all you can eat meat selections.

Wonderful all you can eat, service and price are good, the only problem was that some joker poured tequila in their sauces.. San Francisco ... what can you do? Most of their clientele were older because we ate an early dinner (lots of stuff to do for the lunar new year).. Meats were good, but didn't care for the American Waygu.

My daughter, friend and I were in the mood for Hot Pot. We had heard good things about this place so decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy surprisingly. We were greeted and seated right away. The place looked clean and organized. It was a little cold though. We each ordered different broths which were all flavorful. They had a sauce bar and the hot pot items are ordered from an app. Each person in your party scans the QR menu and then add items. Everything was fresh. I loved the sauce bar. We didn't get to try the Korean BBQ but will the next time.

We came here for my friends birthday. They charge you around 37 per person and it's all you can eat. Everything was good but the kitchen closed midway and they told us that the kitchen was closing and it stressed us out a bit which shifted the vibe. Other than that the staff are so nice and the food is yummy. The watermelon drink was so good and the boba was good

Watched superbowl here. Pretty good hotpot + grill ayce place in sunset district. This one does the grill right, like their grill which seems to be ceramic or titanium that doesn't stick and burn easily. Marinate and thickness are about right. For hotpot variety is pretty good, standout is the large selection of soup varieties (but doesn't seem to have strong flavor, rather mild). Meat is fine though not much standout. Desert there is mochi ice cream. They biang biang hand pulled noodles are fun and good texture, though it is very hard to find very good biang biang noodles. Korean short ribs wasn't enough done, still had some rare bits. A lot of things to try though not top notch, but who is.

Tomato Soup Base and Winter Melon Pork Bone Soup Base

Went on a Wednesday night for AYCE hot pot. Since it's getting late, there were only around 5 occupied tables. We ordered 2 rounds and each time the dishes came out promptly. We had the tomato soup base and the winter melon pork bone soup base and both were good. The wagyu beef was fresh and soft. There was also a great variety, from mushrooms, tofu, sweet potatoes and assorted vegetables to mussels, noodles, and pork, to choose from. They also had great already-cooked dishes and desserts. I especially like the fried buns and pumpkin parrake. I thought the price of under $38/person for the AYCE was decent and reasonable. The price covered all food except drinks. A shout out to the young waiter with brown curly hair. With a big smile, he was very friendly, attentive, and helpful.

The dirty plate they served me

I don't understand how this place is ranked so highly. When we got started, I noticed that 2 of the 4 plates were dirty. The sauce bar looked very unclean, and some ingredients seemed to have gone bad. We ordered several items that we never received, even after politely reminding the servers. The food quality was mediocre--I ordered the steamed pork buns, and they came out cold in the middle. The broth was extremely diluted, so you're essentially cooking in plain water. That said, the servers were very kind, but the restaurant's system is clearly not working. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

Hotpot and KBBQ on one table

Great experience at this place! Upon getting seated, we scanned the QR code to look at what's available (it's the same price for whether you eat both KBBQ and hotpot or only one type) to order everything and within minutes the food started coming out. Servers were great at handling our large orders of meat and sides, changing out our grill once it got too burnt, and also refilling our water cups. Sauce bar also had side dishes like fruit and kimchi / seaweed salad. We asked them to do something special for our friend whose birthday we were celebrating, so they played the Happy birthday song and also gave a discount on our bill! If you plan on coming with a large party, you can also sign up for their free membership with a phone number and get 5% cash back and reward points for future visits

We came here at night on Wednesday, and here's my experience: 1. Ambiance (4/5) The restaurant had a casual vibe and was quite busy when we arrived. It was clean and had plenty of seating. 2. Service (5/5) The service was excellent. We got a table for five quickly because we had already joined the waitlist on Yelp. All the staff were friendly and super attentive. Great service here! :) 3. Food (4/5) - Hot Pot (5/5):We ordered the Tom Yum and Miso hot pots. The broth was delicious and had an authentic, rich flavor. The meat was tender and fresh, and the vegetables were good too. I truly recommend the hot pot here! - BBQ (3/5): Personally, I didn't like the way the meat was seasoned. I prefer it unseasoned so you can taste the freshness of the meat. I also wish they had more variety in the meat options, lettuce, and vegetables. - Appetizer: It was okay, but our grilled ribs were super chewy :( - Drinks & Dessert (2/5): The drinks and desserts were way too sweet for us -- the boba tea, ice cream, and jelly.:( Overall: I definitely recommend the hot pot -- it was hella good! The servers were very nice and helpful. One downside was that the drinks and desserts were really sweet for us. Next time, I'd try a different broth!

