Great customer service, clean restaurant with a cool vibe. Delicious food full of flavor without being greasy or soggy. The fried rice has chicken, shrimp and the most tender beef. I love that they keep the veggies with a little bite to them. The pad Thai has the perfect amount of sauce and peanuts. The wontons soup was soooo good. The crisp fresh bok choy and green onions with that flavorful broth and the wontons is definitely a must try. Whenever I'm on this side of town I have to make a stop. I usually take it to go but it was a treat to slow down and dine in.

    Tom Yum Chicken Soup

Came for something healthy. Ehhhh. Got here at about 6pm on a Thursday with co-workers. We were working late. Seated immediately. Nice decor. Feels modern in sense. I went for the Tom Yum Chicken and Hot Stuff Chicken. Kept it keto. I havent had Tom Yum in a min. But this was ... very lack luster. I got the large and the amount of chicken is is less than the mushrooms. Well I got the medium spice level. And when I got the soup it was not hot temperature wise. It was in between wamr and above room temp. Also spice level was not present. $18 for the large. Hot Stuff - Chicken was aight. Portion was on the small side. Not spicy at all. Bell peppersm garlic and basil. flavors we're aight. $18 Either the waiter or kitchen forgot the pad thai. Coworker got this and said it was forgetable and salty. Probs wont be back.

    Beef fried rice

This place is overrated and overpriced, $18.00 for a small bowl of beef fried rice and the person who's charging is really rude

We used to love this place and I gave them great reviews, but now they are just awful. I ordered pick up and when we go home are main dish, duck, was not there. We called and they said they would make it and have it delivered right away. Over an hour later, the duck is still not here and the manager, May might be her name as decided she did us a big favor. I could have driven there and back twice but now. Further, the dumplings were not hot and the rice is dry. They have agreed to give us $30 credit for my next visit. They should have just taken it off the bill. They claim they can't and I know for a fact that this is not a hard thing to do. I would love to tell you about the duck, but it is still not here and we are still waiting. The rest of our not great food is ruined. We will have to go back to order and get the credit and this place is very expensive. I could not be more unhappy. And they should know better.

    Pork Shank

I dined on the braised pork shank which was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and moist to the point it fell off the bone. The broth it was served with was lightly sweet with a mild peppery note. Accompanying the pork shank was Chinese broccoli and a braised onion. This dish is heart and very satisfying. The service as Natalee Thai is always fiver star service. The wait staff is very hospitable, they make sure your every need is met. The dining area is spacious lending to an enjoyable dining experience. There is a large parking lot which is shared with a Smart and Final store. Give Natalee Thai a try, you'll be glad you did.

This place is and has always been great. I love bringing my family here, or ordering DoorDash. The pad Thai is my favorite. Saw a legend last time there James Hong, 97 year old actor. RESPECT

Came here on a Thursday evening and were seated immediately, it was moderately full around 6PM. Its an interesting building and decor that allows for a lot of natural light given where we were seated. I ordered the pad see ew, which came out pretty quick and was a good size. I ended up eating more than I thought I could, since the noodles were really good and a great chewy consistency! The prices were pretty average as well. I would def come back here again or order take-out since it seems like a reliable thai place. The menu was also pretty large so there is probs something for everyone!

I ordered delivery and everything was packaged very well with tamper safe stickers on the bag and extra bag around the curry in case of spillage. The food was delicious and I'm so glad we have this new go to place for great Thai food!

Amazing food and excellent service! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Natalee Thai in California and will definitely be coming back!

I drive by this place all the time but have never gone in except for this time--when my cousin had her birthday dinner here. Our server was Micah and he was very attentive and accommodating. I ordered the crispy tofu appetizer (9/10) and it had a crispy outside and soft interior. It was a bit too moist inside for me--I think they didn't drain enough liquid out of the tofu before frying. But it was still very good. I also had the fish with the curry sauce and that was so good 10/10! The fish was fried crispy and served hot in a bed of red curry. I had it with white rice and it easily became one of my favorite dishes! I'll be back!

