Finally got food from here after having it on my list of "places to go eat at" for a very long time! I ordered delivery through Uber eats since I didn't feel like driving and I had a free delivery code. Got the garlic noodles with bulgogi and a side of the Cajun fries. Very filling and satisfying portion for the noodles, I barely got to my fries which of course I saved for later. I especially liked the noodles because they didn't leave a film of grease on my lips as I slurped them up like a lot of Asian noodle dishes tend to do. The slight downside was the heavy garlic after taste. I was still burping the smell of garlic hours later. A small but pretty decent place. But beware because the parking is tiny, and so is the restaurant. Most people come here for takeout, or if you have a small party you can definitely eat in as well. Nguyen's Kitchen is a place that serves casual Vietnamese street food, from pho to banh mi (stuffed baguettes), for a pretty decent price. Although I must say the food is not purely Vietnamese but a fusion between Mexican and Korean, everything is still delicious. We ordered the chicken nuggets, chicken wings, spring rolls and bulgogi rice bowl. All of them were good, but both chicken dishes were a bit too spicy for my liking, the bulgogi is just mediocre but the Thai tea and spring rolls were delicious! This is my 4th time here and I really waited to give a review because I want to like this place. The pictures on IG look so enticing and nothing I have received resembles the pic even with my own filter. The garlic noodles are so greasy and have a mild garlic flavor. I pay extra for bulgogi and it is charred and also mold in flavor to say the least. The egg rolls are ok. For the price it needs to bE more consistently and not so greasy tasting. First and last time eating here! As far as food goes my family and I just barely enjoyed our food enough to finish it because we spent money and are not wasteful. My brothers on the other hand didn't even finish their sliders because the steak meat was quite weird. Definitely wasn't amazing. I love Asian inspired food and I didn't find this impressive. Over priced for the quality. My biggest problem was customer service, one person began our order, another employee came to take over, and before we even said the second food order the final employee come and finished off the order. The last girl who took the majority of the order wasn't very pleasant to talk to, and she could answer a simple question of "what is black sauce?" Found this place through Yelp, was hesitant, but really loved the food! My bf and I got the NK sliders, cajun fries, popcorn chicken, and pork banh mi. The other couple we ate with got the bulgogi fries and crawfish pasta. ALSO the green milk tea, Thai tea, and peach lychee green tea were ALL really bomb. First time here today with a couple friends. I didn't know what to expect with a soft opening. One of the owners and employees served us and they were extremely courteous and helpful with the suggestions on what to order. Although a small menu, it's better that they served us delicious dishes 100% of the time than having a huge menu with less success. We ordered the sliders, a beef grilled sandwich, and crawfish pasta. Daaaayyyyuummmm, the sliders were juicy and spicy! They spread a greenish sauce to the top bun along with grilled onions and mushrooms, so make sure to ask them to hold it if you're not a veggie person. The mini kaiser roll is toasted and I'm glad they didn't use a cold bun or gasp, a King's Hawaiian roll. As for the grilled sandwich, the bread was a perfect, french baguette, not overly crispy and poking the roof of my mouth. It sat for 15-20 minutes and didn't go rock hard like a Lee's banh mi. This also had a special sauce on it. Ask them to try the special sauce to see if it's to your liking at all. Lastly, the crawfish pasta was misleading. It looks like there isn't enough sauce for the noodles but once you mix it up, the garlic fragance picks up and tingles the ol factory senses. There was enough sausage but I kinda wish there was more crawfish. It was an acceptable amount but I know how much Americans like their dishes. Over the top! Hah In addition, ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee and winter melon green tea. The ice coffee was more sweet than bitter than other coffee shops. I prefer the more dark bitter roast, so this didn't quite knock my socks off BUT still tasty. My friend had the winter melon. Interesting deep sweet taste that's delicious. 3.5 stars My bf and I got the garlic noodles (with chicken) and the grilled pork sandwich. The garlic noodles were pretty garlic-y but if you don't add any chicken it is pretty bland just by itself. I think maybe it was missing some kind of vegetable or something! The chicken was alright, it tasted like it shared the same popcorn chicken seasoning without the fried-ness of it. But tender though. I thought the bahn mi sandwich was actually really good. The meat was really flavorful and tender and they give you some green sauce that adds a good spice to it. Craved some viet food and this was the closest to our hotel near Disney. We ordered the grilled pork banh mi, and omg to start off the bread was super soft and amazing. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We paired this with their popcorn chicken which was also delicious. They offer you a spice rating for the chicken, and we got medium. This might be my new favorite spot for garlic noodles. However, the pork was a little too salty for my taste. Might try chicken or bulgolgi beef filling next time! Read the reviews and went with what the Yelpers recommended - Garlic noodles with dark meat chicken and a vietnamese iced coffee. Portion was plenty and the vietnamese iced coffee gave me that 2nd wind I needed. If you're in the area, I do recommend trying this place just for the garlic noodles...it's pretty damn tasty. They make all their orders fresh and right in front of you. It may take a bit longer, but it makes the experience and taste that much better. read more

Wow, this place is REALLY delicious and inexpensive. I had the "grilled pork banh mi" and the "garlic noodles with steak." All I can say is WOW. The pork was juicy and was absolutely flavorful. The French bun was toasted gently with just the right amount of garnish. The garlic noodles were really garlic-y! TONS of flavor. We got take out from this place to try on a Tuesday for lunch. A major negative is the popcorn chicken. As you see in the picture, you get only a few pieces plus it was chewy due to the unvented box it comes In. At $7-8 an order (per management its 4.45, I didn't pay so I can't clarify but it's only about 9 pieces) I would expect they would know if you don't poke holes in the box then the fried food item would be soggy and/or chewy. The Cajun crawfish pasta was just ok. At first it was very salty but you get used to it if you continue eating it. My only complaint is, again they skimped on the crawfish but loaded it with sausage. If you look at my pics, you can literally count all the pieces of popcorn chicken in that order and crawfish in the pasta. The bulgolgi banh mi did not disappoint. It was packed with just enough of all the ingredients. The green sauce they provide on the side is very good yet very spicy. read more
