Recently, I called to request service to install a shower neck that I could not remove despite watching YouTube videos and numerous tries. I had an appointment scheduled and the plumber called me to ask about the problem in more detail. He said he was a Plumber with 31 years of experience and was absolutely certain he could show me how to loosen the shower arm without the need for him to come out to my place and charge me! Had a toilet leaking issue, dirty water leaked out under the base. The wax ring needed to be replaced. After shutting off water line I reached out to Rescue Plumbing. Javier and Alejandro came, examined the problem and provided suggestions on how to fix. They came as scheduled. The communication was efficient and Javier was able to take on my opinions and provide more tailored solutions. The work they did was of high quality, very professional, well organized and neat. The price they offered was on the higher-end, but after the work's done, I'd say it worth the price, compared to cheap but messy fix that won't last long. I called Rescue Plumbing to have a gas shutoff valve installed so that I could have my clothes dryer installed. Noah came out and explained why I was probably in the situation I was in and what my options were. He installed the shutoff valve. However, later I discovered my hot water heater stopped working as a result of Noah shutting of the gas to the house. Noah was not able to come out the next day, but did the day after. Looked at the water heater and explained it happened because of how old the water heater was. He shut it off and after a few attempts it started it up. Javier from Rescue Plumbing is great! I had a burst pipe from the cold temperatures so I called Rescue Plumbing.They were able to schedule me for an appointment the same day. Javier was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and how the job would be carried out. I very much appreciated that he answered all of my questions---which were many! When the issue was identified he made sure I understood the issue by explaining the situation and making sure I could see it. He also explained the cause of the issue and how to prevent future bursts. The pricing is very transparent so there were no surprises when it was time to pay the invoice. Javier explained the pricing beforehand as well as again, before payment. Couldn't recommend Dex and the Rescue Plumbing Team highly enough! We had an urgent leaking issue (lots of water coming down into our utility closet) that came from the unit above us late at night. Thankfully, we called Rescue Plumbing and Dex was there in what felt like 10 minutes. Immediately, he diagnosed the issue and resolved it with recommendations on what to do for next steps to mitigate the damage. If that wasn't great service enough, he called the next day to check how things were coming and stopped by to make sure the water heater was working properly and all was good. Honestly, one of the best experiences we have had with service in a really emergency, stressful situation. Connected with Rescue Plumbing through Yelp for a small project. I have nothing but good things to say about their dispatch and customer service - it is excellent, which is hard to find. I gave them an extra star for this specifically. For the appointment itself, I would rate it closer to 3 stars. The job itself was fairly minor (replacing two water filters), and they were in and out in under 30 minutes. I provided the materials and was charged $325 for the labor. Unfortunately, they didn't test the water system before they left. When we turned the water on, we barely had any pressure - basically a trickle. I found a valve was only partially open and pressed what I hope were the right buttons on the system, and things evened out. If it had gone perfectly, then I would have overlooked the cost. When you pay that much for so little time, then you shouldn't be in the basement pulling up online manuals just to have your water work. read more

Had originally booked my usual service to clear a clogged /backed up drain. Though when the time window came along I got a prompt call asking if they could reschedule to the following day. That too after waiting most of the day. (Unfortunate events occurred and they were stuck on other calls.) I needed this drain cleared pronto and could not wait any longer. So, I leaned on a referral a friend passed along and called Rescue. From the time I placed the call to the time they were on my property, the rescue operation went quick and they were in and out in no time. I was surprised at how quickly my service window was offered and the time they made it on site. Note, the repair happened a couple weeks back during lockdown. I was assured that their staff would have ppe on when dealing with the public. The work: A clogged kitchen sink on the first floor of an apartment building. In apartment buildings the line is shared (with those above it) and in the event of a clog or backup, that unit will suffer the backup of all (however many) units. The cost: Affordable. The next time I've got a plumbing emergency, glad to know another trusted service provider I can call to the Rescue. read more

Full disclosure: No services were rendered to me. Rescue plumbing customer service was great and got me set up for a same day estimate for a shower cartridge repair. The two plumbers that came out were very polite and knowledgeable and did confirm it was a bad shower cartridge. The reason for the lower review is the pricing. I was given an estimate of around $500-$600 for parts and labor, or if I purchased the part myself it was a flat fee of $385 for labor which seemed very high for an easy replacement. In the end I ended up buying the part for $100 from a plumbing store and used YouTube to guide me through the cartridge repair which took about 30 minutes. No more dripping shower! I'm still open to reaching out for estimates from Rescue Plumbing for future needs just based on the responsiveness and customer service. read more
