    Latte
    Ashli A.

Simple latte. Delicious coffee. Lots of pastries for there and to-go in little cookie bags! This place was cute and has your typical social, coffee-shop ambiance going on. Service was good, and I appreciate the recommendations when it comes to pastries. I actually didn't end up getting any because I couldn't choose, and opted for a latte instead. The latte was pretty good, and I appreciate the paper straws. The area felt very safe and was in walking distance to a few other stops on my trip I had that day. The shop was very clean and the worker was nice. The place wasn't that crowded, so you can get some work done if you work from your computer. I'd definitely come again, and hopefully get to try one of the pastries/cookies. They looked great!

    Coffee and treats !

We came in with my girlfriends after taking the puppy yoga class around the corner. Honestly we just wanted to grab some coffee, but what we found was better! I ordered my regular - a match, and my friends had coffees. There was so many treats to choose from! We each got one pastry and shared as a little taste test. A chocolate cookie, that was soft and basically melted in your mouth, a mini pizza scone!!!!!!!!! DELICIOUS!!! LIKE WHAT?!?!? And a blueberry scone, which was the best because it wasn't that sweet at all. Everything was so so gooooooooooooood. I would love to come back to try more. The only thing is that this cafe is very big and yet DOESN'T have a bathroom for customers.... ummmmmmmm..... not very good if you want to come in and work or chat with friend's for an extended amount of time....

    Brown butter latte

Got the brown butter latte with whole milk and chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was good, just had way too much chocolate for my liking. The coffee was undrinkable, as you can see by the color it was just straight up flavored milk. Had to go somewhere else to order another shot of espresso to make it drinkable.

The vegan tahini chocolate chip cookie is truly excellent. Crispy, crunchy, rich, and chocolatey - it is one of the best I've had. The oat cappuccino was also great.

Needed a boost after thrifting majority of the morning. Ended up getting their monthly special drink which I can't recall but was a sweeter drink but still delicious. The service was quick for being midday. There was a decent amount of seating but can get filled rather quickly. However, their apple cider walnut cookie - FANTASTIC. I hope I can recreate this recipe in the near future because it was crispy and soft at the same time. The chocolate chip cookie was a bit more chocolate heavy than I cared for but could take a couple bites.

Matcha with oat milk (look at that sad shade of green)
    Leanne C.

Rating of 2 is based only on the taste of matcha only and not for the coffee! My cousin had tried one of the hot tiramisu coffee and it was good so don't knock the coffee at this caffe I got a matcha for $8.55 with oat milk and honestly it just tasted like flat out milk which is really really disappointing. I normally try to finish my matcha even though they don't taste good but I ended up just throwing it away. I was so sad because spending $8+ is matcha is expensive that tasted like flat out oat milk. You can obviously tell by the color of how it came out. Upon waiting for matcha, I did do a second purchase of the matcha cookies which came out to about $17 or $18 because I had fear of missing out when my cousin's wife had bought some for a gift for him!!! It was good but I don't think I would buy it again. It does say to warm it for it so maybe I'll try it warmed up and come back and edit this review. I wouldn't ever get a matcha again!!! edit: Matcha cookies were yummy warmed up for 15 seconds!

I was having a not so great day at work so decided to treat myself. A coworker and I went around the corner to 7 Grams in search of coffee and a cookie and that is what we found! I ordered an iced vanilla latte along with their classic chocolate chip cookie. Their cookies are pretty big - they're baked well on the outside and gooey on the inside. Just what I needed!

    Alisa J.

The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good. If you like half raw and gooey cookies on the inside then these are for you. The service was nice.

I love to try new cafe / coffee shops anywhere we travel too. Never been to one of these locations before but this one was near our hotel we stayed at, so I stopped in to grab coffees. Wasn't such a fan of my ice beverage but still enjoyed trying something new, it wasn't bad ; it just wasn't what I'm use to tasting in my coffee. The hot coffee was enjoyable to my wife and said she'd recommend it; so there's that.

One of my coworkers brought in one of their brown butter, chocolate chip cookies, and it was so good that I had to stop in for myself. It was so cold outside, so I thought a hot coffee would be really good. I ended up going with the pumpkin spice latte which was tasty, but it was very crumbly towards the bottom. I think it was from the spices that are put into it, but regardless, it was really good. I also got the gingerbread cookie and the red velvet cookie and they were really good but I like the brown butter chocolate chip one a lot better. The people working were very friendly and answered any questions that I had they told me their favorite drink. The store is very calm and peaceful. I would like to sit in there and do work one day!

A hot cappuccino was needed desperately on Black Friday. As I had gone for a test and had fasted for twelve hours, I needed a hot drink. With it I ate a house made croissant which was mediocre tasting. I would have preferred to dash off to Tall Poppy for their superb buttery ones but there was no time. I sat inside to eat and drink. A few customers were also here. Anna took my order and made the coffee.

We saw people queuing down the block for Crumbl cookies and no line here and waay better cookies. Expensive but good cookies, since when did a cookie cost $6.40?! It should be like $4! They had a lot of different choices of chocolate chip based cookies and they were still warm and gooey, the counter didn't look like they kept em warm but must have. Had coffee here the next day, decent coffee but again expensive.

I stopped in to Seven Grams this morning with a friend to grab a coffee before a walk on the High Line. It came as a recommendation from Holly K who had been there the day prior, and of course, there are plenty of reviews that back up that rec too! We met around 7:30am and there wasn't much a line... We ordered our drinks and hydrated a bit with the readily available water while we waited, but it didn't take long. I had my beautiful "flat white with oat milk" in hand within just a few minutes and I was happy... I may have been even happier had I also picked up a pastry or cookie. I'll have to do that next time - or maybe even consider ordering a package of them to be shipped to me at home! This is a little cafe, but there is a fair amount of seating inside. Service was friendly and I believe there is also wifi available. It was conveniently located near my hotel in Chelsea, so if you find yourself in the area, I definitely recommend popping in!

It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I had never heard of the place before, but I was happy to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite.
