I almost never write reviews but the service that I recently received from the Service Department at Hilltop Kia for our 2019 Soul EV defies imagination! When every business these days seems to be cutting corners or walking away from their responsibility to the consumer, Hilltop Kia went in the exact opposite direction. While my expectations for their mechanical thoroughness and expertise were pleasantly met, it was their integrity and total commitment to the customer that blew me away! I was looking at a very expensive repair (replacing a bad A/C condenser) that they were originally informed by the warranty company would be covered. Then, a day or so later, the warranty company reversed its decision. But that was when the Kia Service Manager, Mike Curtis, and one of his stellar Service Advisors, Taylor Mathias, stepped up and really went to bat for me--even to the unbelievable extent that I was told that they would eat the difference if they couldn't get the warranty company to honor their original decision! In this day and age, that kind of all-in commitment to the consumer is unheard of. This, by the way, was not my first 5-star experience with the Service Department at Hilltop Kia. In terms of automotive repair and maintenance--especially from a dealership, the service there is so beyond what I have ever experienced in my entire life, that I'm actually considering purchasing a new vehicle from Hilltop Kia just so that I can have the vehicle serviced there from the get-go. read more

Instead he asked how I was doing and allowed me to express with I needed and what I like. He was very thorough on the process and answered all of my questions. I was referred to Moe at Hilltop Ford by my sister who has bought several cars from him over the years. I could have never prepared for the customer service that my family was met with. My husband and I were hesitant to shop around with our two little ones who are under 4 years old, but we were met with immediate hospitality and service from Mariel, and we had an excellent experience with the Manager, Jose, and also the Finance person, Garner who wasn't only quick, but played with the girls and made them feel apart of the process. The whole Ford team made sure we were comfortable, gave multiple snacks and drinks and that's not including the Labor Day bbq ( chicken, tri tip, hamburgers and hot dogs)--gotta love when making such a significant investment is fun and comfortable. We never felt pressured, and we were walked through everything step by step, with nothing happening without my approval. And of course Moe was there every step of the way supporting us throughout the decision making process. I do not have good things to say about Hilltop Ford in regards to the purchase of a new vehicle. That story you can find under my previous reviews. This review is for the professional and fantastic people at the Ford Service Center located at Hilltop. I have dealt with Dave there since the purchase of my 2018 Mustang. I had an issue regarding my vehicle going into "Limp Mode" that was very puzzling and confusing. Dave ended up taking this issue all the way up the chain to the Ford engineers as the code displayed was not one they had previously encountered. My beloved Mustang was there for two days and the situation was finally resolved. I am a US Army Vet, veterans this is the spot. Staff at Hilltop could have ripped me off and charged me I would have not known. Instead my oil was changed, tires rotated and situation with he codes brought to a conclusion. I have not had the problem repeated. Thank you Dave and all the staff at Hilltop Ford. If you need servicing on your Ford vehicle take it to these top notch pros. I was surprised they had any in stock, but they did, and Raoul was fantastic to work with throughout the process. He was professional, punctual, and clearly enthusiastic about the car he was selling to us. I'd been calling Kia dealerships all over the bay for several days and Raoul was the only person who was quick to get back to us and continued to follow up throughout the day. He put in a lot of effort to work with us on price until we rolled out with a car that we love at a price we were comfortable with.
