I feel like this place is going downhill. I reviewed 5 stars in 2017. I havent gone in a few months. Today we went and the dressings were runny on all of our salads. My husband and I have felt sick since about an hour after eating it. My daughter said her chicken tasted bad. Do not let the long line of cars fool you! This is the most efficient crew working a drive Thru I have ever seen! They keep the line moving and grooving! I have never gotten an order wrong or waited a long time on the drive thru for my order! I love the summer crunch salad with buffalo chicken paired with an Arnold Palmer tea! I've been asking myself all day why I waited so long to try this place. This morning I wasn't feeling the greatest and was really craving something healthy and filling. I remembered that they served breakfast so I stopped by and was pleasantly surprised. I narrowed it down to either the breakfast bowl or the warm Quinoa Bowl. I decided the Warm Quinoa Bowl was exactly what I wanted. The service was great and I had my bowl in under three minutes. It was almost too beautiful to eat, but believe me I managed to eat every last night. The fruit was fresh, yummy peanut butter, and perfect mix of nuts and coconut as well. Whenever I want a quick salad here in Surprise this is my to-go place. Although the menu offerings are not huge, they excel at the offerings they do have. Their cobb salad and antipasto salad have always looked and tasted fresh, and I consider these two items to be my favorites. I have no complaints. Awhile back, they reduced the price of their fresh lemonades to only $1. This is quite the bargain and I often grab not 1, but 2, whenever I buy food from them. I love this place so much! It's so nice to have a quick, inexpensive option that's also pretty healthy! I love how many organic ingredients they offer now and hope they'll eventually go fully organic. Right now my favorite thing to order is the roasted Brussel sprouts and bacon salad wrap with the spiced cranberry lemonade. I'm going to go through serious withdrawals, when those two seasonal items are no longer available . . . I order the wrap with no apples, and it's amazing. The feta cheese, bacon, and Brussel sprouts are somehow a perfect flavor combo; it's seriously so good. The people are always really friendly and fast. Who would've thought that a, "drive through salad place" would make it?!?!? Weird huh? Salad and Go has been a God-send! I've been eating a ton of salad lately as part of a cleanse. Lately, I've been gone most weekends, so it's been easier to buy salads most nights of the week. I usually buy two salads per visit so I don't have to go each night. The service is fast and efficient; the salad and other menu options are decent. The prices aren't bad for drive through gourmet salad. (It's funny even writing that). You can mix and match your proteins and also add additional veggies. I love those, "NatureSweet Cherubs®" tomatoes so I buy them at Costco, along with avocados, to add to my salads. Because of my current work-out regimen - I usually double the protein. (Usually it's 4 ounces of chicken per salad so I get 8 ounces). One of these weekends I may create my own salads again, but for now, I "Salad and Go!" If you want a decent-sized and well-priced drive through gourmet salad, this is worth your patronage! So disappointed bought 4 salads and in one we found a worm or a maggot I'm not sure but it was slimy and looked like a worm so we went back and the lady who helped us gave us a refund and was so nice about it. The food is great. What's not great is how the employees prioritize drive thru orders over pick up orders. Had to wait over a half hour after our pick up time while we watched cars in the drive thru go in and out. Never heard of this place. However, friends wanted to grab a salad and go to the house to visit so I went there with them. I ordered the Cobb salad with chicken. OMG! So good. I got so much salad and chicken. Lots of fresh stuff. It was as good as any I've had at a sit down restaurant. The staff was friendly. Terrible location, poorly managed, won't be back. Avoid this location if you value your time and expect competence from the employees. Not to mention the drive thru at this location is significantly slower (consistently across a year's time) than all other locations I go to. Placed a very simple order today which the girl working the drive thru repeated back to me completely wrong. Then, after getting my food I realized my two caprese salads had no pesto dressing in them as they are supposed to. The pesto is a huge part of the taste of this salad and mine and my wife's favorite part so I park my car and walk up to the window to get help. The employee working the window, extremely unenthusiastic to help me and lacking empathy tells me "Oh, we're out of that".... well that would've been nice to know before they let me order the salads!!! Like wtf? Otherwise I would've said forget it and went to another location. He asks if I want another dressing instead because yeah, let me just throw some bbq ranch on my caprese salad... get real. I ask if I can get a refund which he then had to go ask someone if that was possible for some odd reason and came back and told me they can only give me cash... in 2022. So now I'm left with with a handful of cash and loose change when I haven't carried cash in over a decade and had to waste more of my time going to a different location to receive some actual service. Also side note, the salad randomly had spinach in it when it has NEVER been made with spinach. Horrible experience, won't be back and I'm encouraging many others I know to avoid this location... If I could give zero stars I would customer service was horrible beyond belief, their parking lot is not set up for success and was forced to get out of line twice by other customers because they could not make the turn to get into the drive thru. My e Chile was almost hit 2 separate times due to the terrible driving As seen by employees but when I tried to order at the window after they had seen what had happen they told me I was unable to order here and to get back into the drive thru line. I've only been here twice for lunch during work from Luke. It was so good that I went again the very next day for lunch! My friend suggested this place and I'm glad she did as I see why she's hooked!
