Well, we gave it a try. We sat at the bar on a Friday late night. It was empty. The plates and left overs from a couple of other customers were still on there, not cleaned up. Not only was it empty from customers, there was no one behind it. 10 minutes later they came back; bartender explained he was running after a bar customer that had left without paying......again. Anyhow, we ordered drinks - they felt like juice...skimped out on the alcohol part big time. We told them and the second one came in "better" Had the onion and the Kukaburra wings to start - wings are the BEST thing on their menu! This is the only reason I gave the 2 stars. Ordered the strip steak for the hubby and the Victoria cut for me. Even though they were cooked correctly, they were lacking flavor big time. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were done a long time prior and just re-heated. It's just one of those places that don't need to be good anymore as customer will go regardless. This is a fairly good steak house. But as with any business, it's only as great as its employees are. And I am pleased to report I've had a very very good one who's name is Alex. He was equally pleasant as he was attentive. And as such made our visit that much more pleasurable. On to the food: I had prime rib (med rare), and I have to say Longhorn's own is better. That being said my husband had a porterhouse that was "whoa!" So it evened off in-spite of my jealous yet wonton looks across the table, which went largely ignored. But say what... our waiter was brilliant so I'd rather have a good meal served by one who is sweet than a great meal brought by a sour (which I have had the misfortune to experience on more than one occasion) I'd be happy to return. After a long hard day of work and cleaning me and my girl decided to come here because we always love going when we have the money to spare The burgers and steaks are always 100% delicious and I've never had an ounce of a complaint. Nadine always enjoys a healthy parmesan chicken with veggies or other healthy delights! Their deserts are amazing. I've never tried the chocolate thunder from down under but I heard it's very popular. For desert I always get a mini milkshake. It's small and filling without making me feel like I'm going to explode. The service is always great and we have never had to wait for longer than 5 minutes the moment we walk in through the door! The waiters are very nice and attentive and some even crack a few jokes. It feels very nice and makes the overall experience nice. This is my favorite outback by far! Saturday for lunch is our favorite time to visit Outback. For the price, it was more than reasonable for the amount of food we received. This time we split the small cheese fries as an appetizer. (The ranch dressing is addictive!) Then we had the unlimited soup and salad lunch special - the French onion soup and Ceasar salad. As always, it was yummy! And, I can't forget to mention the bread and whipped butter. It was fresh and warm. I have ordered the Outback delivery on more than one occasion. Must say, the delivery service is so worth the price! The food arrives just as I order it, on time, and hot. There is nothing for me to do but relax and eat it, lol. I prefer the delivery over the curbside takeaway - which I will no longer do. When I use to do the takeaway, I would need to wait...the order wasn't ready on time - and the order wasn't always correct. Ok food (steak was almost cooked to my liking, but a little overdone), the bloomin' onion was a bit soggy, and the veggie sides were uber tasteless (the veggies are steamed but with no added condiment-- a little butter, lemon juice, anything should be offered to flavor these plain tasting, bland soggy veggies. Why is it that restaurants serve these steamed veggies plain? can anyone really eat that without making a face?). The olive martini was disgusting (tasted like the liquid in a jar of green olives with no vodka or gin; I think they forgot the alcohol part of the martini). I think I much rather go to the Outback Steakhouse off 117th and Kendall Drive. All in all, not the best dinner I've had at an Outback, and I generally like thier menu and the prices are reasonable. Came by for a quick bite and left delightfully satisfied! When we went in there wasn't much of a wait so we were quickly seated. Our server Nicole was super nice and funny. She made us feel comfortable and recommended the delicious Kiwi Rita--with sugar on the rim! (Tiffany the bartender did a wonderful job at the drinks!) I got a gift card for Christmas and on the way to Jo-Ann's Fabrics, I figured why not order some food to go. I ordered the salmon with vegetables, baked potato, cheese fries, and ice cream sundae all for less than $30. I even got 2 loaves of bread-yummy! While I was waiting for my food I popped into Jo-Ann's got some fabric and went back to Outback's. It took a while to get my food, only because the cooks accidentally added bacon to my cheese fries, so they were making me another. I thought that was really nice that they were going the extra mile to ensure my order was right, I told the attendant that it was not that big of a deal, by that time my food was ready. The salmon was good. I think it was a little too blackened on the outside, I loved my veggies-just the right amount of butter, potato and sundae were perfect. Outback has the best ice cream sundaes and bread. Another thing I like about outback is that the amount of food you receive when ordering a kid's meal. Occasionally I have ordered the kids meal chicken breast only because the regular