When I saw that they had the Birria dip sandwich I knew I had to try it and I expected it to be smaller than the actual photo but it was very big, hot, cheesy, and delicious. Everything you love about Birria was in the sandwich! The consomme was a bit different, more of a gravy consistency, but I really enjoyed it and so did my husband! we were dipping fries in it too. It came out faster than I expected, and everybody was really nice. The employee kindly answered my questions about the Birria eggrolls but i didnt try them because the onion and cilantro was in the premade rolls (makes sense! I just hhhaaaaateeeee cilantro & onion). This is kind of a limited sandwich for them or at least that's what it seemed like, but I would definitely eat it again and thankfully, we have a more local one near me. It's in the haven city marketplace so seating is first come first serve. Busy active place!
I always have so much trouble choosing where to eat at the Haven City Market, however during my last visit, I was in the mood for a good quality burger and fries meal. With this craving, my husband and I found ourselves at The Kroft and, let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. From the service to the food, everything was perfect. As noted above; The Kroft is located inside of the Haven City Market. There is plenty of free parking via their parking lot right outside of the market that's shared for visitors of the whole establishment. We ordered a few things to share among our family for lunch and, truly, everything was delicious. Our order consisted of: - Birria Eggrolls - Loco Moco Poutine fries - French Onion Smash Bgr All of the flavor profiles were perfectly matched to their namesake. My favorite was the French Onion Smash Bgr. The smash burger itself was packed with flavors and was a prime example of a solid burger. We also loved how the kitchen was generous with the poutine in the loaded fries. It was my daughter's favorite part of the meal. The Kroft is a fantastic addition to the Haven City Market. They made a strong first impression and we will definitely be back to try more off of their menu sooner than later.
This is one of the burger spots you can choose inside Haven City Market. Heard good things about Kroft and I'm so glad we tried it. Luckily there many seats available at the time we got there because I know it can be pretty busy in there. We got the wagyu smash burger with garlic truffle fries and the spicy jack smash burger with spicy fries. Overall it was good, but the meat of the burger was on the drier side and the cheese wasn't melted as much as I'd like it to be. Both fries were really good and texture was cooked to perfection. The strawberry lemonade was a tad bit sweet but still good. However, the mango lemonade tasted a bit watered down. I'm a fan of mango flavored drinks but I would've skipped out on that one. The girl who took our order was very sweet and was efficient with taking our orders. Overall, would come and but I'll have try another burger.
The Kroft, located in Haven City Market, really hit the spot for us. We wanted something filling but not too much as we had further plans. My friend chose the Loaded Philly Fries, which she said were like an amped up In n Out animal fries, which is a compliment since she likes those. For me, a keto option of bunless smash burger was the way to go. It had exactly what one looks for in this kind of burger - that crispy goodness that comes from the Maillard reaction. MmmMmmmm! Cheesy, beefy, saucy goodness! Order at the counter, find a table, and wait to be texted. Or, head outside where fresh air, shady spaces, or sunlight make for a beautiful dining area.
My boyfriend and I were hanging out at the Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga and the Kroft had an anniversary buy one get one free deal on the day of our visit. What a deal! We decided to share the Kroft Fried Chicken ($13.95/value) and the Braised Beef Poutine ($13.95/value). They gave us a pager so we were able to walk around and find a table while the food was getting prepared. There are plenty of tables around Haven City Market. The food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. The portion of both of these were big. The fried chicken sandwich was a bit bready for my liking. The fried chicken was a bit oily. I didn't like the jalapeno and found myself picking it out. I could have used more garlic aioli in it. The braised beef poutine was definitely the better of the 2. There was a good amount of braised beef and gravy on top of fries. My only comment is that I would have liked more cheese curds. A nice snack. I have been a fan of the Kroft since their Anaheim Packing District location so I'm glad they expanded and doing well. I would like it if they brought back the porchetta sandwich.
