Fairly typical of most Vietnamese Pho places. My daughter liked her chicken pho. The service was fairly decent. 2 things I did not like: 1. The price: Slightly above other Pho places. I guess you are paying a small premium for eating pho in Orange, CA. 2. The fried egg rolls did not smell right. I think they were spoiled. I won't elaborate further about my visits to the bathroom. I usually eat here with my family and the workers give my parents AWESOME service, but when it's just me and my boyfriend coming in... It's a different story. We both ordered the chicken and egg roll rice plate with fried egg on the side. Unfortunately, my egg had a little surprise in it: the leftover shells. While I waited about fifteen minutes for the server to notice me trying to get her attention, I ate around the shells and waited and waited. Then, when she came to my table and I told her about it... She had no response. No sorry. No "we'll reimburse you" or "would you like another egg without shells in it". NOTHING. On top of that, she just realized near the end of our meal that she forgot our side order of the shrimp cake. My family will surely come back, but after today's experience, I won't. read more

This place is a small little hole-in-the-wall, inexpensive and tasty! I always get the same thing. A giant (large, under $9) vegetarian Phõ bowl, often without noodles (funny, I know). I usually order extra bok choi. Sometimes I get the steamed spring rolls also. When I do get noodles, I tell them easy on the noodles. They serve it with a LOT of noodles otherwise. Less noodles = more veggies. YUM! The soup is fun to assemble and the portions are extremely generous. I often have extra to take home. The vegetables are always bright green and super fresh. Seems as if they build good relationships with their customers. However, the food is par at best. I ordered a number 13 pho, which had delicious broth, but the assortment of meat were small in quantity, lacking flavor, and tenderness. Got the PHO rare steak (steak on the side) and it was phenominal: the broth was rich and full of flavor, the basil fresh and budding, and the steak sliced a perfect consistency. meal comes with a mung bean - taro dessert that really helps round out the meal, and all for under $10. This place was great! It just opened up down the street from my bf's house and I had been craving shrimp phô for a long time so I decided to check this place out. I placed an order to go for a small shrimp phô and it was only $8!! It was fresh and only took 10 minutes. It came with the works(bean sprouts, cilantro, limes etc) which was great! Overall a great place to order to go for sure! I haven't dined inside but will be sure to come in again and try all there other yummy menu items. Really hard to find a decent pho place but this place really does pho and egg rolls well. The pho doesn't taste salty and doesn't leave a bad aftertaste like other places. There's a pho place in irvine that I feel tastes "cleaner" and a bit more traditional but the egg rolls here taste far superior. They don't provide the traditional veggies along with the egg rolls but if you ask they'll provide. I like the non-pretentious vibe of the place and they have tables and chairs that are stylish enough that you don't feel like you're eating at some run down dive bar. I like ma and pa places but ma and pa doesn't have to mean Costco tables and plastic utensils. Having a bit of charm doesn't hurt. It isn't the best you're gonna eat but it does things well enough for a quick Pho fix. read more

Tried this place for the first time because I was craving pho. They did not disappoint. Food was great and they were fast. Their egg rolls are bomb! My daughter who is a picky eater doesn't really like soups or noodles but she definitely enjoyed the pho. Whatever sauce came with the vermicelli chicken made the food so flavorful and delicious. This place is a huge disappointment. My chicken fried rice consisted of gooey clumps of rice with a stingy portion of chicken bits that were tough, fatty and tasteless. I had to spit out pieces of un-chewable chicken fat at least six times while eating my dish. The rice tasted like cardboard. For the same money, I could've had a much more enjoyable and well prepared meal at a Vietnamese place I go to closer to home. Venturing out to try something new wasn't such a good idea this time. My favorite pho place in Orange County. I've been to quite a few pho places in Santa Ana, Garden Grove and Tustin. This is by far my favorite. The broth is clean and lot of flavor. I love this place, I come here about once a week. Their shop is well kept and clean with very polite staff. The prices are very reasonable and their portions are rather large. The food is always fresh. They have a variety of food to offer but my favorite to order are the chicken pho and charbroiled chicken sandwich. The broth for the pho has a lot of flavor and not bland or watered down, the sandwich is perfectly season and not too salty. Also when dining in, they offer mini dessert made of tapioca or something if the sort. They also make a very good Thai tea here, most places tend to make it very sweet. My favorite drink to get is their mango smoothie with boba which was a long while was never on the menu, it was more of a secret menu you thing.
