Such a treasure of a place! Please share and come back to keep this place alive! The never ending shrimp was phenomenal, absolutely fresh and clean salad bar and the service is top notch fantastic from the front desk to the servers and kitchen. Thanks GUY for taking the best care of us

Came in to order and all you can eat salad and all that comes with it in my guest went ahead and ordered a steak with the Malibu chicken. Not sure if it's the time of day but sometimes things can be off a bit, and today they were definitely off. The chicken was a bit on the cold side and steak not well done, but I still helped my guest polish it off anyways. While not pictured, Maribella did her best to salvage the experience, and for the most part succeeded with making constant rounds to refresh my salad bar plates, despite the steak and chicken being a little off. For the most car, a decent experience.

We checked this place out recently for dinner and it was ok. My wife and I can't remember ever going to a Sizzler and this one was within walking distance to our hotel. My daughter had the kid's chicken tender meal. My wife ordered the unlimited salad bar and I had the 8 oz tri-tip steak with garlic mashed potatoes. My steak was ok, but I had to cut off quite a bit of fat. My wife said the salad bar was ok, but she couldn't find a lot of options. My daughter enjoyed her chicken strips and the complementary toast. Our server was friendly.

I don't remember how it started - just that a social media post was shared about Sizzler having its roots in Culver City - possibly also how so many restaurants (and businesses) are shutting down - but it resulted in a group of us having lunch here over the weekend. It's been so long since I stepped foot into a Sizzler that I can't even remember. But walking in, seeing the salad bar brought back memories. I'm getting ahead of myself though ... Parking was free and easy. At this location, the lot is under the freeway. Go and you'll see what I mean. Lots of space. When I left, the place was still packed, yet there were lots of spaces left. Maybe a bunch of guests just walked from the mall - but whatever the case, if it's packed, park at the mall and cross the street. Walk in, pay then find a seat. Something I found interesting is that you add the tip which is given to you in cash, to give to the server. Not sure I like this because I have to wonder how many people stiff the server. But just have have faith in humanity ... I'm trying. And service was great. I believe his name was Raul. He handled our party of 6 like a pro. It was busy and I mean busy. Tables were filled while people were waiting for the table kinda busy. All orders were correct and he made sure to take care of us with the cheese toast. I ordered the Ribeye along with Rice Pilaf. Added Sauteed Mushrooms and Grilled Onions. The only gripe I have is that if you look at the pics, I would have liked my onions to have been grilled more. Otherwise, all was great. Steak prepare as requested - Rare. And believe it or not, other than a few slice of cheese toast, I left stuffed. I did have more than a handful of refills of iced tea. I didn't even end up having dinner that night. I left fat and happy. Happy, not just because of the food but the experience. The reminder of simpler times, like my first experience with a salad bar. Or stuffing myself with dessert. It was a blast from the past and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up here again.

Nostalgic, Nostalgic, Nostalgic!! Sizzler makes you Sizzles... Our friends wanted to do a lunch at the first ever Sizzler and here we are in Culver City. Let me tell you, I have not been to a Sizzler for over 15 years! There are 2 locations near me and we don't even go! I opt in with a RIBEYE steak since I haven't had one in a while... YES, they have rib eye steaks! I did not have high expectations and expected to order medium rare and the steak comes back medium well like most American diners serving non steaks specialty restaurants. To my surprised, the steak did came out medium rare with charred marks on the outside, the way I like my steaks! The fat and meat ratio was not bad. Not overly fatty. For $28, I was content because usually spends $40 to $50 for the same quality elsewhere. The salad bar was fresh and clean, the clam chowder soup was also delicious. It had real clams inside and its rich in flavor Everything was so Nostalgic from the way you order your food, the salad bar, and to the yummy complimentary cheese toasts!! Our waiter, RAUL was such a fine, classy, helpful waiter. He was always cleaning up our plates, and checking in. The restaurant was bright and clean and I see the staffs constantly refilling and wiping down the salad bar section. Believe it or not, we were there for 4 hours and they never rushed us out. Parking is a bit misleading. If you enter from south side, they only have about 10 parking spots, go to the other side of the restaurant and there are plenty of parking spots under the freeway bridge. I look forward to coming here again when I want a convenient Ribeye steak a d salad bar.

