Went in for routine maintenance this morning and worked with David. I received a call that I had issues with my front brakes and needed new roters.. the car is a year 2015. They told me it would cost about $360 but they would "give me a deal" and charge about $320. They also wanted to charge me $50 for new windshield blades. I took my car across the street to big ol tires where I was informed that absolutely nothing is wrong with my brakes at all and that I have been misinformed. I was also told that I could get windshield blades for $30. Jiffy lube tried to scam me this morning. This is the exact reason that, as a female, I don't feel comfortable going to auto repair shops. All I can say is Wow! With my "oil change" light flashing for about a week or so, I decided to just pull into Jiffy Lube and get it out of the way. It was a holiday, so I figured I would just spend the time waiting by looking through a magazine or checking out social media! Loved the service! And since I had been here before, they had all my information and began working on my car within 2 minutes of my arrival. I was told it would take about 15 minutes, but I was skeptical. Ten minutes later, my car pulled up...all done! Getting my oil changed, fluids and tires checked was almost as fast as filling up with gas! And I was informed that if I ever needed any fluids or air in my tires, just pull in, and it would be provided for free...it was part of the service! Seriously, it was quick, like under 10 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation! They asked my fleet company for full synthetic oil that was approved, which is the best for my engine. I usually pay so much money for an oil change that never happens and sometimes I'll even get services added to the bill that I never wanted (and probably didn't even happen). PRICE GOUGED! I've been going to this Jiffy Lube location for years. I have spent thousands dollars at this location, and I feel totally taken advantage of. Watch out ladies! I had my car serviced on 3/11/25, and there was a new manager there that I've never seen before. I came in for an oil change, and he later told me I needed a coolant flush. Parts total: $129.99. They charged me $152.98 for labor for less than 10 minutes of work!! I asked the manager why I was being charged so much for labor, and he said we are slow so I put 10 guys on your car. I'm sorry, but I shouldn't be overcharged simply because I'm the only customer there. I certainly didn't see 10 guys working on my car. I also noticed they charged me double the retail cost of my type of air filter. This is very disappointing because everyone here has always been so nice! This WAS a place I trusted. I told the manager I would never come back again, and he seemed totally fine with it. Zero concern about loosing a customer while his guys are standing around with no work. read more