Didn't even get to eat here due to the wait time for people with reservations We had a 7:00 pm reservation on Saturday (booked through Resy). The app showed plenty of availability, so we expected things to run on time. When we arrived, it was difficult to even check in, there didn't seem to be a dedicated host, and the person handling check-ins was also waiting tables. When we finally got to check in, we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. After 10 minutes, we checked again and got the same answer. We also noticed that tables seated at 7:00 were still waiting for their server 20 minutes later with no food. By 7:35, we were told our table was "almost ready," but we had other plans at 9:00 and decided to leave. Can't comment on the food or the ambiance, but the service and organization really need work. It seems like they're overbooking reservations, which is frustrating for guests who plan ahead. I can totally understand a 10-15 min hold up but 30+ min is a bit much.

Looking for an AYCE hot pot and KBBQ? iPot is the place. I haven't been here in a few years and noticed a few things changed on their menu&service. They have one person from the table sign an agreement form that you know the pot/stove is hot. I usually do the AYCE hot pot. They have a variety of meats, veggies and noodles. They have a self service sauce bar with other appetizers (oranges, kimchi and etc).

They have Miso, tomato, mushroom, kim chi and curry base soup. But you will need to call and ask if there was any meat used to make the broth first to be certain

Is the restaurant allowed to bring own alcohol since they don't have AYCD?

This is a really dumb question.

Is it AYCE beverage? (Soft drinks and alcohol)?

No, I recently went here and each of the soft drinks were charged individually.

Are there any vegetarian soup bases?

I was wondering if anyone knew what peanut sauce they have? It was so good. I wanna buy some.

Do they have Gluten free broths and sauces?

Are they still open for dine in?

Yes! I was here two nights ago and people were spaced apart by one booth. There's also outdoor dining, about 2-3 tables.

Any update on your reopening?

Hard review to write. Probably more of a 3.5 review rounded up…read more Jump to service if you want to get into the main reason why. Quality/Quantity - We had a large group, thank you for accommodating. I believe we made reservations, where we would not be seated until everyone showed up. Good thing the group all showed up on time (for once, lol). Ordered the following for our table, our other table had our larger half of the group. But due to the door mishap, I did not want to walk over to take pictures of their food/order. Okonomiyaki Fries - Was too soggy for me, but everyone else on our table enjoyed it. Popcorn Salmon - I did not enjoy this, but everyone else on both tables loved it, so it was "a me problem." Boneless Fried Chicken - I enjoyed it, but no one else did?!?! I guess I have very different tastes from this group...? Tonkatsu Ramen - Good. But very basic. Beef Short Rib Plate - Three orders, both people enjoyed it. Actually, our young eater ate 1.5 of this plate, 1/2 from his mom's order. This order also came with a side salad and steamed rice. Bulgogi Plate - I can't remember if I got my rice?!?! Well, the beef was of decent quantity, I actually brought a little back home for leftovers, with the boneless fried chicken. At home, it was a little too salty, too much soy sauce. Sizzling Bibimbap - My daughter's dish which was also good. I believe she had leftovers. Our other table got the regular bibimbap, they said next time they will try the sizzling as they felt that was better. Lastly, our guest on the other table ordered one of each dessert for both tables. Mango Panna Cotta & Chocolate Tartufo - I am not a chocolate person, but enjoyed the Tartufo better. Our guest wanted Soju! The first time, so we ended up ordering two hot larges. Smooth and went down too easily. I then finished my meal with a Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Boy I miss this beer, I have not had in a while. Too busy supporting local breweries. Overall, the food was just okay for me and my daughter. Ambiance - Outside looks good, and new. Love the menus and the happy hour information. Might come back for HH. Small local restaurant. A few tables and bar seating. Clean restrooms, two unisex. Street metered parking, free after 6pm. Plenty of street parking. Service - Okay, the front door has issues... It stays open, then does NOT close. It is slanted, so you have to "force" it to close. When we ALL got here, I guess we left the front door open by accident. Well, the waitress did NOT appreciate that (I stayed outside taking my Yelp pictures while everyone else walked in). She gave me a LOOK... While I was still outside, more people came in and I tried to close the door for them and because the door is slanted, it did not close and had to be "forced" resulting in a slam, sorry. Got another look... After that, I went straight to my seat. Menus on the table. Price - Expensive, or did we order too much? I think our bill with tax and tip came out to almost $800. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2017; look forward to trying your happy hour.

