Pan Fried Chicken Bun (3)

Caught me by surprised how good this place is. Portions are def big and for the price, I'd say it's pretty worth it. Authenticity is there with some slight changes to fit the palette of where they're surrounded. Highlights: - friendly service - shrimp and crab wonton was packed with meat and flavor - pineapple custard was chewy (my fav) - parking We also got the rice plate, but didn't eat it until the next day so hard to tell on flavor there, but would get again for the price point! I would def come back again

Tasty and great location for dim sum in Hollywood. The staff are very helpful and extremely nice

I heard about this place online and decided to make the trek to Hollywood to check it out. I read all the reviews about parking underground, but I was lucky to find a spot on ground level in the middle of the week, middle of the afternoon. I went with another foodie newbie and we ordered as much as we thought we could finish (we ended up with lots of leftovers). The glutenous rice with chicken was one of our favorites, with lots of chicken filling and a huge portion that could easily serve 4 with an order of 2 pieces. I was looking forward to getting the chicken feet, which was served in a huge portion (I took half of it home). I found it a very mild version of what I'm used to in NYC, but still very tender and satisfying. The pork ribs were meaty, not too fat, and had a nice hint of black beans. The shrimp har gow were fantastic with a thin wrapper, huge chunks of shrimp, and the filling was very lightly handled. One of our favorite items on the menu. The rice paper rolls with BBQ pork were so full of BBQ pork that it was almost like eating BBQ pork with just a thin bit of rice paper. Both the rice roll and pork were tender and delicious. The Chinese broccoli came finely chopped and chilled, which actually made it easier to eat. The pickled cucumber was another favorite dish, so much so that we ordered an extra to go, because it was one of the few dishes we finished! Will definitely be going back to try more dishes!

Love this place! The food is freshly made when you order so comes out piping hot and ready. Everything tastes so incredible this is my go to spot for dim sum when I don't want to leave the city. But even then I think this place tops some places in SGV. After stuffing my face with 2-4 other people the total is usually around $60-$100. So very affordable

Sometimes OC and SGV is really far for some delicious dim sum but this was a fresh and authentic hit close to home for my husband and I :D It was about a ~30 min drive on a weekend morning and luckily, we didn't hit any traffic coming here. Parking is limited on the same level as the restaurant so we found parking underground at the same plaza. It's a small and casual spot that feels cozy. We were the first ones to arrive when they opened and got seated right away. The menu is on a QR code so you can order through online I believe or order with a staff member. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food, which includes the rice noodle rolls with shrimp, Chinese broccoli, salt & pepper chicken wings, pork & shrimp siu mai, shrimp har gow and BBQ pork bun. It was more than enough food and our total was under $50, which is pretty good for dim sum. Thanks Kingdom Dim Sum for satisfying our dim sum craving! :)

Excellent pork shu mai and shrimp rice roll. Service was quick. Prices are higher than usual dim sum places. Atmosphere is basic

Was passing thru the LA area and was craving Dim Sum. This restaurant popped up and the menu items and reviews looked good. We ordered takeout. Ended up wanting more but we were already away from the place. Would like to go back to dine in and try other menu items.

Maybe my judgement is slightly skewed by the fact that i didn't had dim sum in a minute... but damn that was good :-) We really enjoyed everything we ate. Fresh, tasty, good bang for the buck. The staff was friendly, space is small but convenient, easy parking, can do shopping at the same time.

Food 5/5: wow wow wow authentic dim sum never disappoints! This low key is better than Din Tai Feng. Price is more reasonable as well but is on the higher side. But each dim sum is made there and brings out so fresh and hot, I LOVE IT! It comes out fairly fast as well. I highly recommend if you love dim sum Service 5/5: fast and efficient service Ambiance 4/5: a quick diner setting I will come back for more!

Kingdom Dim Sum did a great job for chicken feet. I can tell this is one of the best chicken feet I've had in LA. Their chicken feet can beat some dim sum restaurants in SGV tbh. Other dishes were good too but I definitely recommend chicken feet here if you're craving for some good chicken feet. Prices are slightly higher than other places but portions are generous so I think it's worth the price. I'm glad that I don't have to drive an hour to SGV for dim sum anymore. Thanks again for your good food and service.

Delicious! I love how every dish comes out piping hot & fresh. The shrimp in all the dishes is spectacular. Super juicy and flavorful! Even the fried rice was good. The chicken feet had a kick to them which I enjoyed a lot as well. The bbq pork rice roll fell short for me, I should've gotten the shrimp one instead. Menu is small, simple and gets to the point. Service was nice, food was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

I went not long after they opened. Everything was great but one of my dishes was straight up cold (which is odd since they made everything fresh). They quickly replaced it Customer service? It's really hands off. I ordered everything at once, all the workers were busy. It was empty when I went but they had a lot of DoorDash traffic and a big family came in. Prices were pretty cheap/average comparing to other dim sum places I go to in the 626. Would go again! And the leftovers taste better the 2nd time. Food didn't come all at once but came out as it was cooked. No carts here. Just fyi parking can be a pain on ground level but there's underground parking. One tip? If you order iced water; it kind of had an aftertaste, tasted like fridge. Wouldn't recommend but I had a canned drink and it was great.

