I went for the wrap while my friends opted for salads, and I must say, the salad FEELS much more loaded with toppings (not too sure if it is more meat than the wrap) The lamb in my wrap was beautifully marinated, complemented perfectly by the harissa spread. The addition of pickled onions, nuts, seeds, and cucumbers added a fantastic crunch to each bite. I did feel that sometimes the food could be a bit salty. Another excellent note was the hot sauce provided on the tables, my friends said it somewhat reminded them of Taco Bell mild sauce (which is excellent!) The ambiance is charming, though it can get a bit warm inside (or maybe it felt warm because of the rotating chickens on display) Seating is limited to only 3-4 tables, so plan accordingly. read more

You could also upgrade it with other sauces but the fries were good enough on its own. Been wanting to try Souvla for years and finally got around to it this week when I was up in the Marina. I wanted to check if it lived up to its hype in SF and can confirm it does. I ordered the rotisserie chicken salad, and it was mouthwatering. Definitely one of the best salads I've ever had, as all the ingredients were fresh. To my surprise, I realized that the yogurt itself is super tart and not sweet at all. We stopped by here after seeing it on a tik-tok, haha! So glad we did! Visiting this shop is like a little trip over seas to Greece. Outside the shop are various signs with Greek and English inscriptions, all with the classic blue and white color scheme. There is both indoor and outside patio dining available with high and low top tables (Note you must have your vaccination card to sit indoors at restaurants in SF). As well as a to-go window for pick up from the outside. I loved the water spicket and bowls they had out front for our doggies! So sweet! The staff are so friendly and kind, and the service is really fast! I had the pork souvlaki sandwich was good, I think the pork was a little more of a tough texture than I was expecting, but it was still delicious! I might try the chicken next time. The sandwich itself was amazing. A large portion filled with meat, tomatoes, cucumber, feta, and their mint sauce. SO GOOD! This place is awesome for a quick lunch! I love how fresh and colorful their ingredients are. The menu is really small, which makes for an easy decision.
