This is a San Francisco institution. You can make reservations on their website or walk up to the Yelp waitlist. The crabs are currently $81 each and we ordered one each. The roasted crab is the most popular... according to the staff, it's the only one people order. I just remember it to be more flavorful than it was during our last visit. The garlic noodles are the original and honestly the best deal. It's so flavorful without being overpowering. We ordered one and then ordered another and then one to go. :) yes it's that good. We also ordered seafood fried rice which was good and our bill was around $315, which included the 20 percent mandated gratuity. For what it's worth, I thought it was too much for what we got. The roasted crab was 4/5 stars. The butter was a little too much and a tad too salty. I had to order a coke in order to cut through the saltiness. The crab came out quickly and was full of meat. The legs weren't difficult to break through, except for the claws. The shaken beef was super tender, but tasted bland once you tasted the crab. Garlic noodles were solid and help balanced the saltiness of the crab. I personally thought the tiger prawns were okay, maybe 3.5/5, but other people in my party loved it. I thought it was it was too dry for my taste. The crab puffs were really good, the peanut sauce was a too sweet for dipping, so honestly on its own was the best. The mussels were also very good, the bread was nice and soft, but could get too much for people who don't like doughy taste. The calamari was pretty basic, the black pepper was a bit strong.
