You simply cannot beat 6 grams of fiber in their whole wheat pita breads.

I know they make other items but their "Arabic Bread" is the most important food item in my life.

We took home some of their best bread and it is just great. Their croissants are amazing as are all of their pastries. The place is so clean and cute. The customer service is amazing. They are so nice and will explain all they have. We took some back to our hotel and then went back on our last day just to get bread to take home. The bakery is known its innovation. I have never had their signature heirloom blue-corn masa sourdough. They even have Filipino staples like pandesal and ube-filled cruffins. It is all so good. They are open Thursday through Sunday until all is sold out. You will love this place.

However, there was still a line out the door and the staff were super nice to give out a lot of samples! We tried the rosemary bread and it was absolutely delicious. It was also straight from the oven, so it was still super warm. We went ahead and ordered the tomato cheese croissant and focaccia dolce. They were both amazing! I would think all the bread would taste good, but everyone was recommending the tomato cheese one. It was pretty nice and clean inside! Also, plenty of seating and restrooms in the outside area!

Baked Banhs have some of the best canelés in town, and sadly, they are closing on June 27th! We are…read moreso sad we didn't get to come visit until quite recently. :( We parked in the nearby parking lot on 4th street. Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.

Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.

Thankfully, the line moved pretty quickly, although the bakery itself is small and can feel a bit tight inside. I got a small assortment of pastries, including the Japanini and some of their popular items: the Salt & Butter Roll, Curry Pan, and Kobo Kuma. Everything was warm, fresh, and delicious. I honestly wish I had gotten more. My kids enjoyed everything too. The only item that was a bit disappointing was the Sea Salt Taro Latte. It was a little too milky and sweet for my taste. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more items from their delicious menu!
