Found this cute brunch place. Wait isn't too long typically as people are coming and going. No check in paper or anything. You just stand in a line until they seat you. The crab Benedict was yummy! The poached egg was nice and runny. Good price for crab Benedict as I normally see more expensive ones. The potato's are well seasoned although they are pretty large pieces so I didn't feel all were cooked well. The Eleanore R special was a bit underwhelming. Essentially eggs on top of potatoes with salsa and guacamole. The biscuit was nice, warm, and soft. Very good with some butter on it. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and tasted amazing. I definitely recommend it. I was hesitant with the pumpkin spice matcha latte but the taste works. It's matcha latte with pumpkin spice syrup. My only complaint is the price: a small separate drink menu has a list of seasonal lattes, prices are listed as $5.50. But when the check came, it turned into $7.50: $5.50 for matcha latte, +$1 for pumpkin spice, +$1 for oat milk. Although i enjoyed it, almost $8 for a latte is a big splurge. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area! read more

What's the deal? Only piece of toast? No hash browns on weekends? Hard to support this place. Overrated - would eat elsewhere in Pasadena. Try Pie n Burger or Marstons. Better Mexican breakfast down the street at Burrito Express. read more

My family and I went here after my toddler's heart checkup at a local hospital. The Vegan menu was packed with options. I ordered the vegan blueberry pancake usual with the hot link, hash browns and tofu eggs. The pancakes stole the show! That said, everything on my plate was delish. And the apple juice my toddler had tasted so fresh. My toddlers shared a regular vegan pancake usual and they loved it! They had such a good portion that they ate this for another meal later that day. I highly recommend Millie's. read more

The food was amazing, the service is a little slow for me it took more than 20'minutes to get me coffee. Basic coffee. The ambiance is busy busy so much so after drinking my last sip of coffee I was asked to leave the table. Rude. I don't care how busy a restaurant is you should never ask your patrons to leave. Definitely worth it! They have outdoor dining on the street. In general, the portions were great and fulfilling! Orders: - Veggie Mess: sister enjoyed it a lot and felt very satisfied with her order. Generous portion of veggies! - Chicken and Waffle: chicken can be a bit more flavorful and moist but the presentation was appealing and the butter and syrup were awesome! I love coming to Millie's after a long night out or a bender. Their service is always A1. Im always amazed on how quickly they bring out the food!!! The pancakes here are incredible. Each pancake is thicc, soft, but has a nice little crust on its edges. I've done both buttermilk and blueberry and they did not disappoint! Real good brunch food! I went during Covid, and they were PACKED. It seemed like a long line when I got there but that was prob just due to social distancing hahaha. It looked like I had to wait 45 min but I only waited 15 just like they said when I asked. They put out plastic curtain dividers on the outdoor seating so they could circumvent social distancing, and it ended up feeling pretty compact in there. I went on a windy day and one curtain was actually loose and a bit bothersome, especially to the table next to use that kept getting hit by it hahaha. Real solid LA brunch food. My first time trying chicken fried steak and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant was super busy and service was efficient. Easily one of my favorite brunch spots in LA! I am obsessed with their matcha options and their waffle was the perfect brunch option! Probably my favorite matcha spot in LA too! The service wasn't bad and did what they needed to do in a timely manner. The restaurant was so packed but our timing worked out and our group was seated right away. read more

Food was delicious. I absolutely loved the chilaquiles inside of the omelette. It was such a great concept however I wish it was spicy. I paired it with the Matcha Latte which was absolutely great. The service was quick. I sat at the bar and it was so fun to hear the cooks talk to each other but also ask if everything was great. Our server was so attentive & kept checking on us. He even gave us a plastic cup with ice so I could take the remaining half of my matcha with me. Ambiance is fun and welcoming. Parking was a little complicated but as soon as we arrived to the restaurant then we were seated. There was no wait. I will definitely return! read more