Was craving a smash burger and Kroft didn't disappoint at all from the caramelized edges of the wagyu patties, the runny fried egg that I added and the brioche bun. I was also interested in trying the birria poutine glad I did it was packed with flavor, I couldn't finish it so I brought it home and ate it the following day, still good with the melted cheese curds. When you pick up your order there's a very hilarious picture of a crying pig if you look closely enough. If you want to try poutine, this is the place to do it! I was surprised that they had such an extensive menu of poutine (classic, but they also have smashed wagyu, loco moco, fried fish chowder, braised beef, chicken parm, etc. and of course they also have their sandwiches, burgers and sides. If you have kiddos or not a big appetite, they have a kid's meal too. They have their soft serve, but sadly when I went they only had their vanilla, no seasonal flavor, but that was okay. I got their loco moco poutine loaded fries. Loco moco is one of my favorite dishes to get at Hawaiian restaurants, so this was a no brainer for me. You leave them your number and they text you when your order is read. Everything is grilled/fried on the spot so it comes out piping hot and it takes a bit of time, especially on a weekend, but it's worth the wait for something tasty. It took around 15-ish minutes for my order but there was line when I ordered, a line after me and when I picked up my food, a group of people waiting for their food. So just keep that in mind. Not too bad. For their loco moco poutine, it comes with 2 smashed wagyu beef patties, grilled and crispy fried onions, a fried sunny side up egg, brown gravy, cheese curds, green onions, and ketchup glaze. It's as they say, they're loaded fries. I took a couple bites and immediately got full. Definitely something that can be shared amongst people, at least 2, or even more if you want to wander the food hall and try more. Cheese curds are super cheesy, did a really tall cheese pull with it. Fries are the thicker cut type and went great with the gravy. Egg was nice and runny adding extra flavor to it. I think the only thing is with all of the savory and the beef patties, gravy, and fries, it was a tad salty for me. I took this home to supplement with rice, so I can have carbs on carbs. Overall not bad.
Finally an actual smash burger and not something just called a smash burger. crispy cheese, well done burger, soft toasted bread. It was complete. The star was the Birria egg rolls, something I can explain why it works so well with a consume dipping broth on the side but this was the highlight and I can go just for this with the jalapeño coleslaw that was fresh, no where over dressed but came together well. Spicy fries are spicy fries. Cooked well! Delivery order so I can't speak to more than the actual food.
Lots of spots to choose from in the food hall but you should check out the Kroft if you like burgers! Burgers were large and made fresh to order. We had the option to dine in or take out. Deserae was super kind and helpful. We Ordered: - 1 Haven w/ Garlic Truffle Fries - too spicy for me, but still very good, fries were seasoned well and crispy - 1 French Onion Smash Burger- came with a dipping sauce, tasty and I recommend There were lots of seating in the food hall and lots of parking available.
I ordered the chicken sandwich along with the cheese fries. My daughter ordered cheese steak, but we won't talk much about that because I didn't taste it. However, she did say it was very cheesy, and that she wished the bread was toasted. My meal was very good. Now, I will say I was very skeptical at first, and no I won't tell you why. You're probably wondering why bring it up then right? Well, it's because there just may be someone else out there that is hesitant. To that, I say, just go. You will not regret it. I love that the chicken sandwich was fresh and well seasoned. It was a nice thinly cut of breast, tender and crispy. The spicy garlic mayo, if an option, order it on the sandwich, trust me. I ordered it on the side. The fries were hot and delicious, with just enough cheese sauce. The slaw, on the sandwich, I liked it. Oh, and the blueberry lemonade was quite refreshing. I enjoyed the fact that you could taste BOTH the blueberries and the lemon. The service was great, and the restaurant appeared to be clean and orderly. This place is worth a visit.