Brought me many memories of times gone... I used to come to Sizzler after flights when I used to work for an airline... it's an traditional type of restaurant, with very good affordable meals... I got a prime rib burger that to be honest, is one of the best I've tried... I know it's a people's restaurant that you tend to forget when you grow you taste to the next level, but still I love it !! my wife had the salad bar that it's one of the last survivors in town... Ana our server was beautifully helpful !! The only diminishing fact was the carpet in this venue, it looks extremely old and dirty, they might think about either installing a new one or change it to something more modern like tile floor... anyway I'm invited to come back some time and the price is very modest compared to the food..

This is nostalgia. It was my Grandparents place to eat at and we spent many evenings at Sizzler after church. Not much has changed and I believe this restaurant deserves a do over that gathers the crowds to enjoy good food. We spent 150 for 5 adults. I got the peach lemonade, rib eye medium with baked potato and I added the soup and salad bar. Guy was our waiter and he was amazing. Lemonade is refreshing. I enjoyed the peach flavor. It hit the spot. My ribeye was tasty but the meat was chewy. It was prepared medium but I still had to chew like a cow. I will get the shrimp next time. The salad bar is extravagant. I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 types of lettuce and all the toppings from hard boiled eggs, beets, banana peppers, Craisins, etc. I will be back to enjoy the salad bar. The clam chowder was just okay. It wasn't terrible but I could take it or leave it. Potatoes were mushy and water logged. I truly believe if they can prepare better steak amd invest in higher or more expensive cuts of meat or get higher grade of the cuts they have, the steak will take off. They should really work to revamp that because Sizzler's should be known for their steak but it's definitely not there yet. Service is effective and efficient. Restaurant is clean and roomy. I hope Corporation reads this and makes amends. I wanna see Sizzler revitalized.

My brother & i come at least once a week to eat here. We are big steak lovers and we love coming here because it's so chill. Our server is usually the same person hahaha shoutout to Guy. He's alway so attentive. The steak is always cooked the way we want it which is nice because that's hard to get sometimes in other places. the restaurant is clean for the most part, restroom could be cleaner. ps. sizzler please bring back peanuts topping for ice cream

We came here on a Tuesday night and it was good. We got the steak and herb chicken plate with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, my friend and I shared one. My other also got the same thing and he added the salad bar. They have a lot of selections for the salad bar from fried green beans to soup and even dessert. We love the garlic bread they provide. It tastes so good. The service was good and fast. The ambience is super chill. They have a lot of parking which is great.

This is by far the worst Sizzler we have ever been to. The food was so bad I sent it back and just asked for a refund, I never do that. Parking is easy in their lot. The place is not clean enough to my standards. The bathrooms were very clean. The salad bar was so boring. Other Sizzlers have a nice selection. This was not. We walked into order, you order right when you walk in. There is not a huge menu like other Sizzlers. I ordered a burger rare and I was very clear about rare. I was asked if I wanted fries or a baked potato. I thought those were my only choices, I ordered the baked potato with no sour cream. My husband ordered a steak rare and was shown side choices that I was never offered on a little card near where you stand at the counter. He ordered a baked potato. I had no idea they also had garlic mashed and a few others. I did not want to confuse so I let it go. Really bad way to market. We went in and found a booth which needed my napkin to clean it. It had already been their idea of clean. Not mine. A server came by took our receipt and asked if we wanted some garlic bread. It never came. Our food arrived and my burger was medium well. Gross. My baked potato was filled with sour cream. I tasted my burger and though I am not eating this. I sent it back to have it and the potato done right. My husbands steak was medium. He just ate it. He was not thrilled. My food came back and again the burger was overcooked. The baked potato had no softness to it. And where is that bread. Not coming, ever. I tried to eat this way over cooked burger and I was done. I sent it back and said just take it off the bill. No one came to say sorry, our server sort of disappeared off the planet. My husband was bummed because he knew I would not be having dinner at all. Oh well. I was so disappointed. I will never go back and again not one person came to say we messed up, sorry. Nothing. Stay away.

