My wife and I hit the drive-thru after a hike this morning. Our first time here. I know. Blasphemy, right? It's a location smack dab on Bell Rd. in Surprise. Super convenient. Parking lot is super easy to navigate. Easy to enter / exit and no weird traffic patterns. The salad... let's talk about this salad. We both went with the antipasto salad. Lettuce, the veggies, the mozarella, everything was incredibly fresh. Not sure how it could have possibly gotten any fresher unless I picked it all myself. You know how when you go out to eat at some restaurants and you order a salad, the lettuce is slapped on your table still dripping wet on your plate? ...not the case here. My lettuce was fresh and dry. It wasn't begging for a life vest. That was nice. The chicken we included on our salad was also fresh, tender and not dry at all. It complimented our salads perfectly as did the dressing it was paired with which they also conveniently place on the SIDE of the salad. I don't like a lot of dressing on my salad. My wife does. I got to put as little on my salad as I wanted to and she got to put as much on hers as she wanted. After going out for pizza last night, it was nice to get a long hike in this morning and compliment our workout with an awesome salad for lunch. Lots and lots of food but obviously, none of it was bad for you. It's so awesome to see a healthy eating option for not a lot of cash. With two drinks and two enormous salads, we paid $13. Not a bad deal at all and unless you went with a burger and fries in a paper sack, I don't see how you could possibly spend less. Even if you hit up the local grocery store and got all of the ingredients on clearance, there's no way in hell you'd make this salad for any less. It's simply not possible. Awesome location. Salad and Go, in theory, is such a good idea. It's actually an idea I once had. I wanted to open my own Chipotle-style salad eateries but I really wasn't at all impressed with seeing someone else bring my idea to fruition. I ordered the Cobb Salad. I felt it was just ok and the portions weren't at all generous. I was also initially confused as I arrived and saw that that there was no option to go inside and I saw a banner that made me think that I had to download that app and that was the only way to order. This was super annoying as my mobile provider is pitiful in Arizona and I couldn't download the app in the proximity of this location. However after freaking out for a few minutes, I came to realize that I could treat their drive through like a normal drive through and order my food. I don't feel it necessary to return. read more

Horrible customer service from Nathan at 3/16/2025 around 8pm. Called the location about the menu online and i wanted to ask a simple yes or no question. He hung up immediately after my question, i called back and said i had just called and repeated myself. He finally said no. I asked if he just hung up the first time instead of answering me and he just said yes. Pretty bad if you can't even answer a yes/no question that would've taken 30 seconds of his time. I've been here a couple of times, maybe once a year or so. The prices are great for such large portions! The only thing for me, however is that I don't feel like the ingredients are all that fresh. When I take a bite it's just not the celebration happy dance that I'm looking for. It's not a place I recommend to go with friends but if it's brought up in conversation, I'll try it again in hopes I have a better salad. The vegetables are fresh, the tofu is seasoned and crumbled. They make delicious salads, and large portions for a reasonable price.

The only thing we don't like about Salad and Go is they are not anywhere near us. The salad are good food, inexpensive, a good variety and stellar drinks. When we are close to one, we eat multiple times in one week. All the dressings are gluten free and most of the salads are. Watch those croutons! They hold or add at a minimal fee. Please don't get the Blueberry Basil drink. Leave it for me!! That stuff is heaven. read more

A nice big salad exactly to your liking for less then half you pay at a restaurant, it's amazing. Pro tip : order on-line or through the app and you can quickly pickup your order in the drive thru. This traditional breakfast burrito was very good because it was rolled very tight. The bacon was small and crunchy, the potatoes were soft and the eggs were well cooked. The salsa was actually pretty good as well and throw in the $1 cold brew coffee for a nice breakfast under five bucks. read more

Fun little place. The drive thru was packed but I guess that's a good sign. I ordered the southwest ceaser w/ steak. I didn't care for the steal much but overall the salad was good and I LOVED the Poblano ceaser dressing!! I also ordered a chicken chowder that I really liked. If you want to add protein like chicken or shrimp (there are more choices) it is only a little more based upon the one you choose. Went through drive thru around 6pm one evening, the line was really long, backed up to the entrance of the parking lot, but we only waited about ten minutes to get to the window. Once we ordered, it was very quick. We had a Cobb Salad, Jalapeño Ranch, and a Southwest Sonoran, all were delicious and very fresh! The frozen strawberry lemonade and the blueberry basil lemonade were both refreshing. For all three salads and drinks we didn't spend more than $23. This morning we decided to pick up breakfast burritos and cold brew, I had the fiesta burrito it was very satisfying and the salsa included adds a little flavor, but is not too spicy. I just went through your location at 83rd Ave. and deer Valley and I ordered a Caesar salad and I got home and they didn't put the salad dressing in it. That's the second time that has happened in the last few months. That pisses me off so bad. I'm not driving all the way back to get the dressing and Cesar salad without dressing is just lettuce. I love salads and go I been coming here for past several months at least 3 to 4 times a week. Everything is always so great and fresh and the simple menu make it really easy to order. However the past couple of time I have notice the quality control is not great. My partner is allergic to beans. So when I order the bbq ranch I make sure to mention no beans. However I order the buffalo ranch salad and to my surprise there was a bean in side. Good thing this one was not for him. But I can't imagine If it was and he over looked it and accidentally ate it. That would have not been good. Over all this has only happen twice and we are still very happy with the quality and taste we just gotta double check and triple check our self now to make sure.
