Super delicious bagels. I had the plain bagel with bacon egg and cheddar which was amazing. My fiancé had some variation of a breakfast sandwich with turkey, peppers and Swiss on an everything bagel and I was definitely jealous of the everything bagel. I also got the cinnamon sugar bagel with cinnamon sugar cream cheese. Tasted like a cinnamon roll. Went back again this morning and got the bacon egg and cheddar on an everything bagel. Tried St Paul Bagelry for the first time yesterday. We ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches online, the Luther Vandross and a bagel with egg and ham. The Vandross on a "everything " bagel and the other on a sesame seed bagel. Our order was ready for pickup as stated on the order confirmation and both sandwiches were hot and fresh. Both bagels were fully covered and very delightful. The sandwich ingredients although somewhat less than plentiful, were tasty and freshly made. As far as first impressions go, we'll definitely give St Paul Bagelry another try, perhaps by trying a half dozen bagels with some of their cream cheeses. read more

This is my second time ordering St. Paul Bagelry for a client breakfast and I must say they are my new go-to for office catering! I usually get the bakers dozen, which comes with 2 tubs of cream cheese, and it always leaves everyone happy. You also can't beat their prices for fresh (not chain restaurant) bagels! I did have a slight snafu with my online order this time, but after calling the store they were able to fix the issue for me and even comp'd me my Lox Sandwich! As for the sandwich, it was a wonderfully soft everything bagel with capers, salmon, onion, and tomato. I'm not going to say its as good as a New York lox bagel, but it is pretty damn good. I also have enjoyed their jalapeño cheese bagel and the asiago cheese bagel. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of their combos. read more

I've eaten St Paul Bagelry bagels from the Mississippi Market Co-op and the St Paul Farmers market and absolutely fell in love with the everything bagel. On a Sunday morning I was wanting a breakfast out and couldn't decide where to go- then St Paul Bagelry popped up and I was sold. Got there early enough on Sunday morning that there wasn't a line but by the time I left, the line went out the door. I had a Diana Ross sandwich which had so many veggies on it that I've never thought of putting on my breakfast bagel. It amazingly worked extremely well with my everything bagel. The sandwich does come with an egg, however it is not the star of the show in this sandwich because all the other goodness makes you almost forget it's there. Grabbed a coffee with the sandwich which was also delicious. For being pretty crowded, the vibe was still chill and the noise at a comfortable level where you could still hold a conversation. I have lived in Minneapolis since the 90's and while Bruegger's original bagel recipe was okay, they changed it around 2005 and I now consider their bagels to be mediocre at best. The other local bagel options including Einstein Bagels are complete garbage. Einstein, in fact, now owns Bruegger's for the record. Now to St Paul Bagelry. Their bagels are consistently amazing. The bagels are cooked to perfection where I often would get hard overcooked bagels at Bruegger's. More importantly, the bagel toppings are mostly organic and always fresh. You can't go wrong with a breakfast bagel with egg and bacon or a bagel with turkey and multiple toppings for lunch. St Paul Bagelry is not only the best but the only great option in town! read more

It's a great shop with plenty of room for you to enjoy your carby treat. I went with the Lox sandwich on an everything bagel and I was not disappointed! Their large bagels (which I got hooked on thanks to my local co-op, Seward) are delightful (especially the "everything" bagel!) and their cream cheeses are delightful. The prices are dirt cheap - a bagel is like $1! Woah. They also offer some tasty looking breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. And Dogwood coffee. And the spin records. Cute bagel shop that makes a good cappuccino. I ordered the "Luther Vandross" breakfast sandwich also. It is basically a meat lovers sandwich that is served on a cinnamon sugar bagel. (You can get another type of bagel, but the cinnamon sugar one really DOES go well with it) I got mine without egg of course, but it was still a full sandwich (most places leave your sandwich looking thin and flimsy when you ask for it without egg).
