Our group thoroughly enjoyed the different burgers we ordered from the menu. From what I could tell the ingredients used for the burgers are quality. The buns were soft and pillowy, and the beef is juicy wihtout being too fatty. The milkshakes we shared were rich and creamy, with pronounced chocolate and vanilla flavors. Checked out Patty's for the first time after noticing it a week prior. They're brand new to Broadway but they're about to make waves. In addition to their cool classic diner look they have an absolutely delectable menu with reasonable prices. Great family friendly vibes and service was relatively fast. I went with the Oklahoma Smash (Double) and it did not disappoint. Grilling onions into the patties is sensational, and I added their homemade smash sauce which took it over the top. Patty's is a fun vibe. Came here with the family, parents loved it, kids thought it was ok. The service was helpful and they try to move it along. There is not enough seating so you may end up ordering and having to wait for a table to open up. My husband and I loved their smash burgers. Our kids prefer in n out patties. The tater tots were nice and crispy, we also had garlic fries which were pretty light on garlic flavor, but good overall. There is a ridiculous $2 charge for a tiny side of ranch, I couldn't believe they have the audacity to charge that much when I saw the size of the cup. Tried out this new restaurant for the first time! The atmosphere was very nice, truly feels like it stepped right out of the 50's/60's! The SF Dog had more Jalapeños than I was expecting, to be honest. Made it so spicy that I could barely taste anything BUT the jalapeño, let alone the dog itself. The Burgers and ESPECIALLY the fries were very good tho! Nothing I'd go out of my way to get again, but I'd happily order them if I found myself in the restaurant again in the future. My order also took a bit longer than I expected, especially given that there was hardly any other costumers when I went. They may have been cooking pick-up/delivery orders tho. The food itself was also only okay. The smash burger itself is actually quite good and decent value except that it doesn't come with any sides. The sides that we did order were just pitiful. I ordered $8 Onion rings and literally received 8 (tiny) rings which was disappointing to say the least after waiting over an hour. I was so hungry that point that I forgot to take a photo but it didn't even come in its own basket, it can with a big burger on the side and still it didn't cover the basket. The $12 "Chicago-style" hotdog was also tiny and the bread quality felt like it came from safeway but the flavors were again quite good but definitely not a Chicago-style hotdog which is the whole reason we ordered it (We were from Chicago). I rarely leave poor reviews and I'm open to changing this review if things improve but I just feel like it was such an oddly bad experience. Whoa, this is a must try. The decor is such a blast from another time, movie star and vintage car and trivia posters everywhere, I Love Lucy playing in black and white on a back wall big screen t.v. Because, despite my health issues and ethical guilt about killing animals, I decided to share their Philly cheesesteaks sandwich with my husband, to make up for that guilt, we got their impossible cheese burger--no lettuce, no tomato, because I don't want no damn salad on my burger.
