The $1 bubble tea pitcher was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure if they use condensed milk or something similar, but it's just a bit sweet, no boba and complements the hotpot well. Our party of 3 dropped by around 530pm on a Sunday. No wait. Place looks a little cramped. I'm not sure if we were seated in a 2 person table, but there was not a lot of space even on the table or in the booths. I kept hitting my friend and reached over him to grab food. You place your orders on the iPad and they bring it out in a timely fashion. As others have noted, the broth is not included. So on top of the AYCE, we also ordered the 3 flavored one for an additional $20. I think each individual one was around $14/15. Never had to wait too long for our selections. I feel like they didn't have a lot of options with regard to the meats. We didn't get the beef tongue but ordered the rest (lamb, fatty beef, pork belly), but felt like we were consistently eating the same few options over and over. One thing I did enjoy was how flavorful their broths were! We had the pork bone, tomato, and the duck. I tried all of them, and they were actually like my friend calls it, "the type of soup your mom makes when you're feeling sick". I also had the corn and the skewers option (comes with one piece per person) and the meat was tender!! Delicious. Their sauce station and free juice/tea station is right upon the entrance.

This is now my favorite Chinese hot pot lunch special place. For just under $30, it includes a soup base and a limited selection of food. The fatty beef is still good quality. There's still a selection of hot appetizer and dessert soup. Good thing is that it comes with soup and you can always add a third broth for $2.99. The golden chicken broth has always been my favorite and must gets. Overall a great lunch spot for a weekday.

With so many hot pot locations in Flushing, this AYCE location is still one of my favorites that I have been to. It looked like this place only does 1 large pot per table compared to individual pots. You can split the broth up to 3 types. We got the 2-broth split pot with "Liu House Special Soup Base" and "Tomato Soup Base", both were above my expectation in flavor. They have a sauce station that you make yourself and prepped food that is ready to eat such as edamame and seaweed salad. Also, a drink station with water, orange juice, passion fruit juice and iced tea. Everything is ordered on the tablet that is at the table and the staff there are very observing since every time we have an empty plate/dish they would come back and remove it from our table. It came out to $53 per person with tax and tip for an AYCE location that serves higher than average ingredients. Overall I would come back again since I enjoyed it a lot and it is well maintained. 4.5 stars Nice all you can eat hotpot place with decent prices and good options. It's about $35 per person on the weekend plus the soup base price (about $16). It includes a small appetizers bar, sauce bar, some fruits, and free drinks (iced tea and juices). The passion fruit juice was really good. We had the split pot with tom yum soup and spicy lamb spine. Both are a bit spicy. The tom yum is sour. I prefer the lamb spine. They have a variety of options from meats to seafood to veggies and noodles. There are some that are a la carte. Ordering was easy since it was from a tablet and they were pretty quick.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 7 Decor: 6 Value: 9 Overall: 8 This AYCE hot pot franchise has been consistently good over the years. I have been here many times and generally happy with the food and service. Obviously, the quality may not match Haidilao or Chongqing Lao Zhao, but the price is nearly half for as much as you can eat. If your preference is not fresh seafood or high end quality meats, then you really can't go wrong with this veteran hot pot restaurant. You see many hot pot restaurants in Flushing come and go, but this place still stays busy on most nights. As for hot pot broths, I have tried nearly everything. My favorites include their signature spicy, the golden chicken w/ fish maw, the sour duck & radish, and the peppery chicken w/ pig stomach soup bases. Spicy lamb spine and mushroom broths are good too. For must order items, get the lamb slices, six second tofu rolls, napa cabbage, bok choy, shrimp paste, basa fish slices, tofu skin sheets, shiitake mushrooms, quail eggs, and SPAM (yeah, trust me). Btw, don't fill up on appetizers, but their marinated pig ears are surprisingly good. Then, after your hot pot meal, come back to the same counter and get some fruits and desserts, or ask the waiter for some Hersey's ice cream cup. Honestly, it's not the best hot pot in Flushing, but for less than $50 after taxes and tip, this is quite a good deal.

Delicious Hot Pot restaurant in Flushing! They have an assortment of appetizers including some cold dishes, warm apps and drinks. We got the 3 soup base combination with Golden Chicken, Tomato and Pork Bone. My favorite was the Golden Chicken base which was nice and thick and perfectly flavored. I haven't tried anything like it before. I didn't even have to use my wife's tasty blend of dipping sauces. Just keep in mind that the AYCE price does not include the soup base, which can range from $12-18. The variety of meats, seafood, mushrooms, veggies, tofus and noodles, etc were great as well. The meat was nice and fresh, and my favorite was the beef and lamb slices. They also have ice cream which is great to finish the meal. The only downside is that the service is quite lackluster. The main waiter was crabby and not very nice, but the other waiter helping him out was better. Price is a bit expensive, but you get a lot for your money. Parking is available across the street in a lot, but it is costly.