We went here in a Monday morning for breakfast. Cute spot right in the heart of sunset. Table out front to enjoy the scenery. When we arrived at 1000 we were seated immediately. It's a busy place so it took a minute for someone to take our order....we actually had to flag someone down. Nonetheless, once we ordered our food came out right away. They give large portions so if your not that hungry you can share a plate. I order the shrimp scramble, which was pretty good. The vibe here is laid back, cool California vibes, relaxed, people watching as you will get foot traffic because your right by the sidewalk. It was Sunday, and God said let there be brunch, and there was. Sunday Brunch is a highly attended event but at noon there was (thankfully) hardly a wait (they just ask that your entire party be present before you're seated). The California Burrito was packed with every imaginable ingredient that uttering its name invokes - chicken, bacon, avocado - all things that usually cost extra to add, all for $14 In true California fashion, they have a great selection of vegan dishes for your friends who are vegan or for friends who have dairy allergies but want to add a side of bacon with their vegan pancakes Parking is atrocious and we had to park a 7 minute walk away up a hill after driving around for 15 minutes looking for a spot, but, worth it? Great food and huge portions! I suppose you can find healthy items, but you may not want to given all the options for giant sweet and savory specialties. Apparently, their gluten free pancakes are great too. Most of the seating is outdoors, but there are some tables inside. It's got a nice grungy vibe - and that's meant to be a compliment. Clean, just lots of graffiti and stickers. read more

This has to be one of my favorite brunch spots! I had a friend in the same industry as me, bring me here one day to meet up for a brunch date after not seeing them for a while. The places decor is okay, I prefer sitting outside in the fresh air cause it can get really crowded. But their food is 12/10 would recommend. They have so many vegan options to choose from that are absolutely delicious, their version of egg slut (slutty bun) is immaculate! (I get the vegan version with the apple sage vegan sausage, wow!) I'm usually not even a pancake type of person, waffles all the way but I enjoy their pancakes very much! All of their drinks are delicious as well! Even though they are extremely busy, their service is really good and they have such great hospitality. I've never had them get an order incorrect and they are super friendly and communicative. read more

This is my boyfriend's all time favorite brunch spot. Im growing more fond of it the more and more we dine here. The wait times go by quickly. Parking may be a problem if you don't find one on street. The staff are always accommodating and friendly. My favorite here is the chicken and waffles. We went on a Sunday morning, It was quite busy and people were sitting outside, very community type of seating, definitely not the place if you're seeking a quiet sit down breakfast. But if you're okay with a fast-pace-ambiance-delicous-food, this is the place to go. There's no waiting list, you and your party stand in one line and make yourself to the front. It was moving relatively fast, too. Once we sat down, the menu has many great selections. I got the chilaquiles with a fried egg. My husband got the Usual (sorry no photo) but I got to say, SUPER FAST FOOD SERVICE. Food came out probably in 10 minutes top, food was delicious. Love love love Millie's! I'm here all the time. The line moves fast, the food is phenomenal, and service is great. The only they I wish they would change is the tofu egg option. Every time I order tofu, whether in a usual or chilaquiles, it tastes so strongly of eggs, almost as if it's bartered in eggs. I get that cross contamination can't be completely avoided, but it tastes like I'm eating eggs! I hope they work on this. read more

Large menu for vegans and regular for breakfast and lunch, which is awesome! Lots of seating outside and in, metered parking on street or on residential streets. My fiancé enjoyed his famous breakfast burrito with sausage, bacon, and eggs but he did think there needed to be more tater tots. It was loaded with food but it was pretty small in comparison to other burritos I've seen for that price of $17. I ordered the homemade vegan burger on gluten free bread which wasn't the best. The bread was very greasy, no sauce of any kind a whole bunch of iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato and some pickles. It wasn't terrible, just needed some flavor like maybe thousand island or something. Overall I don't think I would come back, it's a bit over crowded and over priced for my liking. read more

First time trying chicken n waffles I know, I know!!! Don't judge me The waffle was DELICIOUS! Soft, fluffy, and very tasty! The chicken was tasty too! Not greasy or fried hard. They were a great combination. The fruit on top was amazingly good & sweet! The Omelet was delicious as well. The place seems unassuming, it's in a store front that opens up to view the street. So this is why I give Millie's 5 stars: The food is really good, but the experience is what you're paying (very reasonably I might add) for. Millie's has managed to pull off the impossible- retaining the authenticity of a greasy spoon diner while upscaling for it's modern day fan base. The menu is updated often with gluten free and vegan options while still keeping the traditional tried and true comfort food that you crave. Do yourself a favor, grab a seat at the counter and watch these guys work. When I need some joy, comfort, and connection you'll find me at the counter at Millie's. I'm so grateful for this spot! read more

When I was reading the reviews here most of the comments there's long wait. But when I came here there's no wait at all. Anyways, Breakfast/ brunch is amazing! Ordered Chilaquiles Benedict, I think this is unique. American breakfast mixed with Mexican dish. I really enjoy this because the tortillas are crunchy, I don't like when the tortillas are soggy. And it has a lot of flavors there's shredded beef, egg yolk, plus mixed tomatoes with onions. Monkey pancake is delish. It has banana, chocolate chips, and walnut. Costumer service is excellent!!
