Food is great and the customer service is amazing. Reminds me of IHOP but with a bigger variety of options.

Food was pretty good. I got the ham and cheese melt with hash browns on the side. It wasn't bad at all but I noticed that both the hash browns and the bread tasted like pure butter. So after a while I couldn't bring myself to finish it. I also got an iced coffee, very delicious if you like sweet iced coffee. And they serve it in a "to go" cup with a straw which is convenient if you wanna take it with you once you've finished your meal. Great place to try but idk if I'd go here again because of the overwhelming taste of butter in my food. read more

I'm just sad I didn't have enough room to finish it all I ordered the chicken fajita omelet that came with 2 pancakes and hash browns (I opted for the country potatoes instead & I'm so glad I did!). The omelet had big ol chunks of grilled chicken on top and yummy melted cheese inside, topped with salsa & sour cream. Those potatoes were perfectly seasoned with onion and bell peppers. My friend and I had a great time enjoying the atmosphere here. It has a family friendly setting and a great vibe. Good prices and we got a delicious amount of food. Ok to start I wait 30-40 min to get a table now once I was sited in the table I was ready to orde and wait another 40min to get ,y food and when I got it...it was cold.....then I ask for the check and the check was 24.70 I give the server 30usd the he said do you want change? I said yes... I question myself why is he asking if I want change everything is going bad to leave a tip... del ok I said yes bring the change... then he came back very slick with a 5 dollar bill and 40cents change and I ask do you have singles and he already took the the 5usd bill and then then he smile and said yes bit I was disappointed and ready and I said just keep it... I live closed from this p,ace that's why I give it another try but I think is the last time I'll be going back....to top it off I ask for the Wi-Fi and there's not Wi-Fi ....the only good thing ,coffee never stop props to that..... still 30usd is a lot to spend for one person and for a simple breakfast. read more

When we arrived at the restaurant, the parking lot had two handicapped spots. The bathroom was relatively clean and handicapped accessible. There were plenty of seating however tables were close together and on the smaller side, 4 people in one booth was tight and we all had to take our jackets off. It was nice and quiet, no music played, it was very will lit and service was great. It took us 5 minutes to be seated 15 minutes to receive our food. Ok so I want to start off by saying I've been to this place many times and this review is based off of this one particular time I went there because every other time it has been great. I went to eat with a small group of 4 on 10/13, usually the wait time is quick but this time it took over 30 minutes to be seated when they had said it was a 15 minute wait. We finally got called and seated and then got a female waitress that was very rude and it seemed as if she didn't want to be there, she looked irritated. She didn't even greet us. Fast forward to when we finally got our food after being there for an hour, I asked for a strawberry banana waffle with no banana because I'm ALLERGIC (the waitress suggested the strawberry Nutella one because they don't have just a plain strawberry one and I said no) mind you, I made sure I said no banana and told her I was allergic. When I got my food hallway through the waffle I found a banana, I told the manager and she took it to the back to get me a new one made. At this point I was angry because the wait time and now my food had to be remade and everyone else was already eating. The manager didn't say sorry or anything, she returned the food and went back to helping host guest. When it came time to leave I asked for a discount because I could have ate the banana without knowing and be in the hospital for an allergic reaction (my lips swell and anaphylaxis) the waitress told me no they wouldn't be able to give me one so I asked her to ask the manager (I'm not one to complain but this was something serious). She leaves to ask the manager and returns and says there's nothing they can do so I continue to complain and then she FINALLY says she will take off the side of hash browns (only 2.99 or 3.99) from my order which wasn't even my food it was someone else's food who was with me. So I said something is better than nothing but I feel like they should have taken off my meal for THEIR mistake. I used to love this place and so did my mom, I was excited to take my friends their to try it but now I feel like I can't return because of this horrible experience. Management needed to do more than what they did, if I would have ate the banana they would have a lawsuit on their hands. This is ridiculous and the situation wasn't handled properly. Decided to try this place out with kiddos since I've heard it's a good place to eat. Well my 2 cents for this restaurant don't agree.... food is mediocre... i got the regular french toast combo.... my hash browns were extra well done(didn't even ask for this) butter didn't melt it stayed hard, 1 sad sausage cut in half, and the FF where just meh.. And the only choices for salsa all had habenero. Diff colors, but same flavors... price wise a bit over expensive. Don't see how reviewers say it's descent when Dennys is cheaper and more flavorful. !!!!!!!DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!After today's visit, this place has definitely lost my business!!.My family and I came in at a time when the restaurant was almost empty ( There we're literally 2 other occupied tables) so of course we claimed perfect timing and assumed that it would be a decent early dinner... WRONG!! We were seated promptly, placed our orders and then our decent dinner went left. We waited 45 min for our simple 3 person orders to come out and when it did... my pancakes we're as thin as paper, hard as a chip and far from edible & my Daughter's Nachos came out with about 2 teaspoons of mystery meat and NO CHEESE( How do you ruin nachos??)!!! I asked the waiter of he could have the pancakes remade and his response was that that's how they're made! Are you kidding me? But wait there's more.... Their solution for my daughter's cheeseless nachos was to bring her a bowl of Frozen shredded cheese expecting her to just pour that over her nachos! They ended up taking back my chip-cakes and her bare nachos and returning 25 minutes later with pancakes that weren't completely done and the SAME PLATE of nachos that they had removed from the table earlier including the FROZEN CHEESE on the top! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME AND FIND THE NEAREST DENNY'S OR IHOP BEFORE PULLING INTO THIS PARKING LOT AND REGRETTING IT LATER. read more