Expeditious delivery once items were ordered to the table. The seafood and beef selections were good, with the shrimp, mussels, and crabs being sizable. The pig brain was unusual but not terrible. The pre-cooked items were tasty, including the pig ear, but perhaps could've offered more variety of items.

My new fav hot pot in town. I love how they have my fav AYCE side dishes (crawfishes and brown sugar jelly).

The best Chinese MaLa buffet in Queens! I've been here multiple times over the years, and every time I'm in NYC, I make sure to stop by. Every item is unique and packed with flavor! The last time I went during happy hour, it was only $30 per person--and that included not just meat and hot pot ingredients, but also appetizers and ice cream! I'm obsessed with the sesame balls they were amazing! And the Sichuan MaLa soup is a definite must-try. Highly recommend this spot!

this sunday my boyfriend and i went to this hotpot location, the food and sauce bar is well but the hot food section the food was cold don't know why since it's a HOT bar. the service was alright they did resolve one problem for us and when it was time to pay i found it awkward that the server stands there and holds the tablet while you pay. my boyfriend and i found it extremely awkward, we were a party of two and didn't order much, literally one plate of meat three veggies and we didn't require them to constantly be coming to our table so it was barely any work for our table, so naturally he tried to tip 5$ and the server pulled the tablet away and looked at it and said "oh this isn't enough you need to do atleast 18%" 18% tip on our already 95$ bill? for whaaattt??? i actually told him i've never seen a hot pot place REQUIRE you to do 18% tip and more. plus in AYCE why am i paying a fee on top of 16$ for soup base? what sense does that make. anyway, don't go here unless you wanna be forced to tip, eat at a cold hot bar and be looked at by workers like they don't want you there. I have yet to find a hotpot place that doesn't feel uncomfortable to customers.

Boyfriend and I decided to try a new hotpot place so we came here to give it a try. We went on a Saturday night around 8:30. We waited for around 10min and got seated. This place is AYCE but the price didn't include the broth. We ordered the spicy beef tallow and Tom yum broth. The Tom yum broth was really good and it almost tasted like it was from a Thai restaurant! I normally don't drink broth from hotpot places from I couldn't help and drank some of it. There were a lot of varieties for meat and veggies and they were all fresh. They had some premium items such as beef tongue and shrimp paste but they were only okay. The beef tongue's texture and color were a bit odd. It was brown and looked like it was cooked. I cooked it in the broth regardless since I wasn't sure and the texture tasted like it was braised. The shrimp paste also didn't have that nice chew to it. Overall experience was decent. Service was fast but I feel like the servers had trouble understanding us sometimes. AYCE was $32 per person and broth was another $18, which is not too bad for AYCE. The portion that they gave was slightly too big in my opinion for all you can eat. We only ordered one round and that was more than enough food. I wish they would make it a little smaller so we could still try different things with only two people.

    Good food

Service very good and hotpot are testy will come back again try the all you can eat buffet

    Andrew T.

The depth and breadth of the menu is wide. Just for tripe selections alone, the menu offers five potential options to choose from. Meat options are galore. The original spicy soup base with premium beef oil is a fiery concoction infused with Sichuan peppercorns, dried chilis, and a symphony of secret spices. This broth is not for the faint of heart with casual spice sensitivities. Spicy, but still flavorful and deep. The meal is an exercise in creativity and exploration. The AYCE price point is great, given the quality and array of food available. The dessert array, including fruit jelly and ice creams, are a welcomed accompaniment to the spicy main event. My only complaint is the area is notoriously difficult for parking.

