This place is insanely good! Don't be fooled by the Asian fusion bbq spin on the menu. This is as good as any bbq you'll find anywhere! Yes, they do offer white sticky rice, or noodles, with their plate options instead of what you'd normally think of with bbq. However, this slight spin on things just leaves more room in your stomach for the important things...the meats! I've been in twice in the first week of finding this place and have tried the pulled pork, brisket, teriyaki chicken, pork belly, fried swai fish, jalapeno cheddar sausage, and their house made pork rinds! Though I have my favorites, the margin is so close that I literally would be happy with any of these options! We went on a sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. They smoke all the meat inhouse they mentioned. Really really soft brisket. The pork teriyaki was also so good. Served with pancit and lumpia. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the kitchen staff as well as the owner, Larry. Larry was delighted to take my order and informed me about the quality of his food as well as the specials. He prides himself on everything being made in House, which you definitely taste when you try the food. I ordered the chicken Katsu special that came with a spicy jalapeño sausage. Larry was so nice to strike up a conversation with me, he even let me sample some of his delicious pork rinds that are also made in House. The food was delicious and was packed full of flavor. Price, quality, quantity check all the right boxes. We almost did not come here because of the a couple negative reviews but are so glad we gave it a tried. One of the most moist brisket I've had around around Vegas. I did not expect this style BBQ would taste good serving this way but somehow it actually works. The rice, noodles and a couple eggrolls was a nice change from the typical BBQ joint. The generous types of condiments was a huge plus and everything was kept nice and clean. My fiancé and I stopped in after going to the gym. We were greeted by the owner who was super friendly. As we looked over the menu, the owner chatted with us and welcomed us as it was our first time. We ordered 2 of the rice bowls, one with pork belly and one chicken katsu with a side of potato salad. While waiting for our order, we hit up the little condiment bar that consisted of different pickled items and different bbq sauces. The owner mentioned that some of the items on the bar were house made. Along with the pork rinds they sell which are made fresh. He gave us a little sample and they were delicious! I was in Vegas for a Bowling Tournament at South Point. My peoples and I decided to have an impromptu pool party at the nearby AirBnB we resided at. We peeped Yelp and looked for sandwiches. I asked the Chef, because he was there, why the name? The Chef gave me his meaning. He said with exuberance "The Sammich is the Mightiest of all sandwiches and sammiches". I smiled, dapped him up, man hugged him, gave him a fist bump, and I said "That's what's good, Bro". Let's talk about the menu. Everything is made to order. The Chef is an avid food enthusiasts. He takes risks with tastes and experiments to create new flavors. I saw him formulating some flavors while there because it was a "soft opening"! They weren't fully open! How did this come about? Gave it a try and glad that I did. This is an Asian bbq fusion and crazily enough it works. I got the brisket bowl with rice and chow mein and it all went together way better than I expected. Can we say WOW. Ordered delivery to work and I can't tell you how delicious the brisket bowl was. The beef was literally the most tender and flavorful I had ever had - I didn't even need the bbq sauce but I wanted to taste them. My favorite was the spicy sauce - so good! I got half rice/half noodles and next time I'm going to just get the noodles because they were delicious. The order also came with 2 rolls. I got the chicken rolls which were light and airy. The young man Neil greeted my fiancée and I 1 hour before closing time with such a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Neil answered our questions and provided suggestions and we decided to try his suggestions out. He asked us if we liked pork rinds then gave us some samples of their homemade pork rinds while we wait for our food. Pork rinds were really good, not too salty. We got the smoked brisket rice bowl and pork belly rice bowl and not one part of that meal disappointed and for me to say that says a lot. To me, food is food, but the brisket? Super tender and very tasty! Did not need bbq sauce at all. Then we tried the pork belly and we were just mind blown! Tender and juicy like the brisket but not overly fatty pieces like how?! Rice was soft, pancit was delicious, lumpia was amazing...it was obvious that literally everything was fresh. The place is a good size, very very clean with a toppings bar to get your pickled veggies. Bathroom was super clean. Neil checked on us a couple times just to make sure we were good but not overbearing. We then had a fun and pleasant conversation with Neil and chef Larry that carried on 15 mins after closing time. They really have their priorities straight: Take care of your customers by providing the best food they can make and let your food and customer service do the rest. They aren't chasing your money. They're chasing your willingness to come through their doors and try their food. They know once you do, you WILL come back for more. This place will be where we frequent every time we are in Vegas.
