My husband and I absolutely love Kiin Thai, it's definitely our favorite Thai spot in Burbank! I always order the Panang curry with tofu and he always gets the Khao Soi Chiang-Mai. Both are consistently delicious, and if you like spicy food, will be truly spicy if you ask for it Thai spicy. It's a little on the pricier side compared to some other spots, but well worth it for us. We rarely have leftovers because we can't resist finishing the entrees in one go! read more

I got spicy level just to see how spicy - ITS SPICY. Just about tore a hole into my toilet the morning after. Was worth it. pumpkin curry (5/5): new dish for me. Nice and creamy, coconut milk neutralizes a bit of the spice (I think I ordered mild). Comes with a small container of white rice. Best eaten hot imo thai tea (3/5): their most ordered item, but I've had better. More milk tasting than anything. Sometimes I try drinks w milk because I think the experience may outweigh the lactose intolerance, but this was not the case. Oh. My. Gosh. AMAZING! We have been wanting to try this place for awhile now and regret we waited so long! I mean, absolutely delicious. I got the khao soi, which was like being transported back to northern Thailand. We shared the garlic green beans, so flavorful. We also shared the papaya salad, which was the perfect balance of spice. Another guest at our table got the pad Thai and loved it. The staff was great. Got my order and headed home . Got home and there was no Rice Noodles. Got refunded from grubhub for that . But I started eating the curry and of course there is a hair in it. The cashew nut chicken was a little overcooked so that's taking down one star (it would seriously go down only half a star if they allowed halves. Ordered Pinapple fried rice, Honey wing, Sweet basil eggplant and Spring rolls. We loved them all!! Wing was so tender with flavorful honey sauce, eggplant was the way I loved. It was a take out, so Spring roll got soggy, but it was given. Flavor was still great! What I loved the most was, food came in recyclable containers in paper bag and there was no plastic utensils! Wonderful Thai spot in Burbank! I LOVE KIIN THAI EATERY and I always continue to go back forever. Food is delicious, portion are huge, always friendly service and the owners are a delight. My faves are the Curry Dumplings, Yellow Curry , Pumpkin Curry, P.E.T, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. If you love sweet then you should definitely try Mango with coconut rice. Love it! Great flavors and great service! Enjoyed my first time here and will be back! My mom had the green curry and I enjoyed the spicy basil - both were amazing and had unique fresh flavors. Having lived here for 17 years it's one of the best thai places I have found that doesn't require me driving over the hill into thai town! I've also tried the spicy noodles and love the flavor, pad prik is also amazing and so is the thai iced tea! Mom isn't a fan of egg rolls and really enjoyed the flavor here and actually ate it! New ownership of a place that I liked a lot, this raised the bar a bit higher. Updated interior, clean and, well, updated. Comfortable. The menu is new but many of the prior selections remain, although with new twists. The salad is larger and nicer than previously on the daily lunch specials. The white rice is done nicely and the brown rice is quite good, with their own twists, and considering I dislike brown rice this is saying something. This was good. Very good. Basil chicken and basil tofu. Both outstanding. Portions are the same size as prior ownership, ample and nice size, very nice value. The salad is about twice as large, perhaps three times, with higher quality greens, a cherry tomato, and very good house dressing. Added plus, water carafe on the table, no waiting for refills. Definitely a good place to drop by for a meal, or take out, too. Very reasonable (their dinner meals are irresistible), and the small but attractive restaurant is comfortable and colorful. I've twice gone for the won ton soup, and as much I as I liked it the first time, it was even better the second. Plum, flavorful dumplings submerged in the broth that's clear save for some cabbage. The entree (Yellow Curry one time, and Pad Prik the next) comes with a veggie egg roll which is delicious, crunchy fried goodness. Also, a couple crispy fried won tons. Mmmm. OK, so I was saying YES to everything. Helps when you show up on the hangry side. Choose between the friend rice, brown rice or white rice. The white rice is great, and fits just right for the dishes I ordered. The second trip they accidentally gave me the fried rice -- and though they quickly caught the goof, I had them just leave it as is. This way, I got to try it. And it was good - some veggies, the rice, and not greasy. I enjoyed it, though plain rice is the better complement. The Yellow Curry is excellent; when asked the spice level, I went with medium. Not too intense, but still good. The chicken and the veggies tasted fresh and firm and good. The Pad Prik was also good, and one of their most popular. I gave this place 2 chances and both times they failed. The first time I called and asked if they have curry that's not spicy for kids and they said yes they'll make it not spicy. Guess what it was very spicy and my kids couldn't eat it. I called back and asked them to make it right and their response was sorry we can't do anything about it. This time she said it's impossible to make it completely not spicy. Second time I ordered delivery as I was going to have guests over, they forgot one of the entrees and the rice was in a tiny little box that was supposed to be used for 2 curry items. I ordered the Pad Thai and the Sweet Basil Eggplant and they were both scrumptious. This is definitely a Moms/Pops spot, it looks like a great family spot to support and help succeed. i doordash this place all the time and it's one of my favorite thai spots not only in Burbank, but it's up there on my list of Thai spots in LA in general. often when you doordash food, i feel like sometimes it effects the quality, or they don't put as much effort into the to go orders, but everytime i order from here the food is so flavorful, perfectly cooked, piping hot, and the portions are generous. you can tell that the chefs who cook the food really care about the cuisine. i've ordered several times and the thing that makes me re-order everytime is the consistency. it always tastes the same as the last time, and i can't stress how perfect the cooks are. when i order pad see ew, the noodles are perfectly cooked and have a nice char from the wok, never too oily or soggy or broken noodles. and the fried rice is always perfectly cooked with the perfect amount of protein and veggies. often when you order fried rice it's filled with filler veggies and not a great ratio of rice but kiin thai just delivers perfection everytime :) read more