I stopped by here to grab pad thai since it was nearby and it was lunchtime; the flavor was okay but the portion was a lot smaller than I expected compared to other Thai restaurants that I've been to for what they charge - also customer service was a little bit awkward because there was a good amount of staff that was there, but no greeting or any word from them (from the moment I walked in + they all kind of just stood around). When I walked up to the front cashier counter to request an order takeout - they all were still standing around so the whole process just took longer than I had expected - I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

The regular menu is quite expensive with the cheapest at $17 for appetizer and salad options and most expensive at a whooping $80. The lunch menu was more affordable but still on the pricey side $21-$32 with add on options. The waitress was taking our orders and what surprised me was with my co-worker ordered the pad see ew and the waitress asked her how spicy she wants it. I was aw shocked. I'm not a Thai food expert but I do know pad see ew is a noodles dish that's offers a sweet soy sauce flavor. Never served spicy. I didn't get to try the dish but when I asked my co worker how it taste she said it was spicy and not sweet at all. I'm not sure that was an authentic pad see ew. I ordered from the lunch menu and got the tumeric chicken, with steamed vegetables and paid extra $7 to substitute for a papaya salad. I asked for #2 spice level but it was not spicy at all. Other co workers said they asked for medium but it was way too spicy. So it looks like their spicy levels are inconsistent. I'm not sure how this restaurant can justify the prices with the quality they are serving. Probably won't be back. Service was mediocre. Didn't offer to refill our waters. I felt like I came to eat and my mom's house. They take Debit Card and Apple Pay WITH a pin only. I forgot my wallet and paid with Apple Pay. It did not have a place for tip which made me feel awful. At the end I apologized and she was like "it's ok, next time." And she was genuinely fine with it. She reassured me not to worry about it. So I'm determined to come back to tip her because if anybody deserved a tip it was her. I ordered Pad Thai with tofu- I like to order peanut sauce on the side and the woman found it interesting and struck a non judgmental conversion about it. I could really tell she was genuinely curious. This was my favorite dish. It was good. I also ordered spicy fried rice with tofu and spicy panang curry with vegetables. I chose 4 out of a 6 for spicy and it was not spicy at all for me. The rice was fine, nothing extraordinary and nothing bad. The panang curry was yummy. I don't know if it's regional but it was very light in taste and light in thickness. BUT I enjoyed it for what it was. Felt like I had gotten home made chicken soup or something like that comforting and not overly processed. Maybe it's because I ordered it with no protein and just vegetables. I ordered a lot of food so I explained to her that I was going to eat some and take the rest to go. When she brought the food she brought it nicely packed without a bag. She also brought me a real plate and utensils to eat here. She let me know that when I was ready she'd bring a bag which I thought was thoughtful. She also made sure to say "take your time, no need to rush. We close at 8" and it was 5pm. Again, it felt genuinely nurturing, she wanted to make sure I felt taken care of and welcomed. It meant a lot because I was frazzled from forgetting my wallet and from having a hard day at work. This was my first time here and it won't be my last. There is a small lot on site. I especially loved the beautiful ceramic water cups with bird designs--they were so unique and charming. Even the water tasted wonderful! I'm thrilled that Au Lac is still thriving after all these years. If anything, the food tasted even better than I remembered. I certainly won't wait another 12 years before coming back. In fact, I was so impressed that I convinced my husband to come with me next Saturday for dinner! I've tried many vegan restaurants over the years, and Au Lac remains my absolute favorite. It took a few minutes to order after being seated. All of the food came out pretty fast. The best dish was the Morning Glory with Crispy Pork. The Papaya Salad wasn't tart enough. It seemed like it wasn't marinated long enough. The Bbq Pork noodle dry smelled really bad to the point that we couldn't eat it. In fact, we had to order Fried Rice instead since we couldn't eat the noodles. The Pad See Ew was just okay. I'm disappointed as I really wanted my family to be blown away by the food and it didn't happen. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day. There's a small crowded valet parking lot right out front. We found street parking a few blocks away. Be mindful that it's in the east side of Hollywood, so it can be sketchy and dirty in the surrounding neighborhood.
