Wanted to see if the porchetta sandwich improved after my last experience. What I received during my follow up visit was like night and day. The bread wasn't hard and dry, the sandwich was filled with juicy pork belly, there was a nice amount of salsa verde and caramelized onions, and the sandwich just looked exponentially better. I haven't tried the sauces before so I got horseradish mayo, spicy garlic mayo, and the pineapple habanero ketchup just to try. The horseradish mayo and the pineapple habanero ketchup were fire. I took a few bites of my sando with the sauces to cut the richness because the salsa verde only did so much. Don't knock it till you try it! lol read more

Delicious food! Smash burgers are amazing! If you're at Haven City Market you must try this place.

If you want unique food that's actually worth your money, look no further. Staff is friendly and service is relatively quick. Since they are located inside the Haven City Market food hall, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. Clean restrooms are available in the hall as well. Parking isn't generally an issue since the market has a decent sized lot, but it does get pretty busy, especially on the weekends. The general noise level is moderate to high - the market does hold events, so check their calendar! They have a good amount of loaded fries, burger/sandwich, and side options - many of which are not your run-of-the-mill types. Everything I've tried here so far is very flavorful, not too greasy, and overall just enjoyable to eat. A major point to them for making true "smash" burgers. They also offer many different beer, wine, sodas, and specialty drinks. Prices are fair. This is a cool spot with innovative ideas, so definitely give them a try! read more

Got the Wagyu Smash Cheeseburger which was absolutely delicious. 10/10 The garlic truffle fries were not the greatest though. I'd give that a 4/10. Staff was great and happy to be there. I love The Kroft ever since they first came to the Packing District so I was over the moon when they finally came to Rancho Cucamonga! You can't go wrong with this place. It's the best. This time I split an amazing meal with my friend and we enjoined the left over sandwich (thanksgiving lefovers sandwich) and the braised beef poutine with garlic parm fries. We got there at opening and there was no line but ten minutes later there was a constant line. Staff was friendly and super quick. Stopped by The Kroft at Haven City Market right around Happy Hour, and I was really impressed. Happy Hour runs Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. and they offer 50% off sides and beers, which is honestly an amazing deal. We came on a holiday just as Happy Hour started, and it wasn't crowded at all--perfect for hanging out. It did get busier after 5, but still very manageable. Service was fantastic from start to finish. Food took a little time, but that's expected since everything is made fresh--nothing excessive at all. One thing to note: refills are only for fountain drinks, not the lemonades or fruity drinks. With the discounts, the prices were definitely worth it. We ordered the Garlic Truffle Fries, Spicy Fries, Birria Eggroll, jalapeño coleslaw, and the Kroft Chicken Sandwich. Everything hit the spot. Garlic Truffle Fries: Perfect. Not overpowering--just the right balance. Spicy Fries: Not too spicy, still flavorful. Birria Eggroll: The surprise standout. Creative, delicious, and honestly I wanted more. Kroft Chicken Sandwich: Great crunch and flavor. Comes with sauce and coleslaw. The coleslaw itself has a spicy kick--good flavor, but the jalapeños weren't spicy at all. The Kroft is fairly new to Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga. They specialize primarily in poutines which is pretty much a full meal in itself from what I was informed by the young man behind the counter. If you don't know what poutines are... well, let me share with you... they are a Canadian classic that comes with fries topped with cheese curds, gravy, and various toppings. They also offer tasty artisan sandwiches, mouthwatering Wagyu smashburgers and fries, delectable sides such as coleslaw, curds, mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, and other refreshments. I didn't get the poutines on my first visit, but I did go with one of their signature sandwiches, Kroft Fried Chicken Sandwich, and a side order of regular fries. OMG, sandwich was huge and long! It was quite unexpected. I accept LOL. Chicken breast was perfectly fried and juicy. Jalapeno slaw had a unique pickled taste to it... it was good, but I felt it made the sandwich wet... I may ask for it on the side next time. Loved the garlic mayo sauce! Fries were quite crispy and delicious. I enjoyed my meal very much. Yum!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I've been to both The Kroft in Anaheim and Tustin, and their poutine creations were always a treat. So when I heard that Haven City Rancho was getting their own booth, I was excited. The poutine was as delicious as ever--filling, flavorful, and just a delight for the tastebuds. I've said it before a good entree of poutine ranks right up there with my favorite dishes. I'm not talking the moronic avant garde poutine fusions or homages. I'm talking a bed of fries, brown gravy, and honest-to-gods squeaky cheese curds. I don't care if you add a few things to that recipe, but if eff around with those core three ingredients, it's not poutine any more to me. The Kroft in Rancho delivers on that promise and for that I still salute them. I just had a couple of quibbles with this location and outing. One, the workers really stood around yukking it up with the customers to the detriment of everybody else in the sizable just wanting to order. I'm all for some polite banter with your fans, but not when you've got one register going and you're spending five to ten minutes just shooting the shiznit instead of doing you job of managing orders getting taken and fulfilled. Two, the portion size seems to have been scaled back. I still remember when it was a chore to eat my way through a whole serving of the poutines at Anaheim or Tustin. Here, I finished my poutine and was still kind of hungry. I'm not saying the missing portion size is egregious, but it is noticeably lacking compared to the other locations or what it used to be. Eating at Haven City is still a nice locale with nice atmosphere and offering a slice of life at every dining area. Other than that, I was pretty happy with my meal. The Kroft is still my go-to poutine pusher and I still think of them when I get a craving. Hopefully, these issues aren't much of an issue the next time I go. read more

I saw the menu online and the food looked so good I had to try it. Apparently they use A.I. to make their food look edible cuz the crap they served me was not (see pictures). I ordered the Birria Sandwich Dip, but what I got was what you see, a flattened road kill sandwich with nothing on it but some old horse meat they must have pulled from the freezer. Was is tasteless? I wish! It tasted like it looked. It's 4 hours later and my stomach is still turning. With the Mr Ed Dip I also ordered the $5 side of fries. While they were crispy and good, they served up a stingy portion that certainly wasn't worth the money. To make matters worse, I actually tipped at the check stand before I even got my food (15 minutes later). Total bill for two was $52. I'm giving them 2 stars because my friend said his burger was pretty good, although it looked nothing like the picture either.