Ima make this short and sweet, COME HERE. They have so many good options but this time I got the spicy jack burger and it was delicious. The candied bacon and spicy aioli are a perfect combination I couldn't get enough. It was exactly what it's advertised as, spicy, so be aware. Wanted to see if the porchetta sandwich improved after my last experience. What I received during my follow up visit was like night and day. The bread wasn't hard and dry, the sandwich was filled with juicy pork belly, there was a nice amount of salsa verde and caramelized onions, and the sandwich just looked exponentially better. I haven't tried the sauces before so I got horseradish mayo, spicy garlic mayo, and the pineapple habanero ketchup just to try. The horseradish mayo and the pineapple habanero ketchup were fire. If you want unique food that's actually worth your money, look no further. Staff is friendly and service is relatively quick. Since they are located inside the Haven City Market food hall, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. Clean restrooms are available in the hall as well. Parking isn't generally an issue since the market has a decent sized lot, but it does get pretty busy, especially on the weekends. The general noise level is moderate to high - the market does hold events, so check their calendar! They have a good amount of loaded fries, burger/sandwich, and side options - many of which are not your run-of-the-mill types. Everything I've tried here so far is very flavorful, not too greasy, and overall just enjoyable to eat. A major point to them for making true "smash" burgers. They also offer many different beer, wine, sodas, and specialty drinks. Prices are fair. This is a cool spot with innovative ideas, so definitely give them a try! read more

I love The Kroft ever since they first came to the Packing District so I was over the moon when they finally came to Rancho Cucamonga! You can't go wrong with this place. It's the best. This time I split an amazing meal with my friend and we enjoined the left over sandwich (thanksgiving lefovers sandwich) and the braised beef poutine with garlic parm fries. We got there at opening and there was no line but ten minutes later there was a constant line. Staff was friendly and super quick. If you're at haven city around 1130 am you won't have trouble finding seating so we were in good shape and found a nice booth super close to The Kroft. read more

Stopped by The Kroft at Haven City Market right around Happy Hour, and I was really impressed. Happy Hour runs Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. and they offer 50% off sides and beers, which is honestly an amazing deal. We came on a holiday just as Happy Hour started, and it wasn't crowded at all--perfect for hanging out. It did get busier after 5, but still very manageable. Service was fantastic from start to finish. Food took a little time, but that's expected since everything is made fresh--nothing excessive at all. One thing to note: refills are only for fountain drinks, not the lemonades or fruity drinks. With the discounts, the prices were definitely worth it. We ordered the Garlic Truffle Fries, Spicy Fries, Birria Eggroll, jalapeño coleslaw, and the Kroft Chicken Sandwich. Everything hit the spot. Garlic Truffle Fries: Perfect. Not overpowering--just the right balance. Spicy Fries: Not too spicy, still flavorful. Birria Eggroll: The surprise standout. Creative, delicious, and honestly I wanted more. Kroft Chicken Sandwich: Great crunch and flavor. Comes with sauce and coleslaw. The coleslaw itself has a spicy kick--good flavor, but the jalapeños weren't spicy at all. The Kroft is fairly new to Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga. They specialize primarily in poutines which is pretty much a full meal in itself from what I was informed by the young man behind the counter. If you don't know what poutines are... well, let me share with you... they are a Canadian classic that comes with fries topped with cheese curds, gravy, and various toppings. They also offer tasty artisan sandwiches, mouthwatering Wagyu smashburgers and fries, delectable sides such as coleslaw, curds, mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, and other refreshments. I didn't get the poutines on my first visit, but I did go with one of their signature sandwiches, Kroft Fried Chicken Sandwich, and a side order of regular fries. OMG, sandwich was huge and long! It was quite unexpected. I accept LOL. Chicken breast was perfectly fried and juicy. Jalapeno slaw had a unique pickled taste to it... it was good, but I felt it made the sandwich wet... I've been to both The Kroft in Anaheim and Tustin, and their poutine creations were always a treat. So when I heard that Haven City Rancho was getting their own booth, I was excited. The poutine was as delicious as ever--filling, flavorful, and just a delight for the tastebuds. I've said it before a good entree of poutine ranks right up there with my favorite dishes. I'm not talking the moronic avant garde poutine fusions or homages. I'm talking a bed of fries, brown gravy, and honest-to-gods squeaky cheese curds. I don't care if you add a few things to that recipe, but if eff around with those core three ingredients, it's not poutine any more to me. The Kroft in Rancho delivers on that promise and for that I still salute them. I just had a couple of quibbles with this location and outing. One, the workers really stood around yukking it up with the customers to the detriment of everybody else in the sizable just wanting to order. I'm all for some polite banter with your fans, but not when you've got one register going and you're spending five to ten minutes just shooting the shiznit instead of doing you job of managing orders getting taken and fulfilled. Two, the portion size seems to have been scaled back. I still remember when it was a chore to eat my way through a whole serving of the poutines at Anaheim or Tustin. Here, I finished my poutine and was still kind of hungry. I'm not saying the missing portion size is egregious, but it is noticeably lacking compared to the other locations or what it used to be. Eating at Haven City is still a nice locale with nice atmosphere and offering a slice of life at every dining area. Other than that, I was pretty happy with my meal. The Kroft is still my go-to poutine pusher and I still think of them when I get a craving. Hopefully, these issues aren't much of an issue the next time I go. read more