I used to go to this place ever so often when they had locations on the East Coast while driving down Sepulveda Boulevard I happen to notice a very familiar logo. I just had to go inside and eat a meal and go back so many childhood memories of service was amazing. The ambience welcome to your hunger in a way that you knew you were leaving satisfied can't wait to go back home and tell people about this place all over again. They'll probably think I'm lying. But I got the pics to prove it. Thanks for such an amazing blast to the past.

Me and my dad came here to eat brunch. The first sign that it wasn't good was how empty it was. The service was good , food came out fast , the salad bar was good. When we were waiting for our food and it came out , we realized there was a hair in the rice as you can see in the bottom left of the plate. We immediately lost our appetite and told the manager and he gave us a refund. Never again will we go back to this location.

We threw a baby shower here and it was fabulous. For 25.00 we were able to reserve the cordened off back part and MGR Havvie and the team really provided excellent service. He accommodated our group and really worked with me. He did not treat us like criminals and all of us have nothing but respect. We ordered the salad bars and drinks for everyone, it was a huge ticket but I wanted to give my business to Sizzler. It was between them and Beppo or Olive Garden. I'm so glad we came here and would come again for the warm treatment clean Ambiance...Sizzler don't skimp on the Salar Bar we all grew up on keep it fresh and vibrant as you have.

What's even more shocking was that I was driving by a place that in my eyes deserves some special attention! So espresso martinis are a thing and this place came highly recommended for them so my sugar sugar and I said, why not?? We made reservations and left a bit early because based off Google Maps the restaurant is on the corner of Manchester and Lincoln but based off my memory, I never saw a restaurant with that name! So to clear the air, it's there y'all, you just have to slow down and look. When you walk in the restaurant is dimmed and it totally sets the mood and my mood was steak!! Our waiter was super cool and we appreciate his hospitality. He asked if it was our first time. We confirmed and he ensured us that we would enjoy our experience and enjoy we did! First - espresso martinis. It was as if the bartender read our minds...they were made to perfection! Flavorful and you can definitely taste the balance of the espresso and alcohol. I ordered the steak frites and sugar sugar ordered the salmon. We always try each other's food and we couldn't determine which dish was better. The salmon was baked perfectly and the side salad was delicious! The steak had just enough seasoning so that it didn't overpower the quality of the meat. I have never had a perfectly cooked steak in my life! Ruth Chris who? Maestros where? I don't even eat steak on a regular but best believe it will be at the Manchester moving forward. As sugar sugar and I continue on our quest to try as many espresso martinis in LA, best hands down the best steak for me is here! Save me a seat!!

