Been coming into Natalee Thai since moving into the area. I was hoping to be one of my go-to places in the area. Food is good and most of the staff is nice and attentive for the exception of Patcha. At first, I thought it was a communication issue and we brushed it off. But her bad attitude seems to shine through over and over again. Dealing with our kids seems to offend her. Ate here after 2 friends recommended this place as the best Thai food in LA and was underwhelmed. I got the heavenly combo and although it was a nicely sized portion of food, it could've been tastier. Very average food and was not too seasoned. I got the regular pad thai that came with egg, shrimp, and chicken - definitely not how I usually think pad thai would be with three types of protein, but it was delicious! The noodles were tender but chewy at the same time. I sat outside, which was nice! Seating inside seemed plenty too. OMG. The chicken monsoon noodle (aka pad kee Mao) was the absolute bomb!! Very very aromic and tasty, and didn't feel too heavy. Loved the basil taste as well. The shrimp Tom yum noodle was not too shabby, pretty tasty, just a tad bit salty but nonetheless very good too! Their menu items are pretty diverse and they even had a vegetarian section. The place was pretty relaxing and pretty, and our waitress was really nice. I look forward to coming back! :) read more

We spoke to a host in regards to coming in for dinner. We arrived an hour and 30 minutes before closing. The manager who helped us informed us of the host giving wrongful information. If you are craving Thai food, there are so many other good spots you can go to... give this place a pass and save your money.. they clearly don't care for the business, so go enjoy a better restaurant than this place.... read more

I wish there was a way to put zero stars, do not come to this place! I went to Natalee Thai with my friends and had one of the worst experiences possible, my server, Jamie, was absolutely horrible rude and short with me and my friends. I'd eaten there in the past and enjoyed it, I'm not sure what's going on but things have changed for the worst. I tried to speak to the manager at the front desk but she was nowhere to be found, probably hiding in the kitchen. Every time I tried to get my server's attention she was chatting with other employees and paying no attention to customers. In addition, the food came out cold. Outstanding flavors and food quality. Everything is very fresh. I love the teriyaki chicken.

Was disappointed in the pork belly. They fried it until it had no flavor but pure salt! The broccoli was also quite soggy.

I love the pad see ee with fried tofu. Tasty. I've also tried the cashew chicken which was great. Their spicy foods are really spicy if you can take it. But it's a good spicy. We order from them at least once a month for work. read more

Ryan had a hankering for Thai food, and as we were inquiring around the area, someone told us about this eatery. Due to hunger, we went straight to the place and ordered right away. The menu was okay; I wouldn't say there was a large selection because the food was limited. Broccoli, Thai chicken, steak, pad thai, and lad na were among the dishes we ordered. For me, each of the dishes we bought here was merely ordinary, and the flavoring was not particularly well-matched or out of my comfort zone. The prices were fair. I live down the street. I was ordering once a week from here solo and with friends : food quality during the pandemic was beyond spectacular. I ordered 2 times over the last couple months and didn't like it which is why it took so long in between. When you spend a good amount of money on food wh friends you want quality to add to that experience. Both times bland / under average . The item I was talking about was what you call "Natalee Fresh Rolls". I don't eat sushi. We have purchased this item many times and sometimes only eat half of it and have the second half the next day. It doesn't store well and the outer layer gets hard and doesn't taste good. I'd skip this place FOR SURE. When we were enjoying our family meals together a waiter walks up to our table, he single-handedly asked for my Vaccination card and a government-issued photo identification. We are all vaccinated, but found it very impolite to show my vaccination card and a government photo-issued Identification half way through my meal while I was still chewing on my food. I got up and I've let my whole family know to finish their food, pay the bill, while I would be waiting for them outside of the restaurant. Restaurants are facing hardship as result of of COVID-19, we should strengthen our local communities and businesses by showing our support, but I will prevent supporting any business that treats their customers poorly. Haven't ordered from the Venice location in some time. Ordered for pick-up on a Thursday night about 6:15 pm. Still a 45 minute wait - okay food'll be fresh - nope! Boy have they gone downhill. The Thai Beef Salad says it comes with cherry tomatoes, it did...2! 1 small cherry tomato and one medium cherry tomato. Plenty of beef, barely any lettuce and overly spicy. The Pad-See-Ew noodles were very overcooked as were the included greens: again, barely any greens. The ginger mushrooms had very limited mushrooms and chicken. So disappointed- gotta find a new spot. The ultimate in comfort food. My favorite dish is the Pad See Ew Noodles with shrimp, perfect for Friday's and the Lenten season. It's a great combination of noodles, egg and broccoli. It always his the spot. The Pad Thai noodles are also a hit. It's the perfect blend of ingredients, not overly heavy on any ingredient. I do not understand the cult following behind this place. I work near Natalee Thai, and people love it. BUT I DO NOT GET IT!! Each time I get food from there it is overly greasy. I ordered the California Curry (usually called Yellow Curry) and it was 50% oil. I have never had a curry like this. The chicken was cut into golf ball sized pieces, and it was over cooked and dry. There were a few potatoes and literally 1 carrot. I love yellow curry and I feel it is a had dish to mess up. It's basically a safe dish, but not here. Long story short, if you like greasy americanized Thai food, this is the place for you. Your better off going down the street to BKK101 Thai Cuisine or The Taste Kitchen. read more

The server named, Jay was beyond rude. I placed an order online and when I went in to pick up, he didnt know how to communicate with his customer from the get go. He used his finger to point me to stand in front of the cashier while he dosnt bother asking me for my first name but rather 'name,' and I even tried to give him the order number but he said it doesn't work that way. He acted as if he wanted me to just leave. I couldn't believe it. when he badly figured out where my food was, he handed over it to me and didn't say a word. One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Los Angeles! My work is 1 minute away from the restaurant and I usually go to Natalee Thai at least twice a week. It is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Now, during the pandemic, they take all the precautions and I feel safe to take out food and to dine in the restaurant. I've been to this location multiple times. The first time I came I tried the Shrimp Pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea, it was close to authentic for a chain restaurant. I ordered the Korean BBQ tonight and was very disappointed. The meat was covered in sauce to mask all the fat! Needless to say it was like chewing on a tennis ball.
