Definitely more of a takeout place, but with fast service and a fun fusion of Mexican and Korean flavors, Jesse Boy is definitely worth a shot. They have fried chicken AND dried cauliflower for the vegans, and they take extra care to fry them in separate oils. The spicy chicken isn't coated in a sauce like you would expect, it's just spicy. Been coming to Jesse Boy consecutively for the past 2 years! Wow this review is long over dueeee!!! I love the fact that they're not in K town surrounded by other Korean sando businesses! It really helps with it standing out more in the little plaza they're located in, right on Santa Monica and vine. There's plenty of parking there too. Ordering online is so easy and convenient. Okay. I really like this place. It's great food at a decent price. I highly recommend not ordering over the phone though because the order never comes out correctly. They are pretty quick, so it's worth your while to just order in person. Today, I ordered my typical spicy chicken sandwich, which I love, but was given the spicy chicken tenders instead. I don't like them as much by themselves. I love the way the flavors of the sandwich blend, and that's missing when the chicken is by itself. My husband and I used to live in the area for years, and in that time, Jesse Boy was on our regular take out rotation. It was an especially good choice on nights when you come home tired from work, don't have the energy to cook, and want something filling but not heavy and greasy. We've missed Jesse Boy since moving out of the neighborhood, especially since we haven't found a comparable Korean chicken spot in our new area. We just ate Jesse Boy bowls again tonight because I was in the area on my way home - and it's just as delicious as we remember! So much so that I plan to take a detour route on my way home every now and then so we can bring back Jesse Boy back as an after-work take out option. Had this the other day and it was decent. I was a little underwhelmed but it wasn't bad. The chicken was juicy, not as crispy as I wished it was though. The rice was a little over cooked as well. The service was cool but not entirely great either. Overall i probably wouldn't eat here again. I also had the chicken sandwich and it wasn't my favorite, it got soggy real quick and fell all over the place. I like the seasoning, but it was missing something. maybe the bun they use or the bread needed to be crispier on the inside so it doesn't fall apart so fast? After visiting yesterday, boy am I kicking myself for sleeping in this for so long. I had the chicken bowl to go, and I was blown away by everything. The salad on top was no afterthought. I've come here a few times over the years and the food is always consistently amazing. I absolutely love chicken and usually opt to order it if it's an option, but I actually find the cauliflower incredible here and it's the only thing I ever order when I stop by. They cook the cauliflower perfectly so it still has a firm bite and it's not mushy, and the breading and seasoning is to die for. Their salad dressing is also amazing and all the flavors work really well together. All the staff is friendly and helpful, and when you go inside you can see directly into the kitchen where they're making your food so you know it's clean and fresh. They also usually have agua frescas available that are super refreshing and made with real ingredients. The cup size is also really generous! I've never had a bad experience here and since the menu is small, they really focus on quality for everything on the menu. Even if you're typically a meat-lover (I definitely am) I highly recommend getting the cauliflower :) read more

I would say the food is spot on and the cauliflower was relatively large came with 6. I ordered Togo. One thing I would recommend is possibly having a better to go box and the dressing or liquid from the cauliflower leaked out of box. I would also say the side salad is on the sparse side.
