This was my second time here, and it was just as delicious as the first time! This was my first time trying their mixed drinks, and we were there just in time for Happy Hour. I like how they have it on weekends too, which isn't always the case. For only $8, I got the Thai Breeze, which is their take on a classic rum punch. I drank every sip! It's also the kind of drink that doesn't have a super alcohol-forward taste, but it creeps up on you. All I can say is, if was very well-made and had amazing flavor! That's definitely a common theme for me at this place. My parents and I also ordered their vegetable dumplings, as well as their shrimp summer rolls, which are both appetizers I would very strongly recommend. The wrappers on the dumplings were delicate, yet didn't break apart. The dipping sauce was mild flavored and had a very subtle sweetness. As for the summer rolls, those are an iconic item I can't miss at a Vietnamese restaurant, so I'm always happy when Thai restaurants have them on their menu. It's served with a thick, tamarind-based sauce, which adds a ton of flavor. They were also pretty sturdy. When it comes to Thai food, pad see ew has been my go-to for several years. I had Spice's pad see ew the first time I had went, but I figured I'd switch it up. I instead got their tofu and mixed vegetables with garlic sauce, which I've discovered in recent years is another favorite dish of mine. They use minced garlic on top that's stir-fried until it has a slight crisp. The entire dish was bursting with flavor. I'm not kidding when I say that every last drop of it was gone when I finished it. As for the servers, everyone in this place is very welcoming and accommodating. They serve everyone with a smile and a good attitude. Our server brought us our water soon after us sitting down, and was very pleasant the whole time. I'm also impressed by the versatility in their menu- they have a zucchini pad Thai, which uses zucchini noodles instead of regular noodles- my mom got it to eat, and she said she didn't miss the noodles. They also have a pretty substantial section of vegan dishes, which makes this restaurant even more amazing. Go support them! read more

Take advantage of their lunch specials that come with an appetizer for roughly $15. I was skeptical of the serving size of a lunch special but to my surprise, the portions are more than enough for lunch. The fried shrimp dumpling appetizer is a must try along with the pad Thai. I recently popped into this Spice location after planning to eat at a not so distant place that told us we had to wait for an hour. Classy little restaurant with excellent Panang curry!! It was nice to have Panang with green beans instead of bell peppers for once (I'm not a bell pepper fan), and the curry itself had a nice kick to it as well. Came here with my friend and she loves Thai food. She had fried rice and I had the drunken noodle. I could say tho the drunken noodles didn't come packed in full flavor compared to other Thai spots I've been to but overall was pretty good. I would say the fried calamari was top notch and service was pretty attentive to us. We came during lunch hours so not much people were eating and relaxing music was playing in the area. I have always been a fan of the Spice restaurants. My family have been patrons for years. One night I stopped in to pick up some dinner for the family and once again, the food was amazing. Hubby had the pulled pork sando which he loved. I ordered a half crispy duck, crab fried rice and pad Thai for the rest of us to share. We also had the appetizer sampler because, golden fritters, hellooooooo! Veggie dumplings and lemongrass Tom yum soup rounded out the meal. The portions are big enough to share and the flavors are so good. The prices have definitely increased from when we first started eating here but the quality of the food is worth it. For our entrees, we ordered the drunken noodles with less spice which they easily accommodated. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and not over cooked. Only diced potatoes in it and some other stuff coud not figure out what is was, but it is a disgrace to call them curry puffs. 2nd dish was the pineapple fried rice which was edible. The lunch special is great. Spice does not skimp on the portion-sizes or the appetizers. Unfortunately, the flavors were underwhelming. The Drunk Man Noodles must have completed a 12-step program or something because they were parched. The dish--and especially the beef--was so dry and flavorless. A fun fact about Drunk Man Noodles (also known as Pad Khee Mao) is that the name comes from the idea that the dish is so spicy, it should be enjoyed with a tall glass of beer or three. But these noodles were about as spicy as the Cheerios I had for breakfast. Still, given the excellent price and portion-size, I'd be willing to try again. But I'll probably avoid the beef and make sure to ask for extra spice (and just flavor, in general) the next time. read more

Chicken satay was great- good peanut sauce When I saw the chor muang under the royalty bites, I thought of the purple flower dumplings I had from Nuaa (now closed I believe, but the dumplings were heavenly and haven't had anything like that ever since)... so I was super excited but it didn't live up to its picture. The filling didn't have much flavor, couldn't really taste the chicken or any flavor besides peanuts. The outer layer was a bit too much as well. Quite a disappointment The Thai iced tea was way too sweet, and I know Thai iced tea is usually pretty sweet but I've had my fair share of these and unfortunately, had to throw out after a few sips. We got a few appetizers- my favorite of the night was the Chor Muang which was purple dumplings with ground chicken, onion, peanut with a spicy sauce.