I had no desire to take him there, but a friend…read morehad bought a gift card (she was with us so we felt sort of forced to go there) and we thought it must be better than last time. It was not. The whole thing was a mess from start to finish. We have never been so disappointed in a steakhouse. It was a huge BD event, my Husband's 70th and I was so embarrassed that I took him there. The smiles on our faces were the best we could do. We were miserable. The food was awful, it took forever and not one item came out on time. The prices are way to high for Sizzler style food. The steaks were not made as ordered and we asked do they know how to make a Pittsburgh style steak, "Oh, of course" the clueless server said. I explain below for whoever made that awful steak how to make it. Sad that I have to explain. It was only 5 pm, we had reservations and the place was next to empty. Our server came by explained she was busy and would be right back. Clearly they don't bother to hire enough people. When she finally showed back up we put in a drink order. I ordered coffee. 10 minutes later, no coffee. I waited and finally go it. It was fine, just like IHOP. Now during dinner my coffee was moved by a runner and I had no idea where it went. I waited and waited and when the server showed up I asked her where my coffee went. She explained that the runner had moved it away from me to the front of the table so he could place sides. It was now quite cold. No explanation. Nothing. The sides were terrible. We ordered garlic mashed and it was either just mashed potatoes or they forgot the garlic, but they charged me for it. The spinach was luke warm and no one ate it. We ordered lobster mac and cheese and got really bad mac and cheese with cold lobster pieces tossed on the top. None of it was mixed in and it was cold, like it just came out of a freezer bag. It was tough. No one ate that either. The bread was fine. The salads were okay but not as crisp as they should be. My son in laws steak was okay, sort of like a good Sizzler. My daughter ordered the jumbo lobster. It was no different than the regular lobster on the menu, just for a much higher price. She was pissed and about at the end of her patience. We would have left, but my grandson has anxiety and that just can't happen, but I had to take him to dinner after this mess. I had crab cakes that were to be lump crab with a great sauce. They were luke warm and not good, especially for the price. My husband had his non-Pittsburgh style steak (they really need to fire the chef) with asparagus and crab cake. The asparagus was fine, but not even close to what you might expect at a fine dining place. And we ordered a side of it and it just sat. The Birthday cheesecake they gave my husband was fine. No one ate it. They did have cute little BD glitter that they dropped at the table. Now the worst of all was my grandson wanted French Onion Soup. Someone forgot and it was delivered at dessert time. No explanation. Nothing. It was watery and not hot. It was left uneaten as most of our food was. This is by far the worst steakhouse we have ever been to and this was a big day. Can't fix that. Can't fix a server who is slow and can't even make sure the soup is delivered, I don't know, when soup should be delivered. We should have paid for nothing. It was that bad and I have never said that. Shame on you for ripping people off without care. Now, for the "cook" who ruined my husband's BD steak: To grill a steak Pittsburgh style (also called "black and blue"), cook a thick, room-temperature cut over blazing-hot direct heat (1,000°F+) for just 2 to 3 minutes per side. The outside gets heavily charred and blackened, while the inside stays cool, tender, and rare (blue). It was taken from fridge and not room temp. My husband is from Pittsburgh. It was not at all like I just explained. This is not rocket science. Moving on, pat the steak completely dry with paper towels, this clearly was not done. Now, rub lightly with high-smoke-point oil (like canola or avocado oil) or a thin layer of butter. Season generously with coarse salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, or a heavy blackening spice blend. Not done at all. Now, fire up the grill as hot as possible. Let the grates heat up intensely for 10 minutes (never happened) Okay, now cook the steak. Place the steak directly over the hottest part of the fire. Sear hard for 2 to 3 minutes on the first side until a dark, charred crust forms. Flip and sear the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes. Do not move it around excessively; you want a fast, aggressive external burn while keeping the interior blue-rare. Rest and serve. Now if you can't do this than don't say you can. I can do it for God's sake. They don't care about you. They clearly did not care about us. Do not go there. They should be shut down.

We had a great experience and great food at N17 The Lane! I see some recent complaints regarding…read moreservice during the World Cup. It's clear they've put intentional effort into improving this week, as service was a highlight for us. Our waiter, Sunny, was so polite, quick, and communicative. He had a lot of tables to cover, as it was a packed and chaotic room during the Mexico vs. Ecuador game last night. The N17 burger and fries (both the regular shoe string fries and sweet potato fries) were fantastic! Both were cooked just right, very flavorful, and the fries were nice and crispy. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant in front isn't your typical "sports bar" - it feels more like a cute, sunny brunch restaurant with high-quality screens for sports viewing - but the clientele feels just like any other sports bar would :) It was very lively and fun to watch with others last night. For the World Cup, they've opened up their event space in the back which is not set up like a typical restaurant - but it was great for viewing! The screens are HUGE and very high-quality.

