Good place to get your pho fixed in the area. Came on my lunch break and sat at the bar. A ton of meat ratio to soup and noodles, although literally fatty slices, and good ice coffee per usual. Have been going to this restaurant for many years. They recently moved a few stores down. New location is smaller but clean and quaint. Busy but not bustling. I like many of their dishes that I have tried, including their vermicelli bowls, but my favorite is probably still the chicken breast pho. Probably because I love pho. The broth is very flavorful and refreshing. Portion is good ($15.25). We also love the summer rolls. They are pricey but big ($12)- just don't add tofu like we did, as it's an extra $5, which is a little steep. And my personal favorite is the egg coffee, which is not on the menu as I have seen, but they do offer it. It's pretty amazing. Service has always been friendly in my experience. Tried this location after trying the Palo Alto one, which was phenomenal. Ordered take-out for the shrimp vermicelli salad yestersay and the chicken vermicelli today. Shrimp was fine, still felt hungry afterwards tho. Today, the chicken was very dried and barely edible. How could they send this out the kitchen? Unacceptable. Tried LeQuy for the first time and it wasn't anything memorable. Their prices are much higher than other pho houses and we didn't think the dishes were worth it. We ordered: Shrimp Spring Rolls ($10.50) - one of the more expensive goi cuons at any restaurant, and it wasn't even that good. The lettuce was chopped too finely so that it would spill out every time you dipped in the peanut sauce (which was disappointing as well). Would have preferred to have some freshness in the roll (some basil, etc) instead of just shrimp and lettuce. Not worth it 2/5 Grilled Shrimp and BBQ Pork Vermicelli ($15.96) - this grilled shrimp was really good, but can get similar quality at a cheaper price elsewhere 4/5 Eye Round Steak & Well Done Brisket Pho ($13.45) - only one size of pho here, and they didn't have just brisket pho, so I got this one. The soup is solid, a decent amount of beefiness with a slight hint of sweetness. The brisket was disappointing though, I couldn't even tell I was eating brisket. I have visited this place a few times over the years and decided to visit again recently. We got the chicken breast meat pho, chicken wings for kids, combination noodle soup for husband and some fried rice. My chicken pho started off with a strong smell of chicken broth but reduced after the first few spoonfuls. The noodles to broth ratio was completely off and I was left with a lot of noodles towards the end that I couldn't complete. The broth came with some spicy sauce but it didn't help much to amp up the flavor of the overall dish. Breast meat is difficult to cook and this dish had overcooked meat as well. The fried rice was bland without much flavor to speak of. Restaurant is pretty old and could do with some facelift while still retaining its original charm. read more

We walked in on Sunday around 11:30 and it wasn't busy at all. We were able to get seated immediately. Most of my friends got pho, but I was more intrigued by their house special clay pot rice (#28a, $15.75), so I got it with two types of meat (bbq pork and shrimp). I'm really glad I tried it, as the the bbq pork was really flavorful and went well with the clay pot rice. The rice itself was cooked with shiitake mushrooms, ginger, and Chinese sausage. It was good, though a bit on the dry side. The clay pot rice also comes with soup and salad, which I wasn't expecting. Overall not bad! My only complaint with my meal was that I only got two pieces of shrimp! I was expecting to be given about equal amounts of both meats, but there was a LOT of bbq pork but only two shrimp. That ratio seems a bit off... My friends all liked their pho, but the one friend who got the sea bass fried rice said it was really bland, so don't get that! Service was pretty good. My family and I really love Le Quay. Some of the items we love are the grilled pork and egg roll noodle bowls, chicken pho, and the chicken wings. T he pork egg noodle bowls have very tasty bbq grilled pork with a lot of various veggies like lettuce, carrots, cucumber, pickled veggies, etc. The egg rolls are great too and have lots of flavor. You can get an combination of both grilled bbq pork and egg rolls (even though this isn't on the menu). The chicken pho was a good portion and very flavorful. The chicken needed to be more tender. The noodles were nice as well but nothing fantastic. The chicken wings were a huge hit! They are crispy, flavorful, and oh so tasty! We all loved these as a family and have gotten them numerous times. They are also a little sticky and sweet. So delicious! The service was great and the waitress checked in with a us few times and always made sure we had enough water. She was also very friendly and was able to answer any questions that we had. I actually haven't dined here yet, but we order frequently on DoorDash and the food travels well. I've been meaning to check it out in person, but we don't really visit the area. Solid option in this area. It's definitely more expensive than what I prefer from Vietnamese restaurants, but there are not many options close to us in the Quito area SJ, Los Gatos, Saratoga. Good food, options are a bit limited IMO so they cater more to the local limited tastes. The chia gao is egg roll style, I prefer the rice paper ones. Overall if you want Vietnamese in this area go for it... but going a bit further in San Jose and I think you can find better values. read more

My friend and I came for some bun bo hue on a cold and rainy night. This was my first time trying it so I was excited to see what it was like. The broth had a kick but wasn't really spicy. They have a wide variety of dishes on their menu in case you're not looking to eat pho. Pho Tai broth was extremely flavorful and the cuts of meat were very high-quality. Its a nice cozy spot located in Campbell that is probably one of the best places that we have been to , for our Pho cravings. Clean and very well maintained along with ample social distancing make it for a perfect dinner spot during pandemic times. Some good old vegetable soup is what i had while my wife got the Eye round steak noodle soup. We always ask for more and more of sprouts and basil. Crazy good! I'm drooling just thinking about these two dishes. The tofu vermicelli salad really stood out to me because of how fresh the tofu was. Instead of the stale crispy tofu a lot of places will give you, LeQuy had soft, fresh, and amazingly seasoned tofu. My fiance and I were looking for somewhere to eat after going to the gym and we decided we wanted Vietnamese food. We went on Yelp to look for Vietnamese food in the area and we came across LeQuy! We were nervous that it might have been another place that we have gone to in the same plaza and they were not good, but it was actually on the opposite side of the plaza! They have a large parking lot since they share the lot with some other businesses and some other restaurants, so there's definitely no issue in finding parking. We noticed there were already a lot of people that were seated and eating and we were honestly surprised because we didn't expect there to be people eating at such a late time. The time we got there was a little after lunch time. And it seemed like a lot of people were happy with their food and with the service. We were seated right away and they gave us some water. As we sat down. My fiance decided to order a bowl of pho and I decided to order the curry but instead of rice, I asked for a baguette. The servers were very nice and let me know that it was okay to substitute the rice for the baguette. The food didn't take too long to come out, which was great because it was so busy. My fiance said that his pho was pretty good and then my curry was also pretty good but it was more on the sweet side. I feel like it might have just needed some salt. The amount of food for the price is also pretty good, I think the price of the curry was a little high compared to other places. I've had curry with a baguette. But the pho price was around the same compared to other places in San Jose. Overall, if we are in the area we would come back and maybe try some other dishes.
