options. This new place still does the fried chicken well but it also has a lot dishes that pair well with soju and beer. We came the day after Christmas and enjoyed dolsot bimbibap with Kimchee stew (my favorite) and spicy fried chicken. This place is going on our regular rotation. read more

Stopped by on a Friday night with the kids and was really surprised by the quality of the food. I had the tteokbokki and husband had the seafood soup. Kids shared the popcorn chicken based based on recommendation from the owner. The popcorn chicken was good, but the tteokbokki and the soup were what shone. Both were spicy and a tad garlicky but not in a way that overwhelmed everything else as it often happens with Korean food. I got the seafood tofu soup and was disappointed due to how salty it was. Even though my standards were low due to the lack of good Korean food in Seattle, this dish was practically inedible. At some point, I just added water which sadly made little to no difference. The fried chicken was okay. I was served fried popcorn chicken instead of actual chicken wings and they explained after the fact that by choosing one of the sauces, they had to use chicken wings instead.