Listen, I understand being busy is one thing but blatantly ignoring paying customers that have been sitting and waiting to be served for 20-30 minutes after only ordering two drinks is strange to me. And then to come back and ask if we wanted to remove the items we already ordered without us having to bring it up just lets me know that you remembered all this time but chose not to serve us until someone had to go ask to be served AGAIN. Even other venues that are 5x bigger than this one have better customer service/attentiveness. We also ordered the bottomless mimosas and only got through 2 bottles because it took them 20 minutes to bring out the first one and another 15 to bring out the second one when it was asked for. And on top of that, they act like they're doing YOU a favor by bringing out the food & drinks that YOU paid for. I have never written a negative review before but this experience was awful; just a waste of money &, what should have been, a good time.

One of Culver City's best hidden gems. If you're looking for a special occasion steakhouse, save…read moreyour money and come here instead. From the outside, you'd probably drive right past George Petrelli's. It doesn't scream "legendary steakhouse," and that's part of its charm. Once you walk through the doors, you're transported into an old-school steakhouse that's stayed true to itself for decades. No gimmicks. No trendy décor. Just a warm dining room, a welcoming bar, familiar faces, and consistently outstanding food. I've been here for birthdays, family dinners, celebrations, and date nights, and one thing has never changed: The food is consistently phenomenal. If it's your first visit, stop overthinking the menu and order the filet mignon dinner. It comes with your choice of soup, salad, potato, fresh vegetables, and the filet. I always go with the French onion soup. Rich, savory, topped with perfectly melted cheese--it's the perfect way to start the meal. The salad deserves a mention too. Fresh greens, beets (which I love), and a light balsamic dressing. Simple, but incredibly well done. Then comes the filet. Hands down one of the most tender filets I've ever had. I ordered mine medium-rare, and it was cooked perfectly. It cuts like butter, stays juicy, and the seasoning is spot on. It's the kind of steak that reminds you why classic steakhouses still exist. If you're hungry, order the double filet. For around $60-70, you get soup, salad, vegetables, your choice of potato, and two generous filets. Considering what many steakhouses charge today, it's one of the best values you'll find. The vegetables--carrots, zucchini, and onions--are cooked perfectly, and whether you choose the mashed potatoes or baked potato, you really can't go wrong. I've even brought family here. When my brother came into town and asked where I wanted dinner, I picked George Petrelli's without hesitation. He ordered the prime rib while I stayed loyal to the filet, and we both left impressed. I've honestly never had a disappointing meal here. My biggest regret? I never take enough food pictures. Every visit, I end up putting my phone away because I'm too busy enjoying the company, conversation, atmosphere, and food. That's probably the biggest compliments I can give any restaurant. The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. It's calm, quiet, and you can actually hear the people you're dining with. It feels like the kind of steakhouse where people have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries for generations. I also love sitting near the bar. Juan, the bartender, is one of the biggest reasons why. He's professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about taking care of guests. One night they ran out of ginger beer for my usual drink, so instead of saying no, he made me something similar--and absolutely nailed it. Those little moments are what great hospitality is all about. The bussers and the rest of the staff have always been attentive and welcoming. The only consistent downside has been one older tall blonde waitress. Every time she's been our server, the experience has felt noticeably different. During our latest visit she forgot to put in my drink order, rarely checked on us, and we eventually had to flag her down just to get the check. What makes her stand out, is that everyone else--from Juan to the bussers and other servers--creates such a warm atmosphere. Her service consistently feels rushed and detached, and it changes the mood in an otherwise wonderful dining experience. Thankfully, it hasn't been enough to keep me from coming back. One thing I've never understood is why this place doesn't get more recognition. I've eaten at restaurants with much higher Yelp ratings that served far worse food. Yes, George Petrelli's costs more than places like BJ's or Sizzler, but it's also offering an experience those restaurants aren't trying to provide. I'd even choose it over Lucille's when I want a quieter dinner and a truly memorable steak. This isn't a restaurant you visit because it's trendy. It's a restaurant you visit because it consistently delivers. I write reviews to help people spend their money wisely. If you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, date night, or simply want one of the best filet mignons around, save your money and come here instead. I think you'll understand why I keep coming back.
