Came to this place after seeing it on Instagram. The parking for this place is not the best. We had to park in the surrounding neighborhood. After we ordered, it took maybe 15-20 minutes to receive our food. The inside isn't the biggest, but we got lucky and got a table. I would most definitely try this place again. I recommend you try it.

After seeing KingBop on TikTok featuring their crunchy sushi tacos, my girlfriend immediately wanted to try it because she loves crunchy food, and honestly, it lived up to the hype. What they do is pretty unique. They fry sushi paper into a taco shell shape, then layer white rice and imitation crab on the bottom before topping it with your protein of choice. We tried the thinly sliced pork belly, fried shrimp, eel, and tuna. They also offer options like calamari and others. The tacos themselves were fantastic. The pork belly especially stood out with really good flavor, and they're generous with the amount of protein they put into each taco. The tuna was probably the weakest of the ones we tried. It sounded better in theory than it actually tasted, so I'd probably skip that one next time. Everything else was excellent. The biggest downside here is honestly the parking and the layout of the location. Parking is rough. The strip mall is tiny, street parking nearby is heavily restricted, and there are a lot of red curbs and permit-only areas. I ended up parking across the street and walking over. A lot of people were double parking too, which made traffic even more chaotic. Inside, you order from a digital kiosk, then wait in a very small dining area for your food. The restaurant was extremely busy even on a Tuesday around 1 PM. I actually felt bad for the people dining inside because the tables are packed tightly together, and then you have customers standing around between tables waiting for orders. Space is clearly limited, but the setup makes it feel crowded very quickly. Waiting outside wasn't much better because there's a dumpster nearby that smelled pretty bad, especially in the heat. That said, once we got the food, grabbed napkins, and went back across the street to eat in the car, the experience immediately improved. The presentation was great, and they even use styrofoam containers with built-in slots that hold the tacos upright so they don't spill or fall apart during transport, which was a smart touch. The staff was also very friendly, and considering how busy and cramped the place was, they handled things well. Overall, I would definitely go back. The food itself is creative, crunchy, flavorful, and genuinely fun to eat. Just be prepared for the parking and tight space situation before you go.

Saw these sushi tacos on YouTube and had to try! Bring your appetite! Y'all ain't ready. First of all they're huge! The shells are battered and fried and so crispy! Which offsets the nice soft comforting fillings. I had the 3 taco special unagi, spicy tuna and salmon. Y'all the crunchy sweet spicy and savory did a number on my taste buds and I LOVE it!! My partner had the pork belly taco. He said it was amazing! I was too full to try it. He also had the bulgogi kimbop roll and it was FIRE!!! I don't know what that sauce was with it but it was absolutely DIVINE! If you haven't tried this place yet WHAT ARE UOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?! It was delivered to us very fast so I can't speak about the ambiance! We definitely plan on stopping in for quite a few bites next time.

Came for the Sushi tacos and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I mean 10/10. I ordered the spicy tuna, salmon and shrimp! Amazing! I shared with all Of my friends. Can't wait to come back. Very small Parking lot. Line can get long so it's nice that you can order ahead and pick up!

This place was trending on socials and for good reason. Had to get my hands on their viral sushi tacos and boy they did not disappoint. Run NOt walk. You won't be disappointed. First of all, these tacos are HUgE. The outer layer is a super crispy seaweed shell that is packed with sushi rice, and your choice of toppings. I ordered their spicy tuna, salmon, and their spicy bulgogi tacos, and they were all fabulous. Spicy tuna taco-sushi rice with a pretty hefty load of spicy tuna and avocado slices on top. Fantastic. Salmon taco: sushi rice with a good portion of fresh salmon sashimi bites and avocado slices. This was good too, and apparently one of the popular tacos. Spicy bulgogi taco: sushi rice with a very good portion of Korean BULGOGI meat, and topped with jalapeño slices which really made this dish. Highly recommend. They also make various kimbops as well. Ordered the egg blob kimbop which is scrambled eggs, diced carrots, lettuce and avocado. Very good. There were so many different types of Kim-bops I would just love to try (apparently they're known for their kimbop before the tacos blew up on social media). They also had other dishes such as the Tteokbokki. Got to come back to try them all...but would come back for just their tacos. Side note, their parking lot is small so you either have to circle around but I suggest parking I'm in the residential for a short time that's just around the corner. Please open more store Highly highly recommend