The other 30% was unappetizing, the dimsum was sad looking and lacking variety, oyster grilling station took forever to cook, the crabs were lacklustered and didn't taste fresh. Overall, I can't say it's the best quality of foods however, the selection was huge and for the price, this was actually very good! The service was great. However, when we arrived, nobody was at the front counter, so we walked to the inside counter to ask to be seated. The front desk guy clearly just came in for his shift since he was hurrying on his cell phone, carrying bags and had his jacket on. He came over looking very busy and disheveled, and when my mom politely asked if we should wait here to be seated, he rudely responded, "Well if there's no one at that counter then you come to this counter if you see the sign." Meanwhile... there was no sign saying that when we left. My mom was just asking a simple question, so the attitude was unnecessary. Just because you're stressed or running late doesn't mean you take it out on customers. F him for being rude to my nice mom and never coming to this place again. As for the food, it was pretty mediocre overall, that experience left a bad taste. The sushi selection had a good variety, and the desserts were honestly the best part. They have a chocolate fondue station plus vanilla, matcha, and swirl soft serve ice cream machines. At least the place was clean. The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one. For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu. The place is clean and nice. For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced. We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it. Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things. The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it. The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow. The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty. The vegetables are fresh and clean. After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy. I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like. This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy. So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.

We walked into a large, old-school Chinese dining space with a spacious layout that makes it suitable for groups and family meals. The dining room has that familiar bustling energy of a traditional dim sum hall, with carts circulating through the aisles and tables filled with families and groups sharing multiple dishes across the table. The atmosphere is loud and lively, which fits the style of the food and the interactive nature of the cart service. The biggest appeal is the variety of food available. The dim sum selection covers many classic favorites, including dumplings, steamed dishes, pastries, and barbecue items. The roast meats, including roast duck and roast pork, were some of the highlights, with the duck having a crisp skin and tender meat that held up well against the hoisin sauce. The seafood options added another level to the menu, with shrimp dumplings and other seafood-based dim sum items offering a clean, fresh contrast to the richer roast meats. Prices are also a strong point, especially for dim sum, making it a good option for a larger meal without spending too much. The food quality can vary depending on what you order. We found some dishes enjoyable and well executed, while others felt less consistent. The best experience comes from sticking with the classic dim sum staples and popular Cantonese dishes rather than trying random items from the menu. The restaurant works better when dining with a group, as it allows you to order and share a wider range of dishes, and the portions are generous enough to accommodate a shared meal. Service is more functional than attentive, which is common in busy dim sum restaurants. The staff moved through the dining room efficiently, clearing plates and refilling tea, but the pace of the meal is driven more by the cart service than by table-side attention. The large dining room can get loud and crowded, especially during peak hours, but that also contributes to the traditional Cantonese restaurant atmosphere. The cart system can make the meal feel more interactive, although it may require some patience during busy periods when carts are moving quickly through the aisles. East Buffet is a solid choice for traditional dim sum and Cantonese food, especially for groups looking for variety and value. It may not deliver the most polished dining experience, but the combination of classic dishes, seafood options, and affordable pricing makes it a worthwhile stop when you are craving a traditional dim sum meal. The energy of the room and the variety of the carts create a dining experience that feels authentic and communal, even if the quality of individual dishes can vary across visits.

There's always a huge variety of food being served and every wedding feels lively and unique. There's always something entertaining happening throughout the event, which makes the atmosphere feel fun and memorable. The venue does a good job accommodating big parties, and the traditional wedding experience. One area that could definitely use improvement, though is the restroom maintenance. The ladies room floor was very wet during the event and they ran out of toilet paper which wasn't ideal for guests. Overall, if you're attending or planning a large wedding celebration, this venue offers a festive atmosphere, plenty of food and a lively experience.

I absolutely fell in love with this restaurant! I only wish we had one closer to where we live…read morebecause I'd be here all the time. The food was incredibly fresh, everything was clean, and the quality really stood out. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The only downside is the parking, which can be a little challenging. If you come at the right time, though, you can usually find a spot right in front of the restaurant. Other than that, I have nothing but great things to say. If you're ever in Queens or anywhere in New York, I highly recommend stopping by at least once. You won't regret it! We'll definitely be back!

Well, then for Mother's Day, my mom decided she wanted to try Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta out. And we loved it! Hot pot AND BBQ all in one? Yes please. There was a generous assortment of hot foods including garlic fried rice (so flavorful!), fried eggs, chicken nuggets and fries, tom yum soup, fried fish and shrimp, and chicken wings, among others. The main buffet area has a variety of veggies, fish and lobster balls, noodles, pork, seafood, chicken, and beef dishes, as well as a sauce and utensils bar. They have an amazing desserts section as well with shaved ice, smores, cake slices, and mango sticky rice (I believe this is seasonal). Service was fantastic as they kept coming by to refill our water, broth, and change out our grill. We were on the waitlist for an hour before getting a table, but it was well worth it (and I understand why there's always a line to get in here). We will definitely be returning!