So we went yesterday for Mother's Day, service was amazing. So we order coffee and water to start off when they brought it out one of the blue water cups still had lipstick on it which was very discussing. We ignore it didn't wanna say anything and just left it on the side. Food came out everything looked good but the pancakes were not cook all the way the inside was still raw. I took a bite of it and it would get stuck on top of my mouth. Rice didn't have flavor very dry. Menudo broth was very good but the actually menudo meat was over cook like if they had reheated from the night before. The funny part was I ended looking at the reviews and showed my girl the comment that talked about the cups having lipstick and the pancakes not being cook. I did like that they had sugar free syrup for my son. personal reason. I feel really bad writing a bad review because the people are very nice. I'll give it another chance some other day cause I love mazapán and they have mazapán waffles which I didn't get to try. read more

We came to Long Beach for a family wedding. This place was super close and from reading yelp it sounded like a good choice! We were a large group of 9. We were seated very quickly and the waitresses did a good job. Very happy with their service, food, and hospitality. I'm sad I don't live closer!! Very good choice over a Denny's or an IHOP any day! Came in for a 'clear your head' breakfast and wasn't expecting much. Sweet Jesus, was I blown away. Super attentive and *sweet* service, the basics were good, but the multigrain blueberry and banana pancakes with honey....MMMMMmmmmmmm, SO good. And on the healthy side. NOTE: This restaurant is located in area that is not the best part of Long Beach (emphasis on the 'not'). Growing up, I have passed by this place hundreds of times, if not thousands, and it has always been an (abandoned looking) IHOP. I didn't know this place was under construction or transformed into something else until my boyfriend recommended me here. As we pulled up closer to the restaurant, I noticed a HUGE private parking lot (it might have appeared bigger since it was so vacant). I love when an establishment has a private lot of its own. IT'S A MAJOR PLUS FOR ME. The moment we walked in, the first thing I noticed was how empty the restaurant was for a Friday night. VERY SURPRISING. We were kindly greeted by a young male. There were only two other tables occupied. The decor of the place looked clean and organized. I could tell that the menu was hugely influenced by Mexican culture. I ordered the chicken fried steak with chicken noodle soup. I was not pleased with my food; everything tasted soooo salty. On the contrary, my boyfriend ordered the steak and shrimp combo and it tasted pretty good, but his clam chowder tasted watered down. I dub this place as a "hit or miss". My overall impression of this place reminds me of a Denny's, but with Mexican flavor to it. read more