Kingbop is located on the east end of the parking lot. It wasn't what I expected, it's actually a small location with a bout 6 tables inside. Honestly, not very clean looking and not the best area. You order at the kiosk, they take cards and apple/google pay. I believe you can pay cash at the counter. There were a few people ahead of us so it took about 20 minutes for us to get our order. I wanted to try a bowl from the menu but I was told they no longer sell the bowls. I had the spicy tuna sushi taco which was very good. The sign that says choose 3 save $3 is deceiving since they charge you +.50 cent to $1 for each taco depending on which protein you choose. The parking lot is small and tight.

I had eel unagi taco, it was decent, quite interesting concept of sushi taco. The seaweed was deep fried and imitation crab, sushi rice topped with unagi. The customer service was good.

Went there yesterday (after watching a food blogger recommendation), and I already can't wait to go back!!! There was a line when we got there, touch screen ordering, and only took snoot 20 minutes. Seating for about 20. The perfect combination of lightly battered seaweed wrapper, spicy tuna, salmon, the rice... So good!!!!

Kingbop is an interesting play on foods. I found it to be tasty and unique. The textures and flavor go fairly well together. For me, I think it's a one and done. This is truly a food experiment that is fun and creative. I think for the money, you can get better food. The restaurant is very small. They could probably use another kiosk or two to help move service faster. All in all it was a good experience. Parking here is a disaster too by the way.

My coworker had told me that he ordered King bop and had sushi tacos and I was like that sounds amazing. I had to go, so I ordered online ahead of time. Use the toast ordering online tool service was amazing. I walked in literally they were calling my name it's clean. It's nice. There's a lot of people like you can't even get into the parking lot. That's how crazy it is so if that tells you anything, you must go five stars plus! It was truly a culinary treat. I can't wait to try something else there.

Can confirm that the tacos are worth the hype! Small spot so definitely not a lot of room to sit but pick up was quick. About 15 minutes.

Lines were long, but it moved pretty fast. You self order at a kiosk. We grabbed a table & wiped it down ourselves. No one came out to clean tables or empty the trash while we were there. We got a three sushi taco order and some bulgogi fries. I think. My husband ate those. Back to the sushi tacos, the spicy tuna was the best. It came with a sauce that the salmon taco one needed. The salmon taco was salty. The third taco was some type of beef. It was okay. The meat on the fries was cold. Kinda odd. Overall it was a good experience, we also grabbed Guatemalan sweet bread next door. Good eats, might be back.

This place randomly came up on my timeline of social media apps and the food really drew my attention. The thought of a Sushi taco never came about until I saw this on my phone and the reactions of people trying them. So I ordered their 3 Sushi Taco special and each one had its own special flavor to it. I had their Spicy Tuna, Pork Belly and shrimp tacos. The way these were made and presented were really nice and pretty full. The best part is that first bite of crunch from the taco along with soft fillings of the meat, rice and sauce that blasts of flavor from each taco. I also tried the Crispy Cumin Chili Wings, they were really crunchy, tender and had a nice kick of spicy. Overall this place really satisfied me with their food and I want to go back to try the other tacos.

A guy at a nearby table mentioned that the chicken was overcooked but we requested a light fry and really enjoyed the chicken. The green beans were seasoned perfectly with sliced carrots and onions. The only two issues were the cabbage wasn't seasoned well and needed to be cooked longer. Also the cornbread was not sweet and was reheated in a microwave. Overall all of us enjoyed our meal! Plus the strawberry lemonade was delicious and not too sweet. If back in Cali, I'll be back!

But it wasn't over cooked so it could be saved. Glad I checked my order because it wasn't correct. I ordered the dinner plate with 3 sides. The rice and gravy(barely any gravy), greens were undercooked, cabbage (mistakenly placed in the container) under cooked & Mac n cheese no flavor and kinda of mushy. The peach cobbler is usually better tasting. But yesterday it was missing something. Maybe they changed the cook. I was highly disappointed after paying close to $40.
