The Pizza was amazing and made just how we like it, fresh vegetables and the employee went to extent to crush my mushrooms and spread them over the pizza! Nice little gesture! First off the place is nice, service was great, and we liked the different size options. Now onto the more important point the food... the pizza was okay, not great, definitely lacked flavor and the topping/sauce choices were limited. My partner and I frequently shop in the outlet where Mod pizza is. We've been patiently waiting for it to open. Not disappointed! I've never been to a similar style pizza chains like blaze, pieology, and such. So I can't compare, but I can say it's refreshing in comparison to something like Pizza guys. The whole idea of it is to provide individual customized pizza and salads, while keeping it simple. So chipotle....but with pizza. I'd say the business does it successfully. PRO - Clean and friendly...maybe too friendly(see cons). - Pizza is realllly good! - Has outdoor patio area with music. - Easy to figure out ordering. - Great location (Target, Gamestop, Michael's, Ross all right there). CONS - Workers are super welcoming. The first time we went, literally every worker said hi to us. I bit overwhelming for those with social anxiety. So not really a con? - Can become a bit pricey depending on order. OTHER STUFF - You can get anchovies! So if you have ever want to try them, do it here. My partner ordered 1 anchovie on there pizza. Loved it. Lol - The music is funny. I feel like they found my old ipod circa 2007. While there, it went from Gwen steffani to Blur to TV on the radio. Super hipster popish. This was my first time and yes it was worth it! I had pizza and salad it was tasty, they had a multitude of toppings and the pizza was cooked to perfection. I also had a Rose' wine, which I was hesitant of because it was in a can but it was really really good. The staff was amazing, patient and super helpful. It's a Ding Dong. I grew up in the '80s, I think I know what a Ding Dong is. Best personal pizza place going right now. App is easy, usually comes out of the oven at the time promised, despite the fact that one of the last times I went they had just put it in the oven at the promised pickup time. Where I can start, modified pizza is really cool! There is so many ingredient and variety to choose from. I like their idea, but there is a problem. I order an mini pizza it comes with 6 slices. I was in a mood for a pizza after work so I stopped by here. First of all, you get a great customer service in this place. Workers here just seems to pay attention to the order without an attitude...trust me I've been to few MOD pizza locations and so far this is my fave. They are so nice and friendly...this is one of the reasons why I keep coming back. Second, my order always comes out pretty good. I always ask for extra crispy coz I always have a tendency to go crazy with my toppings so if it's not extra crispy, it will get very soggy. They have also the best ice hands down!!! Me and my boyfriend took a trip from Redding to Rancho for the day and decided to stop in for lunch at our favorite pizza place. This place has NOTHING on the Redding location!!! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was incredibly clean. They offered games, stickers to write our names on and put on the wall, and told us all about the MOD app and point system. Great pizza for a small price. Only went here the first time because the line was too long at Litl Caesars but glad I did. Medium size thin crust pizza with all the toppings you want for 8.99 done in about 5 minutes. Staff is quick and friendly. I get mine with 5 meats and mush and gr peppers, mozz cheese with crust well done. Been about 5 times now great every time and even my mom loves this pizza. read more

The crust has a nice crunch and has a good taste. In addition, the produce is fresh and the price is cheaper than other fire oven pizza places. They offer salads, pizza, milkshakes and beer on tap. They have the typical 11 inch pizza but also have a mini option for kids or for those who want a smaller size. I loved the variety of specialty drinks rather than just soda options. They have a berry lemonade, regular lemonade, tea, and a glazed pear tea. The customer service was wonderful and the location was very clean. We will be back to eat some yummy pizza and earn our reward points and will definitely recommend this location to others. read more

I love MOD pizza. We stumbled upon it shortly after they opened and try our best to stop in every month or so. I love their ice machine. My family loves getting customized pizzas with all kinds of different toppings. I did get a burnt pizza once but they remade it for me pretty quickly. Every other experience has been great. Just finished my first mod pizza and I will never eat another pizza again. The dough was light and perfect, red sauce and all topping baked just right. I absolutely love this place. I first found MOD last year while I was working in Woodland. My family and I love the build your own pizza places so I kept telling my wife she should really try MOD because it is by far the best I've had. When we realized there was one open in Rocklin minutes away from my home I had to take her and the kids. It's now unanimous in our house that this is our favorite pizza spot and definitely one of our top places to eat period. The staff is always friendly and generous with toppings and the pizza is the best. I think it's the crust that sets them apart. Delicious pizza, great service, good prices. I had heard about this place saying it was like Pielogy so I decided to try it out since it's best my workplace. I ordered ahead because I knew it would be busy. Walked in, looked nice. Went to the online pickup spot. No one was ahead of me. Told the lady I was here for pickup and she asked my name and told me she would have it right up. She proceeded to call people who were dining in and never checked for my pizza. Asked her again couple minutes later, no replied-acted like she didn't hear me. She walked to the back. Came back out couple minutes later, starting avoiding the area. At this point it's been 10 minutes past my pickup time. Finally the lady manning the oven came over and asked what I was still waiting for. I told her I'd been waiting for pizza and still haven't gotten it. Of course my pizza was done and sitting there. Clearly it was made before I arrived and then waited an extra 10 minutes. It was definitely cold. I'm sure it would have been great had it still been hot. Very upset about my experience. Due to customer service, will not be going back. read more
