I went here around 4am in the morning. It was freezing in the restaurant so me and my boyfriend decided to sit in the middle where it was slightly warmer. The waiter (who told us we can sit wherever due to there only being two other customers) begins to explain to us that we can't sit in the middle due to cleaning. That was no issue, however we politely asked if the restaurant would be able to turn on the heater. It was below 60 and felt colder in the restaurant. The waiter ignored our question, & immediately had a rude tone, saying if we didn't want to move we wouldn't be severed. Not once did we refuse to move, we asked a simple question. I spoke up again, explaining moving wouldn't be an issue but would a heater being on in the restaurant be possible. He scoffed, and replied "I heard what you said, you guys need to move." We ended moving booths, quickly realizing this is not the type of environment we'd like to be eating in anyways. We immediately left & sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes debating where we'd like to go from there. Funny enough, the area we were previously sitting at wasn't even attended to this supposed "cleaning". The workers kicked it in the back left towards the kitchen talking amongst each other.. was it such a big issue to answer our question on a heater? & why was it such an issue to sit where we were if the "cleaning" wasn't even tended to? Horrible attitude & horrible service, we took ourselves to Denny's and had 1000% better quality and service. read more

First time being at this location and already a bad experience. My waiter Kat had a horrible attitude not very welcoming and when she brought out our food she threw it onto the table. Wait time is horrible here it wasn't as full I'm not sure if they were short staffed in the back and on top of that we found a hair on our pancakes! I will not be coming back here again. read more

Came here on a busy Sunday morning and Avis helped us out today. As soon as my family and I got sat, Avis came over and started us off with drinks and even gave recommendations. Our food came out pretty quickly and was very good. I recommend the breakfast sampler so you get a little bit of everything (eggs, pancakes, meat, and hash brown). Avis frequently came by and checked in on us to see if we needed anything else. Amazing service by our wonderful server Avis. She goes out of her way as a waitress to make sure we're all good, making sure the food was as expected and to our liking. I love diner food, especially if they're open 24 hours. This IHOP may not be considered a diner to some, but I love this specific location and the staff is always friendly, even if they're short staffed. Avis is my favorite waitress there. Everything that I love about diners; the comfort food, and the caring vibes is pretty much Avis in a nutshell. I feel at home whenever I go there and I never have issues or delays with my food. She always checks on me even when I forget to ask for a refill, as she already has one ready for me. I know it's just IHOP, but for me personally service goes a long way and it helps in case one day the food is mediocre; I still like the experience and the vibes from being there because the staff make me feel at home. First by saying if I could give zero Stars I would but this is my only option here is my experience that I I cannot believe the way I was just treated I planned on having breakfast over here at IHOP this morning but I did have to go to the bathroom really bad I asked five different occasions can I please have the code to the bathroom the woman when I asked her the first time went in the back and wouldn't give me the code so then her assistant manager or manager I don't even know came out and would not give you the code then he walks to the bathroom after I'm telling him it's very rude the inhumane treatment and that I was going to eat over there but she kept saying that I needed to be a customer I don't care if I'm a customer I don't care if I look like I'm homeless I don't care what is going on with me as long as I am polite and I am not hurting or harming anybody also I had my dog with me and she's a service dog and I told them that she is a service dog and you're not allowed to ask after he proceeded to open the bathroom for me as I was talking with him very calmly my dad about how I was disappointed about the way I was treated the waitress came in and told me I needed to leave I couldn't have my dog in the bathroom with me and again I told her that she's a service dog you're not allowed to question me about her and that I'm going to use the bathroom whether they like it or not I then proceeded to use the bathroom I came out I sat down on their bench in front of their reception area and I proceeded to call IHOP customer service number and make a major complaint about this company the fact that these big corporations think that they can treat people like they don't exist because of what they look like that's unacceptable profiling people for what they look like when they have to go to the bathroom you don't even know if they're your customers or not you don't treat people like this people we need to stand up for ourselves and make a stand of the humanity of how people think they can treat people. read more

Ok...I'm definitely not an IHOP fan but when your taking your parent to breakfast; and that's what they choose you really have no choice when you ask what they want. Against my better judgment. We sat down and server came right away. Asked if we were ready to order which I automatically felt rushed. I understand this is a quick turnaround, but jeez. The server initially was nice. My daughter and I ordered a BLT with fries. I ordered a side of Swedish crepes too. My Mother had the 2 eggs sunny side up, 2 pieces of bacon, sourdough toast, and hash browns. We also ordered coffee. We get the coffee with no cream and no sugar for starters. They are notorious for crafts of coffee at the table; which we didn't get until 15 minutes when I finally got someone. My BLT had two pieces of bacon and no mayo per description I was given. My Mothers eggs looked fried, crepes were smothered in butter and my Mothers sourdough didn't have butter. No ketchup. Just pure exhaustion! When we first sat down you know I thought that our server was sweet and was well put together ,but that was just her opening. We received our food from someone else. She never came to our table to ask us how anything was, and we had to ask other people for butter, for my mothers potatoes, ketchup, cream,etc. The manager just so happen to walk by and we asked him if we could speak to him. We told him the situation and no sooner who comes?...the server. I asked the manager how many pieces of bacon comes on a BLT. He said there should be eight pieces of bacon all together. I asked him how many pieces do you see on my sandwich? He chuckled a little bit and said two. I also told him that my mother has been waiting for butter for her toast and her eggs were fried and not Sunnyside up not to mention all of the other BS that was going on with our food. He asked us if we wanted something else, and I was already perturbed and declined. He was gracious enough to takeoff my mothers meal and my BLT. The server never apologized and never said anything even when the manager was there. The servers opening act great. The closing act definitely was not a standing ovation. Overall bad experience! Will my Mother ask to go again?...thank goodness NO. Again, maybe I should have persuaded her to go elsewhere. Of course I could've given a one star, but because the manager was kind enough to takeoff two meals out of three gave two stars! read more

