This place is awesome. After a two mile walk around the campus of CSULB we stopped in for some lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had a fresh salad bar. Both of has got two slices of pizza, a small salad and a small drink (with free refills) all for under $15. The salad bar was awesome with something for everyone. The pizza had the most delicious crust I think I've ever had. Normally I don't eat my crust but had to today. I will be going back. Great place! read more

#1 in Long Beach. One of the best regular style pizzas. Not exactly pan not exactly thin slice. I guess California style. The sauce is what makes this pizza good IMO. Slightly sweet. I have lived here in LB for 7 years now and have never found what I have been looking for.... Until I found Pizzamania. The pizza dough is out of this world: thick and crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. Absolutely delicious. Along with the pepperoni and green peppers just makes the entire thing over the top. The submarine sandwich is so good. The soft fresh bread makes the entire sandwich incredible. We live in Whittier and are very pizza particular, only Pizzamania on Telegraph Road for that flavorful, spicy sauce will due. Our daughter just transferred to CSULB and low and behold at the corner of Atherton in a small strip mall I saw this shop with the same name. And it is a second location from original franchise attempt. The pizza AND sauce did not disappoint. I was going through an emotional day but this pizza find added a super positive moment to my day. I'm a huge fan of a Pizzamania location in Whittier. I've been told this is the same family that owns this one. The pizza definitely seems similar but it's nowhere near as good as the Whittier location. It was decent. This location is much smaller than the Whittier location. I wouldn't call this location spotless but I also wouldn't call it dirty. The one employee I interacted with was nice enough. No complaints there. I just think if I was going to try a Pizzamania location, I'd probably drive a little further to the Whittier location. read more

Super disappointed, came here after looking at Christmas lights with my family the guy making the pizza in the back is wearing his mask under his chin, we are going through a huge spike in cases the least they can do is wear a mask while making someone's food. My stepdad went in & the guy behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask either. When I went into to express my concerns he said oh well I was just just wearing a mask. That's great but you aren't anymore so two & two don't add up! I will not be back to this location I will be taking my money to the Whittier location where it is very clear they care about covid. read more

Best pizza in Long Beach. We've been eating Pizzamania since they were in La Palma, in the 80's. Our entire family LOVES Pizzamania. After all these years the pizza is just as delicious. Having had a not so pleasant experience eating Canadian Place in Long Beach the week prior, I was a little bit hesitant to order pizza again. But I went ahead with it anyways. Pizzamania.. located behind Csulb, next to 7-11 in a tiny shopping center. Called in my order ahead of time which was One Medium Extra Cheese with Pepperoni. The total was $12.68 with everything included. Great deal. There medium is 10 slices and looks more like a Large. Wow, The Pizza Box was so heavy. Pizzamania understands the concept of Extra Cheese. Came for a quick dinner before a CSULB basketball game next door. Total bill for a medium "special" combination, large one-trip salad bar and pitcher of Stella was just about $40. Not bad, but not a giveaway either. Salad bar was fresh, but somewhat limited. Would have liked some tomatoes and kidney or garbanzo beans as well. Medium pizza was substantial- more like a large. To my surprise, I liked the puffy crust edges- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Would have preferred a wheat option. Flavor was great. Lots of veggies and it seemed like the Canadian bacon provided some nice smokiness. Wish they had other premium beer choices like besides Stella (which tastes like Bud anyway) and Newcastle, such as Sierra Nevada. All in all- too much food for two people. Better for three, which would make the $40 tab look more reasonable. Strip mall parking was small, but there were spaces. I could easily see it being 100% full. Definitely crowded on a game night.
