My new favorite Pho place!!!! Recently my favorite pho place closed :( and have been looking for new pho places I was really glad I found this place! Their Chicken Pho is amazing! The noodles taste homemade, the broth is flavorful and not salty or heavy at all like other pho places! I love that the pho comes with chicken too on the side. The chicken was perfectly cooked and wasn't dry at all. I would recommend getting their chicken thigh! I would highly recommend this place! One of the best Phos I have have in LA. Also their shaken beef with fried rice rolls is really good! Their beef is so flavorful and fried rice rolls are crispy. Pho Ga Hai Van 14072 Magnolia St #107, Westminster, CA 92683 February 22, 2026 Pho Bo Tai - $15.50 (Total with tax: $16.94) Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon around 4:15 PM and had a really solid experience at Pho Ga Hai Van in Westminster. I ordered the Pho Bo Tai ($15.50) with rare steak and green onions. The broth was clean and flavorful with a nice depth without being overly salty. The rare steak was tender and sliced well, and the portion size felt fair for today's prices. For under $17 out the door with tax (9.25%), it's still one of the better values you'll find for a quality bowl of pho in Orange County. Service was efficient and friendly. My server was attentive without hovering, and the food came out quickly. The restaurant itself is casual and comfortable--nothing fancy, but clean and welcoming. Why four stars instead of five? While the pho was very good, it didn't quite reach that next-level, unforgettable broth status that makes you crave it the next day. Still, it absolutely hits the spot and is worth coming back for. Good spot when you're craving pho ga! I enjoyed the mien ga a little more just because I like glass noodles more than rice noodles. The broth is also slightly different in flavor, less sweet and has a lot of fried shallots which I love. Open late, fast service, and cozy interior. Parking in the center is okay but if you come at night time it's very easy. My only complaint would be that the chicken thigh we ordered was more boney than meaty as I would've preferred. Food, great. Chicken pho and Chicken clear noodles soup are both right on point. When I dont feel well enough to cook, I would come here for these items. Service, they're always nice to my family and I, no complaints here. Ambiance, this is where a star is deducted. It's in a pretty poorly maintain center and there's always homeless around. Been coming here for the dry chicken pho. Super delicious. Chicken is a little charred to give it a Smokey flavor. The spicy sauce is a bit too much tho. This place is a regular stop for my boyfriend and I for a number of reasons. 1. Open late - this has been such a convenient stop when we're craving something yummy and comforting late at night 2. The pho ga - so light yet tasty! I've definitely come on rougher days for this soothing soup to make it a bit better. Plus the sauce that comes with the chicken is to die for! They advertise 10 minutes and the food will be ready, they say that every time before they hang up the phone. What's the point of calling the order in ahead of time just so they can make me wait 22 minutes for my order. A guy came in used the bathroom, sat down, ordered and got his food before I did. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. After our food arrived, there was no check in, no water refills, and you have to go up to the counter to pay. At least its very convenient, streamlined, and efficient! I found the food to have a great depth of flavor, something a lot of pho places lack. I especially liked the wider noodles which offered a nice chew and texture change. I've been to this physical place many times. Some restaurants before Pho Ga Hai Van were very successful and they moved out to bigger places; some went out of business. I know so many Pho Ga around here and decided to give Pho Ga Hai Van a chance since they just opened and I want to support new restaurants. However I was not impressed with the pricing (high), the broth (OK, not great, nothing special), and the meat (portion is too small) for a $8 bowl. There was only 1 person in the restaurant when we walked in. We ordered a small bowl for me and XL for my husband. To my surprise the bowl of XL Pho for my husband was very typical and did not seem large at all. Only 4 pieces of chicken and some onions on top. Mediocre! read more

We went here because of the little yellow eggs the owner advertised on Yelp. It was $6 extra just to add it to your chicken pho which is already at $14 so a total of $20+. Not impressed at all. Save your money and go to Pho Song hai. This place is only for people who are not familiar with good chicken pho. Their soup is bland and the chicken was dry. Small spot in Westminster, we came back into town and just had to have some Pho Ga and we found this spot instead of having to go to our normal spots in SGV/LA, since we are staying in South OC.