Everything -- from food to service, to ambience -- was EXCELLENT through and through. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a wait staff immediately. We were seated at a bar height table as requested. And throughout the evening, the wait staff was helpful, courteous and attentive. They did not miss a beat in offering us water refill, checking on us, or changing our plates. Excellent service!! Between the three of us, we offered a variety of appetizer and dishes; what stands out is the quality of their ingredients, and the sophistication and perfection in their usage of spices, creating excellent and balanced flavors. * Spring Roll wrap - A must order dish. Perfectly fried spring roll with lettuce wrap and spiced dipping sauce. Excellent! * Clay Pot rice - I really like the clay pot rice here. They use Chinese sausage and the flavorful pork neck meat, over fragrant jasmine rice.. it was cooked for perfection and packed with flavors. Note, their clay pot rice does not come with crispy rice bottom, but just ask if you want it. ;) * Beef Tartare- excellent flavor and soft fresh beef tartare... so good! * Blue Shrimp Ceviche - another dish that highlights their culinary expertise. Sashimi- grade blue shrimp in their special sauce.. well balanced flavor and just perfect! * A highlight was definitely their sake and cocktail list... they have plenty of good drinks here. My default is their Lychee Drink and the blue bottle sake. Always a good choice and Le Soleil offers the perfect setting for great friends to gather and have a few drinks! Water pitchers was refilled throughout. It did take a while for staff to pick up empty plate once we were finished with dishes since they dropped orders so quickly into service, but not a huge deal. Overall a nice spot for a modern twist on Vietnam cuisine, the chicken and beef were the stand out dishes for us, so give those a try if you decide to visit. Paid with blackbird on my visit and spent the minimum to get the free Bo lac bac which was a nice added bonus.

Everything about the ordering process and the quality of the food itself was good but not great. There was no wow factor or anything that left me feeling extra motivated to return, but I also wouldn't be opposed if I were nearby and craving onigiri. There's a single kiosk in-store to order at, but you can also place an order with the person working the counter if it's not too busy. I wasn't sure what I wanted immediately, so I waited for one of my friends to finish before ordering. I added 1 unagi eel, 1 unagi onigiri, and 1 crab onigiri to my basket and checked out. I have absolutely no idea what's the difference between "unagi eel" and "unagi onigiri", and when I went to pick up my order, the staff member told me my order was two unagi and one crab. However, I was charged $4.50 for the unagi eel and $4.30 for the unagi onigiri, so go figure. I could not detect a difference between the two, and the price of each averaged out to $4.40, so it's whatever. I unwrapped one of the unagi onigiris to eat in-store as we waited for a Zoox to arrive. It was actually pretty difficult to extricate the seaweed and rice ball filling in one piece to consume together, which I presume is because the onigiris are each made-to-order and due to the freshness, the separate ingredients haven't had a chance to marinate and congeal together. As I had not eaten all day, I quickly devoured the onigiris before and after our short ride back to a café where some of our other friends were waiting. The onigiris were, as I mentioned before, pretty standard minus the fact they kind of fell apart. I would say if you like onigiris, then these will get the job done, but they're nothing exceptional, so keep your standards at baseline.

I like when the beef is smaller pieces or minced Rigatoni - delicious and even though the portion is smaller, it can be filling Pork jowl - delicious but on the heavier side since it's fatty KFC - tasty but not very unique to me (side of pickles are yummy but you can order those alone if you don't want the fried chicken) Banana panna cotta - SO delicious that after the 3 of us shared one, we each ordered an additional one to go...I love banana, and I love panna cotta, so this was my fave from the night! Service was very friendly. We ate outside, and they never forgot about us. I was 30 minutes early for our reservation, and luckily I was able to sit at our table and wait. The outdoor patio is cute with string lights and heaters, but it's uncovered so we got lightly misted on. Bring a coat if you eat outside just in case, but my table mates got too hot from the heat lamps while I loved it. Would come back to get the dishes I liked the most.