Another place I haven't been to in years and probably won't again. Service was fine. It's the food that will keep me from returning. How hard is it to cook eggs right? I ordered my eggs over medium and my wife ordered hers scrambled. Both of our order of eggs was burnt crispy. Seriously? Especially scrambled eggs? I kept my eggs because I can deal with it and just know they won't do it right. Returned the scrambled eggs and they were done correctly. Also the hash browns were undercooked. We were seated next to a broken window that had been vandalized and window guys kept coming to look at it...I didn't write a review then but I went back today. The waitress never came to me but a manager came and took my order- a mushroom and spinach omelette. No idea how it came out freezing cold and runny. I thought it had cheese at first then realized it was undercooked. I left half on the plate. The waitress only showed up to bring the check and smiled at me. She was ready for her tip! Still working out the kinks, but this IHOP is a nicer one in the area. It's brand new and CLEAN, unlike the grimy dark dingy one in Burbank. Our server Mayra was very nice and personable. She answered any questions we had with a smile. They were very busy that morning and so the food took a while to come out. Also, for some reason out order didn't get sent to the kitchen, but all in all it was a fine time. Everything about our experience was good. The wait times a Saturday at 9 am was mere minutes, the food was cooked well and came out in a timely manner, and our server Avis was super sweet, making the visit one to remember. The only issues we experienced were a few coffee grounds in the coffee, but Avis was quick to change it out and explain to the gentleman who brought it how to prevent it in the future. It's kind mentoring like this that should be recognized by managers... she did an excellent job. If I really wanted to be petty I could say my glass of water was too small, but it was fine except the house made salsa with my Colorado omelets was SPICY!! Good spicy, but requires some big glass of water!! Everything looked clean and well taken care of including the restrooms. The host staff was polite and attentive, and the manager checked on us twice which I very much appreciate. You can tell he cares greatly about making sure this location is successful. Went for dinner since it finally opened and got dinner. Seeing previous reviews makes it clear that you should go for pancakes at ihop... we didn't but God help you if you get something other than breakfast food. I got the sirloin tips with mash and corn because somewhere in the recesses of nostalgia I thought I had remembered that IHop also did lunch/dinner well. I was sorry mistaken. The waitress didn't ask for the temperature for cooking the tips so I assumed it would be a normal medium. What I got was so overdone it was like jerky and flavored so incredibly bizarrely - both over sweet in some parts and then bland in others?? I had to douse it in A1 to actually eat it. The corn were dry, unseasoned individual kernels of sad flavorless yellow gumdrops. I went with my son and was told by the server kids eat free from 4-10 pm and so ordered a kids meal as well only to find that I was charged for his meal and I had to ask them to remove the charges, which they did. Probably will never return as there are tons of bwtmuch better and cheaper diner options in the valley. Don't waste your time. Service is slow and food is painfully bad. read more

The only reason why I even give it 1 star is because the waiter was very nice. Unfortunately I can not say the same about the food. I had ordered the sirloin tips and eggs and my bf had gotten a burger. Sheesh where do I start.... My bf's burger bun was ridiculously soggy and took off everything off the burger except the top bun and Patties. But at least it tasted good. As for me, the steak was seasoned with SUGAR!!!! Instead of salt! It was ridiculously sweet and disgusting. I have ordered this plate many times and it has never been made with sugar. They didn't want to admit that the cook mistaken the salt with sugar and said it was the marinade. And on purpose one of the cooks came out just to see/hear who we were and what we were saying. Well they offered a T-bone and I said sure, what could go wrong..... but I was wrong, the steak had half meat which was very nice & tender but the other half was nasty fat and inedible. They had also brought me new eggs which guess what!!!! There was a HAIR in it. That's 2 plates in a row that are messed up. Oh and my glassware was dirty!!! It had a white piece of cheese or something with food on the inside of my cup. They offered $5 off wow, great business . We still gave the waiter a tip because she was genuinely nice but everything else was absolute trash! Never coming to this ihop ever again and neither should you!!! read more
