She was soooo sweet and helpful when setting up the order for us. We wanted to make sure everything was packaged a certain way so it was easy for us to set up at home. She was patient while answering all of our questions even while it was busy that night (we ordered in person). She also called us the night before to confirm everything and ensured our order. Was also the one to hand over the order the same day to make sure everything was right. Everything went smoothly with no hiccups thanks to her. So ...thank you!!! Without a doubt one of the best pho places around. The pho broth is extremely rich and comforting, everything you would want in a soup. The noodle/meat portion is generous, especially given the price. Sometimes I feel like they even give too much meat (not that I'm complaining)! I tried several pho restaurants and this one won my heart for sure. Many places have oily broth but not this place! It was so pure and clean I finished the whole bowl! The meat is so soft and they put such a good amount for the price it's a steal. My favorite thing about this place is that they are so welcoming to everyone and treat everyone equally which is not common with most pho places. I really like how flavorful the broth is AND how clear it is! Some places have really murky broth that makes the pho look unappetizing. We tried the pho tai + bo vien and pho dac biet. Both tasted great with generous portions of beef. The store gets VERY crowded around dinner time especially on weekends. Came here a while back looking for a great pho place in Garden Grove. This place did not disappoint. broth was amazing on both plates. And the eggrolls were crispy. I ordered the filet mignon for, and it turned out to be delicious. I personally like a lot of spices in my pho, just be sure to ask the server for more jalapeño or chili paste and they are more than happy to appease you. I believe we ordered a rib fire as well, and that was just as delicious as the filet mignon. I am personally lazy and don't like to work for the meat, but if I did, the meat on this rib is definitely worth it. Eggrolls are super crunchy and tasty. It's a must if you come here and you have extra room in your belly lol Best part of my visit, besides the food of course, was that they serve alcohol or should I say beer. First time ordered Pho here. I ordered Pho special large to go. When I got home and opened it, Omgosh, so much meat. They do not skim anything at all. They included "Nuoc beo " for free, which I really liked. Others charge you at least .75 for it. I could not finish the bowl, still have extra meat leftover for tonight dinner. The broth tastes pretty good and meat overall is good. I will definitely come back here again. The service was excellent. I wish they open at 6a so I can order for work. Delicious! A super solid bowl of pho! We went with some friends with kids and they gave us a small bowl of broth and noodles for the kids immediately when we sat down! It really kept the kids occupied lol they definitely knew what they were doing! Now on to the food: I got the Vietnamese pickled lime soda which honestly I didn't think was worth the 3.50 because it wasn't very big, it was tasty but like five sips. I got the house special pho which was fantastic! Super flavorful, had a good amount of quality meat, and was a very comforting bowl! We also got an order of the spring rolls which were super crispy and delicious. In one of Ali Wong's specials, she has mentioned that if you do not see a number in the Pho's restaurant name nor if the restroom is not doubled as a storage room, you should run the opposite direction. What she said is nearly 100% accurate! In addition to Ali Wong's words, I said if the restaurant doesn't look chaotic nor if the host doesn't speak to you in Vietnamese when you walked in, you probably are not at the right place for Pho. The parking is quite tough to get here, especially, there are a lot of horrible drivers parked terribly. However, that's not something within the control of the restaurant owners. I had tried many other restaurants in the area, and honestly, this is one of the better ones so far. The turnaround was remarkable to watch. They sat down new customers in less than 60 seconds! The word "crowd control" doesn't exist here. And I genuinely love it! It reminds me of the authenticity of Pho restaurants in Vietnam. I honestly do not expect much for the service either for a Vietnamese restaurant. However, the staff here are so lovely and friendly. They treat you with care! I was so impressed. The pho itself was genuinely delicious! Look how clear the broth is for my bowl! It was gorgeous. I enjoyed every bit of it. I had so much meat in my bowl that after I finished my noodles, I realized I still had so much meat left. My husband expected I had leftovers to finish it, but it was thoroughly cleaned out at the end. This is based only on the seafood crispy egg noodles. I do not recommend this dish at this location. The noodle is hard and stale in texture based on how they fry it. The sauce is a bit sweet (msg maybe) but the toppings (baby corn, broccoli, carrots, onions, bok choy, cilantro, mushroom, squid, shrimp, fish balls) are fine. The fried flat rice noodle (pho ap chao) is better but it's very heavy so I tried this dish this time. Restaurant has plenty of seating on the inside and outside, depending on your preference. We ordered: - Small Pho 45 Dac Biet x 2 - (I always order the dac biet at a pho restaurant -- it's like the carne asada burrito for me at taco shops) Steak was not really rare; all the pieces were pretty thoroughly cooked. Not much tendon or brisket either, but ultimately, solid bowls of pho with a clean, light broth. It reminds me of home cooked pho. Phoholic used to be the next best thing from the home-made supply I got, but as everyone that has tried Phoholic before knows how cumbersome it is to go there. So, my friend recommended this place. She assured me I would love it way better than Phoholic and she was absolutely right! First, the place has ample parking and so easy to place a take-out order. Their prices are reasonable, and the quality of their meat is superior to any of the places I've tried. But the one that I like best at this place is their Pho broth. OMG, it is so delicious! My lily-white hubby even likes it, and he is so picky when it comes to Asian cuisine. We typically get their FILET MIGNON (#2) PHO. They give a generous amount of meat, and it is so tender and of great quality. I recommend getting the large as it is totally worth the dollar price difference, and it makes for great leftover. My only request when I order is for more noodles and veggies, but less meat. They usually cave. Additionally, I order a side of their broth as well coz it makes for awesome leftover to heat up the next day especially for cold rainy days, like the ones we've been having. This is a local Garden Grove establishment. In my opinion, they serve the best pho in the City and maybe in the OC. Their pho is delicious and they give you plenty of meat with each serving. Each bowl comes out piping hot and within minutes of you ordering, much faster than any fast food restaurant and much more healthier. They were featured on Eater or one of those food review for must try Vietnamese restaurants. They keep their facilities clean, their restroom is probably the cleanest restaurant restroom I've been to in the City, but granted you should always clean/wile your utensils yourself before using as good practice in any restaurants. They are a staple of the community, they welcome small local musicians trying to fundraise (for church or other misc reasons) through short live music performance. The owner graciously give out a few dollars to solicitors who may be trying to sell them a service or good (window washer or someone trying to sell them cilantro/veggies in exchange for a few dollars) without taking the goods/service. If this establishment doesn't have a good heart, I don't know what does. I will continue to support them in the years to come. read more

It was my first time at Pho 45 and there was about a 20-minute wait on a Sunday afternoon. My boyfriend and I both ordered a #2 Small (Filet Mignon Beef Rare Steak - $12) with thin noodles. You can choose between thin or thick noodles, which I thought was pretty neat! Their small bowl was definitely more than enough for each of us and was very filling.