size comes with 2 chicken breasts; and I can only eat one. This is a great way to save a few dollars, eat only what you can comfortably eat without having to throw food away, and you also keep your weight in check- always a plus :) It was really busy today at the restaurant and I was glad that I had ordered to go, but the best part was that the attendant was very pleasant. Very disappointed. Every year my family and I come to Florida we go to the Outback Steakhouse. However, since covid we haven't been here since 2019. Boy was I not impressed. Besides the bun from the burger I ordered being soaking wet from butter that was dripping off the baked potato, when I asked the server for ketchup he went to get some when he returned he replied we don't have any. Also the Kingsland pasta my son ordered was so oily it was like it was drenched in butter. For what we paid for this meal I could have gone somewhere else and really enjoyed myself. I came here with friends on a Wednesday night hoping for a good meal, and I was thoroughly disappointed. I had tried their Alice chicken with fries, which is something that I usually get and was completely disappointed. It all tasted generic and lifeless. I had to add a ton ketchup to the meal to be able to enjoy it. I know my friends loved their meal so maybe I just got the short end of the stick, or maybe I should have tried something else. But the only reason why I am bumping it up to three stars is because of the drinks & service. For the drink I had their Blackberry Sangria and I also tasted my friends drink which was rimmed with black salt. I completely fell in love with both of them. The guy that was waiting on us also did a pretty good job in taking care of us, he wasn't to clingy or didn't ignore us... Which I am surprised since Miami is notorious for subpar service... Went with the family to outback for dinner on a wed. night and although it took about 10 minutes to finally take our order everything else went smooth...We started off with the bloomin' onion with it's signature sauce which wasn't to spicy just right. cant go wrong with the bloomin' onion especially if you are in a group simply delicious. I ordered the pork porter house which is a very nice sized pork chop cooked to perfection home-style mashed potatoes and steamed veggies was absolutely awesome with a cold beer. Our waiter was very tentative and the manager came around to make sure everything was as expected which was very refreshing it really makes a difference when they take pride in what they do. I have always been a big fan of Outback Steakhouse. Regardless of the location the service is always great and the food is even better. Consistency is key. At this location it seems to have that dynamic down to a science. The bartender Zack made delicious cocktail after delicious cocktail and made sure my other guest always had a frozen cold Fosters in front of him. So I was a waitress for about four years, let's start with the service. By the time the entrees came around we were still on the first round of our drinks (water) meaning it's not something that hard to refill you can bring a pitcher out if you're that busy. The server looked at us funny when we requested more bread, it's a table of four people one loaf of bread will go in a blink of an eye. Ordering the food went somewhat smoothly but she wasn't understanding she looked confused the whole entire time. While waiting for our drinks my little cousin noticed the plates were dirty (picture below) after that she brings out the sides that came with our food. Two soups and two salads. Those were fine the salad was clearly left under the heating lamp but whatever. I thought okay no biggie. By the time the food comes around they announce to us that the baked potato my grandparents each ordered they're out and they won't be ready for what she said was five minutes. At that moment I was like okay .. as a Waitress , you know if something will run a little bit longer. That's part of the job. I told her to wait because by the looks of my grandmother steak you can tell it was over cooked. Another example of leaving something under the heating lamp for just a little too long. Oh and did I mention we were out of water she asked us if we would like more water and she never came back. At this point I got up and spoke to hostess's which was the only reason I didn't lose it was because she was so nice. She got the manager right away! When the manager gets to the table she listens to what I have to say she doesn't apologize just literally asks what we're drinking and tries to make an excuse for the waitress about the potato. I told her I was a waitress and that I know how it works. The potato comes out wrong. Loaded instead of just sour cream and butter. My grandmother notified the manager THE MANAGER who brought it out herself she said she would be back. She never came back. We are literally just sitting here right now staring at each other because nobody is even helping us. This is ridiculous I can't actually believe this is happening I feel like I'm in a movie or a prank show. While writing this the table next to us got so fed up they just walked into the kitchen to literally ask what's going on. I don't know what's going on but this place is ridiculous. Update now that we left: I called the manager back to the table she was rude and kept making excuses. Her name is Carolyn and the waitress was named Alex. This was the biggest joke. The woman photographed is Carolyn. The fact that nothing was compensated in reality or nothing like a free dessert or anything was offered is so astonishing.