I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and this place has just become my go to. I have had the pad see we and pad Thai and both were delicious. I got takeout, mind you, and the quality and flavor was not compromised, as it sometimes is with takeout. The food was freshly made, steaming hot, and very the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The dishes are not overly oily, but rather full of flavor. I love that they don't use MSG nor canned ingredients. I'll be coming back for more. Laziest pad Thai I have ever had in my life. It was just noodles with soy sauce and sugar. No peanuts, no chives, no lime wedge, no sprouts, no tamarind paste. i am not a new customer, i've been coming here for a couple years now & the food has been good every time but 2 days ago my husband and I ordered 1 Pad Woon Sen & 1 Wonton Soup (our usual order) to go but when we started eating the Pad Woon Sen it tasted strange (like as if it was cooked in the same uncleaned pan that they use to make their other dishes) but it still had some good parts so we kept eating it and plus we've eaten here before so we didn't think anything of it. The morning after my husband and I woke up throwing up bad & we realized we had FOOD POISONING so now, days later, we are still in pain as im writing this... very disappointed at this restaurant and whoever cooked our food because we were loyal customers but now we will never go back. read more

The orange chicken was very light and tasty--not the usual kind that is mostly overly sweet and heavily battered. My favorite item was the garlic green beans (with Pork). This is the first time I have ordered to go at Kiin Thai Eatery and it won't be my last. It was DELICIOUS! it was very easy to order online, there were descriptions and photos of all. I ordered the basil thai beef and a side salad with side of peanut sauce. My husband ordered the orange chicken, shrimp fried rice and Gyoza. We are not super adventurous eaters but do plan on trying the curry next time. The peanut sauce was so delicious I could of licked it all up. The basil beef had so many layers of flavor to it. The pad thai is a little bland but somehow not in a bad way. It tastes more healthy and less salty (hmm that doesn't make it sound better), but it's good! I also enjoyed their red curry. The lunch specials come with either a salad with peanut dressing or a soup. I would recommend the salad. The dressing is really good, while the tofu soup was nothing special. Our weekly meal out during quarantine brought us here. We drive by almost every day, and wanted to support a local restaurant. We opted for the Shrimp Tom Ka soup, the fried gyoza, the rib eye (Weeping Tiger), the See Ew (beef), and the Orange Chicken. The soup was amazing. It had a more defined balance of flavors than what I've had previously. The coconut milk took center stage, and the spices and slight heat (we opted for Medium heat) paired great. They used halved cherry tomatoes, which yay!, that was so much nicer than the often-too-large tomato slices other places put in. There were only about 4 or 5 small pieces of shrimp (some with the tail still on), so that was probably the only lacking part of it. The fried gyoza was fabulous. Even as takeout, when we got it home, the pieces were still crispy and hot. The rib eye (Weeping Tiger) was a good portion and cooked properly, but it was kind of lacking in terms of being "seared", but for a protein-only item, it worked and was filling. The beef See Ew was decent. The egg being separate from the rest of the dish was a bit unexpected. We opted for medium heat, but dang, that was a good, hearty burn. The Orange Chicken was pretty good too. The Orange sauce had a bright citrus pop and it wasn't overly sugary. I would definitely get the Orange Chicken again as a main dish. read more

I pass by this place on my walks since I live so close and decided to order from here for our anniversary dinner, quarantine edition. I grew up around the SGV and eating at multiple Thai and Asian dining establishments, and I'm disappointed to say this was just not as good. It was just okay, but nothing special. The food was a little bland. I did enjoy the mango sticky rice and I liked that they were able to deliver it with presentation. I ordered right off the website, which if you do will not include a delivery fee (depending on your location, but yelp does it regardless). On the website, the form doesn't have a space for email or something, which I prefer so that I can get a receipt and confirmation notice. Would also be nice if they implemented a tracking system so you can check status of food. The food also did come within estimated time. I probably would not order from here again. read more
