Bought a groupon for a $26.99 oil change. I figured pay a little bit more than all these other scam artists with their "9.99" specials and go to a "reputable" business. WRONG!!!! I got the SAME UPSELL PRESSURE BULLSHIT. I just wanted a dam oil change but it can never be that simple. First of all I tried to go yesterday but was told I needed an appointment, so I made an appt for today at 10 am and guess what.......its 11:24 and I am STILL waiting. I am leaving this shiesty place and going to ask Groupon for a refund because these people just sat here and lied to me to my face and told me that my car REQUIRES full synthetic oil which is BS. I know it is BEST to have full synthetic oil but I also know a car will run with any oil, synthetic just offers more protection from breaking down. If a person changes their oil pretty regularly, you dont need to worry about viscosity breakdown. Why sell a Groupon for "synthetic blend" if you refuse to put it in my car? I am concluding my unfavorable rating on this place because its now 11:30 and I am leaving from my "appointment". Why are ALL repair shops about scamming people? So I went to go get an interlock on my car and we were greeted but the front desk person made everything sound good. I got the interlock & when I get my car back my a.c was cut out and the air didn't work at all . had to wait a week in the Vegas hot scorching sun to get my ac back on .So we then returned the car and it was still not finished. By the second time we picked it up still not finished. It took three times for them to fix my ac , that they broke. At first they told us they weren't going to fix it. finally got my ac fixed and my quarter panel is still not put back on correctly. Neither is my bottom panel or open hood button which is completely missing now. I have a witness who was with me as well. Neither is my breathalyzer working correctly sense they touched it. After when the-young lady was approached at the front desk she was rude & non attending. Still haven't got it repaired and still have the breathalyzer on my car. worst service ever my car got lost in the midst of their appointments for over a week. The guy at the front desk Cody claimed that he was on it however, the only thing they were trying to do is continuously add to my bill. The management was there one day I showed up and they couldn't tell me what was going on with the truck other than they had found some other issues that but had still not fixed the original problem. Then had me come pick up the truck after several days of working on it and said a specialist come to set the timing however they did not tighten the distributor bolt. So of course the timing adjusted as it was driving and then it stopped driving less than a block away. They also broke several parts, including my cold air intake, and the plastic clip that was on the cold air that the was destroyed. They attempted to upsell upsell me upsell me, and still never complete. The original job that the truck was taken in to be performed. read more

As a single woman, with no knowledge of car maintenance other than put in gas, I was always afraid I will be taken advantage of by mechanics. I started going to Midas about two years ago and have never been worried since. Just last week I went in for someone to look at my brakes because they were squealing. The mechanic took a look and came back to tell me that there was nothing wrong, they had just gotten wet in the heavy rain we had. I was really surprised. I have always been treated fair when I had an oil change or tune-up but thought for sure they would say I needed all new brakes whether I did or not. The team at this Midas is amazing! My wife's Mercedes was involved in a hit and run and a body shop quoted several thousand dollars in repairs. Since Midas fixes our cars, I took the car to these guys. Well, what a miracle! They went out of their way to shop around get all the parts as cheap as possible and did all of the mechanical and body repairs at a small fraction of the cost quoted by the body shop. This was very important, as our insurance does not cover uninsured driver damages. End everything is working perfectly fine. Besides, they treated us like we were part of the family, gave us rides home, and showed genuine concern for our well being! read more

I have been in Las Vegas less than 2 years and my brother has been here 4 years. We were loyal customers with a large chain in California tired of taking my car in for one thing and being told three other things needed repair. My brother told me to take my car to Tom at Midas and I finally did. The staff is very friendly and professional. I had a eval leak and price was fair and work completed on time. I was not told oh by the way you need this and this. I am referring all my friends and family to Tom he is very knowledgeable and has an excellent team. I will never take my car any where else. Wouldn't you know when visiting Vegas in my buddy's car, we have problems with the radiator overheating. We were close to this Midas when it happened, so we figured we would be safe getting the repair done here, since they are a well known nationwide company. The staff was nice and very professional. They had the repair done in no time at all. The most surprising thing is, it was not too costly, considering we were from out of state (California). We had a very positive experience here and would recommend them to other potential customers. read more

I was really impressed with the service here! They were quick, friendly and professional. I really needed to get some repairs done, so that I could pass my smog check, and renew my registration. They got everything done in one day, and they weren't obnoxious about upselling me. I was really happy with the service, and the price- I felt like everything was fair and reasonable. The guys here do a fantastic job, I had to get my brakes checked so I went there, they checked them out and let me know that one of my front pads needed changing and the other was close. They even showed me how they were wearing down. I have been to other places and the try to rake you over the coals but they were professional and got it done quick. I have read other reviews and am surprised. This Midas location has done right by me on 2 of my vehicles. Tom and John have been great and kept me informed about issues . I will continue to use them despite the distance i have to drive to get there . for me its worth it. read more

AWEFUL crooks. They sold me a bonk battery and then changed management or ownership and when I went back to tell them less than a year later the new management tried to somehow turn the bad battery into my fault. This place is a joke and they are thieves. read more
