Dined here for my second birthday lunch with girlfriends on Saturday and again it was delicious! The tuna tataki salad has become a favorite and this time we added the lavender Prosecco drink which is refreshing and perfectly mixed. Messaged the bar staff for the recipe. Chocolate cheesecake was dense and decadent-definitely can be shared. The young staff are attentive and work really well as a team making sure that patrons are happy and catered to. Our server seemed almost frustrated as if we should already know what the food was when we had questions about the entrees/recommendations, it made us feel rushed.When we asked for ketchup he brought out a small ketchup (no problem we asked for more then and there since there were 4 plates) he responded with "this IS for the table" so we did ask for another he came back around and just tossed a bowl of ketchup and walked off , didn't ask if we needed anything else . This is my second time getting food from here and my favorite was the hash brown. When I first got it, it was crispy on the outside and a bit soft on the inside. Although expensive, I found it tasty enough to get it again. I order it this time around and it's burnt on the edges and undercooked in the middle. It was obviously made on too high of a heat setting. It was a pickup order, so I didn't notice until I'd already left, and I'd gotten it to share with a friend because I'd loved it so much the first time. It's disappointing. We had a fairly large party that went for brunch. The food was good. Had a very nice presentation. The price was fair. Unfortunately the service was poor. After delivering the food, we didn't see the server again, and we had to keep finding her to get things that we needed that were missing from the plates or utensils, that kind of thing. They need to focus a bit more on service. I would look forward to going back and with service improvements, they will be stellar. read more

This brunch spot was NOT a mood and if I'm being honest, it was actually quite eventful and chaotic. My friend spontaneously picked this place and it was super cute so our party of four headed over and got seated immediately at their outdoor patio - so far, so good. Oh, we also had to pay $10 for valet because parking here is no bueno lol. And ironically, their valet is literally just metered street parking across the street so there goes $10 before we sat down, lol. We ordered a variety of entrees, drinks, and a syrnyky to share. Not only did they take down our Syrnyky order wrong (we requested Mango, but received the Classic - not a HUGE deal), but my friend also never received her Orange Juice so we had to follow up on that and other items multiple times. The fries are pretty bomb I have to admit, but everything else was not that impressive. The principle that probably bothered me the most was a topic that another reviewer mentioned - that the server does not tell you that their sauces cost money. I would have liked to have been told that the sauces cost money because I've dined at plenty of places where sauce is complimentary. Not only that, but the sauces cost $2 EACH. Granted, I will say that their Kimchi sauce is pretty friggin' bomb and I do think that sauce is worth the money, but a heads up from the server would have been much appreciated versus a surprising $6 charge for 3 sauces on the bill. I could have bought a drink with that money! Additionally, it made me even more uncomfortable that the server was being scolded by another staff member after our awkward sauce confrontation and I never enjoy hearing staff members addressing issues in front of customers - it's just bad energy. I didn't feel the best energy coming from the staff after that and I'm pretty sure they didn't like me after I addressed the sauce issue, lol. Overall, I will not be coming back because the workers seem a bit too stressed and negative energy and the food tastes just satisfactory. Wish I could have had a better experience. read more

I came here for the first time and really liked it, but today we came for breakfast, ordered a sandwich, and found a long hair in it. I don't know if it belonged to the waitress -- she had long hair tied in a ponytail, which was blowing in the wind -- or if it came from the kitchen, because the hair was inside the sandwich. We called the server and informed her about it -- not expecting much, but her response was outrageous. She simply said, "Okay, I understand." When we mentioned that it could've been other waitress hair since she was walking around with long hair, she replied, "Well, I was the one who brought your food, and my hair is tied, but I'll tell the other girl to tie hers." I went to the restroom and came back -- the same girl was still walking around with her long hair. Management, please take action. Finding a hair in your sandwich at a mid-range café is disgusting. read more

However, our experience with service left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed and struggled to manage larger parties. For example, when my husband asked for an Arnold Palmer, the server responded with, "Let me see if our bar is in the mood to make it today". That was disappointing and unprofessional. While the food itself was decent, it took an unusually long time to receive our check when we were ready to leave. My husband had to approach a staff member, but instead of handling our payment, she mistakenly brought us to-go cups. Went to Mood for lunch with coworkers and enjoyed the food and ambiance. I didn't know what to expect going in, but they had vegetarian options so I wasn't upset about it. We sat outside and it was nicely decorated and secluded from the view of the street. I ordered the Mood Latte, Greek Style Salad, and Potato confit. My favorite was the salad, it had great flavors. The Mood latte was good as well, but the potatoes were not seasoned at all. The service was great! Food came out quick and we weren't waiting for the check for too long.