Very good place to get cha ca. The portion was decent for 2 people. I added the Rice paper wrapsโ€ฆread more That made it more filling. When the last piece of fish was gone, I wanted more. Came here twice, once a year, for that delicious and amazing and healing fish porridge. The flavorโ€ฆread moredid not change, but I feel like it got even better because here, your memory won't fail you. Right off the boiler, into the beautiful wooden pot, served straight to your table with extra bowls and a ladle. White peppery congee with tender, melt in your mouth white fish -- the perfect amount for the portion. Plentiful ginger, a little vinegar and fish sauce. YES PLEASE. We had to get the wonton soup special again. As we were eating the delicious meal, the other guest on a weekday afternoon was served the house special broiled fish on the hot plate. The sweet aroma filled the room. We almost ordered that too, but we were stuffed. I can't wait to go back and get the broiled fish! Thank you to the amazing Vietnamese aunty and uncle who took such good care of us. They know their food brings people together and heals their soul, and they bring that kind energy while they check on you and drop off your meal. Every penny is worth it going to them.

We came here after attending a Dodgers game and were craving some Chinese food. We ordered the hotโ€ฆread moreand sour soup, chicken with string beans, broccoli beef, and the house chow mein. Overall, we really enjoyed all of the food. The portions were good, everything tasted fresh, and the dishes were flavorful. The hot and sour soup was a little peppery for our taste, but it was still good and had great flavor. The staff were hardworking, attentive, and kept things running smoothly even while busy. We had a great experience and would definitely come back the next time we're in the area looking for Chinese food. Highly recommend!

First off, AI let me down on this oneโ€ฆread more I came here expecting it to hit the mark for some solid kung pao chicken and mu shu pork after what I thought was a thorough search for the best Chinese food in Chinatown. That was my first mistake -- they don't even serve mu shu pork. That one's on me for not checking the menu first. I ended up getting my kung pao chicken and settled for the Mongolian beef, and veggie egg rolls. The Mongolian beef I could definitely pass on. The kung pao chicken was good at first, but somehow lost its flavor as the meal went on. The egg rolls were just okay. Nice and crispy on the outside, but too mushy on the inside for my liking. I was also pretty surprised (and a lot sad) that they didn't have hot mustard. The tea was really good though! Service was fine. The server was attentive, just clearly busy keeping up with all the takeout orders coming through. Ambience is definitely on the lower side here, so don't come expecting a nicer Chinese restaurant. It leans more Santa Ana burger joint vibes. That said, everything felt clean and they were pumping out a ton of takeout orders while we were there, so clearly they're doing something right. Overall, it just didn't hit for me, and I don't see myself coming back.

Many reviewers describe this place as good Americanized Chinese food, after trying it, that'sโ€ฆread moreexactly best way to describe it. Nearly a 50 year old establishment with Chinese food made to cater more towards western palate. A nostalgic place. If you want to taste original Americanized Chinese food, this is authentic in its own category. If you want more authentic ethnic dishes with roots from mainland China, then that's more in the heart of SGV. But Chinese food that is accommodating to most palate, then this is a good try.

Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling after finally eating food that I'veโ€ฆread morebeen craving for ages. I'd seen videos on tik tok, other people experience the amazing food. Then when I get it, it's nothing like how it was shown or even what I thought it would be. I'm talking about the Slippery Shrimp dish. It's, literally, just breaded and fried shrimp. That's it. In a sauce That's not that great. I ordered the Slippery shrimp, Slippery chicken, another disappointment, the veggies that contain baby corn and different types of mushrooms (delicious), vegetable fried rice (also delicious) and the grren beans with minced chicken (another delicious option). The Slippery shrimp and Slippery chicken were not good and entirely too sweet. I usually like the reviews from tik tok but in this case, it did not live up to the expectations.

Wow kinda shocked that this dim sum place only has 3.5 ratings! I came here for brunch and all theโ€ฆread moredim sums we had were so amazing and so good!! The outside looks just ok run down place at China town but really savored every dish. The food wasn't too greasy and foods came out pretty fast. Parking is valet only with cash tip but there are plenty of spots right next to restaurant. I will definitely come back next time when I'm in La and craving dim sum!

I have tried dim sum in the SGV, SF, OC, SD, and even NYC. Recently moved to LA and needed a localโ€ฆread moredim sum spot. We had a weird experience. Do not recommend. Tea was burnt. Har gow wrapper was too thick/chewy and stuck together. Custard bun was dry. Shrimp rice noodle roll was just ok. The food was mediocre. Do yourself a favor and just make the drive to the SGV. Service was worse than could be expected. We were a table for 2 at 9:30AM on a Saturday. We didn't expect to be sat immediately, but we definitely did not expect for three walk-ins *after* us to be sat before we were. Parties of 3, 5, and 8 were all sat before us. I understand as a host, you must maximize space and seat according to size but seriously? They simply didn't want to waste a *whole table* on 2. After 25 minutes they sat us at a 6-person table in the back corner and she said, "You share this table," implying we would be a group table if another small party walked in. Then, no menu, no water, no napkins, no plates until we asked for each individually. Lo and behold, there were still at least 5 open tables an hour later, and we did not in fact need to have other parties join us... the food was definitely not worth this treatment.

Just 5 minutes from The Grove, this spot on Beverly Blvd is amazing for their insane lunch dealsโ€ฆread moreand traditional dim sum. All their weekday lunch specials come with hot & sour soup and an egg roll. I had to get their signature spicy orange chicken which is tangy and perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's seriously such a great deal with the amount they give you. Even their dim sum items are discounted during lunch too so I got all my favorites like shumai, radish cakes, green onion pancakes, string beans, and even the rainbow xiaolongbao sampler which is basically Russian roulette for you to guess the flavor of each. But the real sleeper on the menu are the sweet & spicy corn ribs. Love the nod to the Asian taste profile, and it's sooo satisfying to eat! Thanks for reading! ^-^

I've been coming here for the past two years, and their quality is stayed consistently high, if not even improving! They also have an amazing cocktail menu (which is more unusual for dim sum spots) and weekday lunch special menu from 12-3 PM, which features select dim sum and traditional Chinese dish combos at VERY affordable prices (all under $20).
